@@shellybear627 ?????????????? I can't tell if you're insinuating that I was angry that Ned was fired, cause he fucked around and found out and I'm glad he was fired.
Cheating on your wife with someone under you when you are the boss. Like she was in a position to not be screwed either way. She says no, possibly fired, say yes, judged by certain people who find out. … great guy to put two woman in a bad position. That is cringe.
People forget that the Try Guys couldn't LEGALLY say a lot when it happened because who was in the HR department? Yep. Wife Guy. So they had to get aaaaaallll these extra people involved because the whole situation had the potential to be an atomic bomb for their company. One wrong move could have cost them their entire company plus their staff too. They handled it super professionally.
I wonder if they have Alex under an NDA about this in exchange for keeping her job with them. As far as I can tell she’s the only one that’s been totally silent and they seem to have had very solid legal council
@@Jenninka hard to say for sure but I can't imagine she would want to stay in the workplace after everything came out. While they probably couldn't and didn't fire her, she probably left of her own accord. An NDA would be pretty smart on TTG's part tho.
And it was a lot of stress for them. Ned pretty much *was* the HR department. That is why they couldn't just fire Alex-she probably got a nice severance to not take them to court.
@@Jenninka she quit the job in the following weeks after it blew up, they couldn’t fire her but apparently everybody made VERY clear she wasn’t welcomed in the office after putting the company and all their jobs at risk. Also the fiancée dumped her cheating ass, good for him.
This might accidentally be a shitty take, but I do admire the Try Guys' fans who pretty much found this out. Like, not only did they call someone out on the atrocious thing they did, but they ALSO alerted the fiancé. That's a display of decent humanity, imo. It does suck that the fans found out before Keith, Eugene, and Zach got to announce it for themselves, but looking back on it.......DAMN.
Tbf there are millions of us and only a handful of them so we had more eyes on the situation. I can't believe Ned mentioned being recognized at concerts then cheated at one.
@@Hello___there Hey, if he was stepping out he obviously had reasons. You could be onto something with that. People that are struggling emotionally often act out in an attempt to get the attention they are missing. On a subconscious level it's as if the id and ego know the best chance for survival is resolution. The individual is driven to egregious behavior as a cry for help. Like part of their mind just says, "This will prove I'm serious!"
@@jinxed402 could be, even further speculation but a part of me can imagine if maybe he did want to divorce Ariel or something similar he might’ve felt trapped due to him being the ‘wife guy’ (which is completely his own fault he made his persona he can lay in it) therefore he might’ve done it in a public place specifically to give him an out.
@@honestival He looked up to their marriage in general as well, since his own parents are divorced, I'm sure he saw them as an example of what a happy couple looks like. I'm sure he's gonna be fine though, he's had an amazing supporting partner for the past 3 years at the very least, and he has a lot of other great examples in the relationships Zach and Keith have themselves.
@@LoreCatan Was going to say this. There's some clips where he jokes about not having good views on marriages. Not only did he probably think of them as a good example but also KNOWS what those kids are going through. It takes a real piece of shit to cheat knowing he has kids looking up to him.
Not only all that. It was Ned that kinda pushed all the guys to keep doing this after Buzzfeed. Like Eugene wasn’t fully on board but Ned pulled them in to let’s keep doing this. And then Ned did this. So that’s also kinda F’d up lol
Keith hit the nail on the head about why the SNL skit didn't work -- they were trying to minimize the situation and didn't make any punches at Ned at all. SNL boiled it down to this undeserved rage over a "consensual kiss," and it wasn't that. This was a boss of a company having a year-long affair with an employee, where they not only slept with each other, but also went out on very public dates; SNL tried to act like it was outlandish to hold men in power accountable for their actions (which given their own allegations shouldn't be shocking). I think the reason this became such a scandal is because there are SOOO many layers to how many people this affected, apart from just Ariel, the kids, and Will. It deeply wounded the partners involved (I will always stan Ariel) but it also had the potential to destroy years of work, not just from the guys, but also from all the 2nd Try employees and the guys' side projects. It was messy.
@@angrybidoof847 He does, I believe they went to Yale together and that's how he knows him? I could be making that part up though, I do know that he has a friend who writes for the show.
@@void9938Ariel has two small children with Ned and she’s been with him for so long, and likely envisioned her entire life with him. I wish she would leave him, because she deserves so much better, but it’s easier said than done.
I never side eyed the other Try Guys when Ned did what he did because they didn't know until Reddit caught him and once they got confirmation about the affair they got rid of him. They didn't cover for him. They didn't let years of friendship to the point of found family hood cloud their judgement. He had to go for professional and for personal reasons. Nobody wants to be friends with someone who lies so easily and after all the facts were put out there, they moved on. They didn't milk it. And honestly, all of them are better off without Ned. The chemistry is better, the videos are better, and they're happy so as a longtime fan, I'm happy. I hope Ariel left Ned in the aftermath like Alexandria's fiance left her. I hope the children are doing all right regardless of their parents marital status. As Ned and Alexandria, they can both stay off the internet and lay in the bed they made with their selfish decisions.
Also, this isn't like finding out that Carol in HR was making out like with nightime security staff. These people are all friends and their wives even have a YT channel together. This ruined a personal and professional relationship.
To be clear, they knew because of fans who contacted ariel and the fiancee directly and they started addressing the issue behind the scenes even before it became a sroeg. the Reddit thing only became that big because they noticed they guys were already cutting him out; that’s why they were able to so quickly move into making and address of the issue when it became public knowledge.
Also, they had years of friendship with Ariel as well; they were there for her career changes, her two kids, she build the office they use to this day…. Ned wasn’t the only member of the family deeply involved with the company.
The strange thing about this to me was that Ned was going out with this girl in very public situations as a public figure and really not doing much to try and hide this affair at all. It makes me wonder if he wanted to get caught because he was too much of a coward to come clean himself. Also, Vice is going bankrupt? Damn, I did not know that.
Absolutely he wanted to get caught and so did she. It's not called "sneaking around" cuz you are out in public at clubs and bars. Lol. They got what they wanted.
Or sometimes narcissists think they are superior and very intelligent (when they are just average), but end up commiting the stupidest mistakes that none would make coz of overconfidence
Maybe 🤷🏻♀️ my bet though would just be that they were cocky, especially since it had been going on for a while, and that they thought they wouldn’t get caught or that people wouldn’t believe it or that they could lie their way out of it.
@@manejimenez8601 it’s not just them thinking they are smart. To “fill their bucket,” and feel things (since many narcs, ASPD, BPD do extreme things) they push the boundaries. When they don’t get caught, don’t cause their expected chaos, etc. they up the ante each subsequent time. It’s similar to how lotto jackpots keep increasing until someone finally wins. These people keep on going until they are held accountable, or have a major crisis. Even then, it will only be a temporary lull until they need to fill their void (bucket) again. Many people like this describe themselves as seeing others feel and experience emotions but that they cannot do it themselves. They learn to mimic what feelings look like but they often don’t feel the same feelings or feel them in the same way. It’s a muted internal response. So these people have to go way overboard just to experience the stimulation of feelings or to fulfill their boredom.
I really respect that they were so serious in their first video about it. I dont think they were too serious at all. They made a point of not uploading something in a similar style or attitude to their regular content to show that this wasn't for content, it wasn't something to joke about, that there were huge repercussions for lots of people, that the situation had caused a lot of people pain and created way more work, and that the actions of one person could seriously tarnish the reputation of a brand that so many people had worked for years to build. They were going to get hate no matter what because theyre content creators and people suck but they would have been seen as people that were okay with it had they not taken such a hard stance.
i feel people claim them editing ned as an elephant and stuff was "milking it" when they had to put those videos up still and ned was so clearly there they can't edit around him any other way. i don't think them doing that was to milk it, it was because they had to still post those videos but couldn't cut him out in a normal way.
It wasn't milking it- they more so tried to laugh about it. He was the *elephant* in the room They even tried making puns in the openers like "will they spill the beans about (turkey gobbles)." Also, the editors did AMAZING, and I appreciate all their hard work. They deserve praise for all the shizz they had to go through in terms of editing WaR.
The way those three handled that situation was a masterclass in managing a crisis the correct way in real time. They are in a rare class of creators who actually got it right. 👍🏾
Part of the surge in their viewership was due to old fans (like myself) who fell off their content awhile ago coming back to check out the channel when the drama happened. Like outside of the drama, it was a fun throwback but eventually came back to me realizing that I’m not that into their content anymore.
that and cuz they were a childs program suddenly about this ugly nerd cheating on his wife.. made it actually interesting. can confirm i stayed for 1 video 😂
It’s not even that he cheated, which was bad enough. But that he is having a sexual relationship with an employee of the company of which he was part owner. That exposed them all to some serious risk legally and financially. Love the Try Guys as they are. Love your channel too. Here’s to the 400K subscribers milestone. May you reach it within the next 3 days.
I watched the try guys from buzzfeed, I immediately went to their channel. I became a mom and watched Ned and Ariels videos on pregnancy and children and it made me feel so happy that i could relate to them like that. I've been watching them for years and years. Comfort channel for me, now. I grew up with these guys so I formed a big parasocial relationship with the Try Guys I went through an engagement breakup, and I idealized Ned and Ariel, so it really was a huge shock to me. I watch them on and off now, but once I saw that stuff about Ned, I started binge watching, watching through ads, liking, commenting, etc, because I felt like I needed to give them that support. But their channel is actually really great now, it's more mature in a way!
100% if it had been a random person who wasn't related to the company at all, Ned would probably still be there. It's especially fucked up *because* it was an employee. And because it was, Ned forced the situation to only have one response.
Tbh I’m happy it was an employee because no doubt he sucks no matter with whom he cheated BUT it being with an employee was the only way the other guys were actually able to fire him 👌🏻 imagine them being stuck with a cheater they all hate making videos…. Would have been the end of their channel but also I imagine it to be quite entertaining because Eugene would have been wild to watch 😅
He'd probably still be there bc legally there isn't a way to justify firing someone when they had their affair with someone unrelated to the company outside of work hours. There would be some MAAAD beef in the try guys office though that's for sure
Sometimes I always wonder why do people like Ned who had it all choose to ruin it all by doing something so stupid as to cheat on his wife and to cheat with an employee. He 100% knew that doing something as moronic as that would ruin his "I love my wife" brand. I guess when you're at the top you feel like you could do no wrong and decided to do the most braindead decision.
Massive egos are coupled with crippling insecurities, making people like him susceptible to self-sabotage. Or he thought he was hot shit for still having game after a wife and kids
I mean what else can we expect from a former frat boy from an Ivy League? He was pinnacle “upper middle class white male” so rules never really applied to him… until they did.
@Beatriz Zacharias I agree with you, but I don't think stereotyping people helps. An unhealed person with a lot of insecurities, probably in some form of mid life crisis, marriage and kids are stressful, narcissistic tendencies and low emotional intelligence (and perhaps the frat boy/toxic masculinity thing just creates an environment where cheating is normalized) play a part. All kinds of men and women cheat, unfortunately, but it's sad to see a family fall apart because one of the parents had unresolved issues and chose to act this way instead of finding a better solution.
Ned doesn’t know how lucky he is. Ariel could *end* him socially & economically if she was that kind of person. Can you imagine how big her return would be? Especially as Ned’s Ex
@@AbstractOddity almost always it’s business or children. As angry as the wife is, the mother in them is stronger so they want their kids to have a dad
I met him years ago as a kid and yeah he wasn’t too excited to meet us lmao. Also apparently he’s a creep to ladies? I need to look into it more but that’s what I’ve seen.
Bill Nye and Ned will steal ALL your bitches… why u think they aren’t famous like that anymore?!? too much time inside the bedroom for the paparazzi to keep up
I remember worrying about the Fulmer boys. Just suddenly getting their 3 almost Uncles just ripped away from them without an explanation. And their friendship with Rachael's twins. The Try Wives were also really close. I hope they have a relationship offline and without Ned. I still think Ariel knew he was going to cheat at some point, and maybe they had an agreement, but not shared with the public. It still shouldn't have been with Alex.
Im sure they did actually gain some new audience, I'm a now a consistent viewer of the try guys since ned left and they made AMAZING content better than before I think and there's people who forgot and started watching again. They really did one of the best jobs in handling the situation, it's a how to on how to handle a scandal because they were honest and put legal actions first.
Ned’s friend did write the sketch, which Keith’s wife tweeted about. So yeah, i think it’s pretty clear how they feel about it. It’s just crazy how viral this story became.
I've always felt awful for Ariel. She's always been present and supportive for Ned and this is how he repays that love. I hope she's doing okay (and that she's been working on divorce settlements for the last eight months).
Lets be real SNL said what everyone thought.. they fired Nate because he kept fucking their bitches and they just couldn’t take it 🤷🏼♂️ He was Olympic Gold in “Hide the Salami”.. treat the man w respect!
I met Bill Nye outside of a hotel where I was at an industry wedding years ago, and he was a lovely and very kind person. Not proof of anything, but I found it hilarious that he was a little starstruck by the bride while I was so incredibly blown away starstruck I was standing next to BILL FREAKING NYE. There are certain people who always leave you kind of giddy.
@@TheQueenOfSheba i believe u, its just TRY*** Guys not THREE 😂 (altho there is 3 of em.. which is why i was tryna see if u genuinely didn’t understand what he said most tge video when mentioning their name or if you just meant the number)
I could never comprehend how people have time and energy to cheat. Like, when you're in a relationship, it takes a lot, even if the flame is not so hot as it was. How do people actually cheat? Do they have these pendulum things from Harry Potter to make their days longer?.. And also, ofc, cheating on your wife with an employee is megacringe 😢
SNL's take on the skit was that, they felt that cheating on your spouse is a common thing and it's not that big of a deal. However, in reality, it is under various reasons.
Her being single or not didn’t matter in the legal aspect of it - what people forgot is that they had just started a cooking show for a tv network and it was cut short because of this. Ned actually destroyed the biggest leap they had in their careers since opening their own company.
I actually reconnected with them because of the drama. I'd been subscribed to them since the beginning of the channel, but stopped watching regularly for quite some time (never unsubscribing, because I knew I liked their content). Now I watch every video they post! Guess I just needed a break to fall in love with their content again, and it helps that they feel freer to post whatever they want and to expand the channel to other people, although I'd like for there to be at least one of the try guys in every video
Been watching you since you told us to subscribe to reach 250k, so hearing you say 450k now honestly makes me so proud and happy for you Callum 💪🏽 good on ya
A lot of people believed the other guys knew about it AND that Ned had been acting like that for years. Also a lot of people didn't understand their strong reaction was partly because of Fulmer's actions being absolutely opposite to their BRAND. They get their money from advertising and sponsors - for their brand, which is wholesomeness. Obviously it wasn't just about business either - it was about friendships.
Yes! His part of the tour was all about love, Ned and Ariel’s Cooke book as well was all the content Ariel was apart of and all the times she was vulnerable and honest about her relationship with Ned
I gave up on all my other scammer exposé/CZcams tea spill creators because your videos always encapsulate all the relevant information in the most transparent and ethical way 🎉 you da best
The thing is that they weren’t over reacting. If they kept going people would think they allowed this and they knew. Could completely ruin their views and lose their fans. As well ass it was a company affair they both worked for them and Ned was a co owner into this. I feel like they handled it correctly. And as friends too not knowing what was going on and finding it out from the internet, you’re worried about so many things as well as hurt. They spoke about it a couple times and they moved on.
The whole stay for the kids notion in marriage annoys me personally. Good on Ariel for staying with her marriage but the amount of trust Ned broke is unhealthy. Used to love Ned but can’t stand cheaters. I stopped watching them that’s on me. That is my moral high ground and I know that at the end of the day my opinion doesn’t matter. I don’t know the other girl but I feel bad for her fiancé.
2:05 They said in this interview that while their views spiked up for a little bit after the news about Ned broke and they addressed it on the channel, long term they saw a loss in subs and viewership when people who were only interested in the drama fell off
I found out about the Ned thing on yikyak, of all places. That’s how viral it was - it ended up on my small college’s yikyak before I managed to see it on twitter
If the situation was a Affair with any random person ned may have been still apart of the try guys. The big issue was that it was a employee and it was never told to the company till further into the relationship (tech never told but found out) so they could do the proper protocol to make sure it would not effect the company. Which in the end it did effect the company.
i think they still would drop him, especially since his image just consist of his wife. What kind of family friendly channel allow a guy who always brags about his wife suddenly cheat on her and ruined his image? Maybe their relationship as friends would continue once the camera is off but certainly not when camera is on.
@@jeanneann3545 it is a chance we can t know as that was not the situation, but as ned was part owner they may not of had the reason to spend the extra of thousands of dollars to go the route they did. Honestly if never came to light he slowly could of rebranded into not the wife guy. That being said he was my least favourite try guy so I m not crushed he is gone.
Just to let you know, at around 8:51 I think that they were referring to the podcast that they recorded about Zach’s wedding and not the Ned Fulmer scandal. I might be wrong but I just thought you’d might like to know. If I’m wrong then sorry, I love all of your videos❤😊.
Controversial opinion but they’re both to blame (Alex and Ned). Just because she’s a woman in this case doesn’t mean she didn’t also contribute to just as much of a downfall, and the pain that resulted in it. She wasn’t tricked or deceived, she was in videos too. She knew Ariel, she knew the business- not like he claimed he wasn’t married. Fully aware, fully to blame. Not defending Ned at all, he deserves the full brunt of everything he is getting and doesn’t deserve another chance with Ariel at all. But that’s her choice. Anyway I hate seeing Alex defenders when there’s literally no way she wasn’t also equally to blame.
Oh I fully blame both especially Alex. In fact in one podcast when they were talking about going to SNL they went to an after party. And Postmalone was there and she was trying to get him and pressure him to go to the strip club. But he kept saying no he had a girlfriend. If that’s not a red flag on her I don’t know what is.. lol
That’s not a controversial opinion lol she cheated on her fiancé of 10 years. That’s objectively a bad thing. And Ned has a portion of delusional people defending him (just refer to the SNL sketch), so I really don’t think it’s about gender.
I think her taking less blame has more to do with Ned being her boss and thus holding power over her than her being a woman. Not that i think she necessarily deserves less blame but Ned because I don’t think she was reluctant in her actions but having power over her employment is a factor to consider in this
@@gothicxromantic Really? I might be a bit delayed on what I’ve seen then/not keeping up cuz I saw nothing but blind Alex defending. Glad to know it’s not the case anymore!
@@kelseyreynolds8055 Oh I entirely agree, I’ve just seen (when this was first happening) a lot of that stance taken to specifically highlight she was free from blame due to that. As I mentioned in another respond though, this seems to have changed so I could be (happily) standing corrected!
To me the Scandoval cheating drama felt very similar to this just based on how many people on my twitter timeline were talking about it, but that was reality TV drama so it feels like a whole different world. If we're talking internet drama I don't think anything has come close since this tbh!
@@fanime1 Tom Sandoval (they called the whole drama Scandoval), he's on Vanderpump Rules and had a months long affair with the best friend of his girlfriend of 9 years. He acted like an a**hole afterwards too and didn't show a lot of remorse.
If Ned was fired because he was single and had an affair with an employee, SNL would have made a very different skit. They minimised how unethical and illegal the act was.
I think the reason people say they were “milking” it was because they had a LOT of footage that was prerecorded and they had to edit ned out. So they were still “references” ned for a while after the fact.
Love you Markie. I gotta say I found the snl skit funny low-key, certainly at the time I think I related more so with like, who are these people all of a sudden that everybody needs to know about it felt like. I understand it being of interest to their audience but this was everywhere when examples of cheating and betrayal are everywhere, it’s just a random selection of focus. Nothing good about what they go through but gotta be honest, and as I learned more from your videos definitely more enlightened.👍🏽
I think the SNL sketch was also like that because for television, a cheating scandal must be something so small, so common, not worthy of being talked about, only worthy of a shitty blog article and only worthy of a slap on the wrist and paid leave, not worthy of being fired. to them it must've been something so small that they truly believe it was an over reaction. Because they don't understand how important the relationship with the audience is. On the internet fans interact even with editors and producers that work off camera. The trust and image of who he is is broken
Rooster Teeth/Achievement Hunter/Funhaus definitely should take notes. As you said, addressing it was the best idea. Not addressing the toxicity is dumb
I really felt bad for the try guys except for ned obviously. The whole thing you could tell was painful for them to go through. Ned and Ariel are probably going through marriage counselling or mediation for a divorce either or which is why there quiet. They may be hoping it all quiets off. Great video markie xx
Not only did he cheat on his wife but imagine the girls life that he invaded? She says no, to her boss, possibly have repercussions at work … or get fired and lose $. Or, she says yes, and less repercussions happen, but the story gets out and then others who know about the show then go judge her … or call her names … Not just cheating. This is why you don’t touch people under you. How do you even know if they like you? Or are they just scared of what could occur by rejecting the advances? Not sexy.
Alexander a producer. That kept this affair after her fiance dumped her for creating on him with Ned. Alexander thus girl. That sat next to Ned wife & proceed to film.
SNL got it right. They were just worried Ned was gunna fuck their bitches too
Doesn't Ned have friends in SNL/SNL writing staff?
I think that also played into how awful it was
@@angrybidoof847 I believe he does, and it’s an old college friend too

It would be nice to get an interview with Alex's ex fiance as well if he's willing
As Ned and Alexandria, they can both stay off the internet and lay in the bed they made with their selfish decisions.
some men will not do business with men who cheat on their wives, bc if they will lie to their wives like that they will lie to you
Also, this isn't like finding out that Carol in HR was making out like with nightime security staff.
They were going to get hate no matter what because theyre content creators and people suck but they would have been seen as people that were okay with it had they not taken such a hard stance.
lets be real.. they got ridda him cuz they were worried Nate would fuck their bitches
i feel people claim them editing ned as an elephant and stuff was "milking it" when they had to put those videos up still and ned was so clearly there they can't edit around him any other way. i don't think them doing that was to milk it, it was because they had to still post those videos but couldn't cut him out in a normal way.
It wasn't milking it- they more so tried to laugh about it.
He was the *elephant* in the room
They even tried making puns in the openers like "will they spill the beans about (turkey gobbles)."
Also, the editors did AMAZING, and I appreciate all their hard work. They deserve praise for all the shizz they had to go through in terms of editing WaR.
@@kaelin_cherise yeah I just remember people were questioning the editing I agree with you. But I saw people questioning it.
Same, and I used to be huge fan
that and cuz they were a childs program suddenly about this ugly nerd cheating on his wife.. made it actually interesting. can confirm i stayed for 1 video 😂
Neds a sexual animal what did u want him to do? The man is like Magic Mike with the pole. They only fired him to save THEIR bitches
I watched the try guys from buzzfeed, I immediately went to their channel. I became a mom and watched Ned and Ariels videos on pregnancy and children and it made me feel so happy that i could relate to them like that. I've been watching them for years and years. Comfort channel for me, now. I grew up with these guys so I formed a big parasocial relationship with the Try Guys
I went through an engagement breakup, and I idealized Ned and Ariel, so it really was a huge shock to me. I watch them on and off now, but once I saw that stuff about Ned, I started binge watching, watching through ads, liking, commenting, etc, because I felt like I needed to give them that support.
But their channel is actually really great now, it's more mature in a way!
did they break up with you for being vegan?
i cant believe how long ago this happened now. still so sad for the other try guys. Ned totally deserved to be fired.
I would have sworn this happened earlier this year but September 2022? Time is meaningless
It is so easy to not be a cheating pos, so easy. 20 years married here
Sometimes I always wonder why do people like Ned who had it all choose to ruin it all by doing something so stupid as to cheat on his wife and to cheat with an employee.
He admitted to cheating on her on a BuzzFeed video even before he got popular on BuzzFeed and she forgave him anyway
Ned doesn’t know how lucky he is. Ariel could *end* him socially & economically if she was that kind of person. Can you imagine how big her return would be? Especially as Ned’s Ex
Right? I just don’t understand women who think they can change men. They cheated and disrespected and humiliated you why give them any more chances.

Don't forget Markie, cause you seem to have left it out. She was an employee but also engaged. Ned and her are both terrible people
He left it out because her relationship status isn’t relevant to why this was such a big problem.
@@alexshaw8167 uh no her relationship status was part of the problem, her having a fiance and cheating on him made it waaaay worse but whatever 🙄

Ned Fulmer is the WORSE! Thanks for the update!

I think the reason people say they were “milking” it was because they had a LOT of footage that was prerecorded and they had to edit ned out. So they were still “references” ned for a while after the fact.
Love you Markie. I understand it being of interest to their audience but this was everywhere when examples of cheating and betrayal are everywhere, it’s just a random selection of focus. Nothing good about what they go through but gotta be honest, and as I learned more from your videos definitely more enlightened.👍🏽
I didn’t get into their channel until the Ned situation occurred and I binged the shit out of their channel and love it now haha
😂 your take away being "who's that northern English guy butting in with his stupid accent??" Literally me anytime I hear my own recorded voice!
