A Dated Cape Cod Home Gets A Fresh Coastal Makeover

- From the outside, this adorable Cape Cod home gives no hint of its dark and disjointed interior, says designer Erin Feasby of Feasby and Bleeks Design. A new palette of soft blues and tongue-and-groove panelling instills coastal character. Applied ceiling beams with authentic heft make the most of an awkward peaked ceiling in the open-concept living room and dining area. The pale blue kitchen is opened up to the family room by interior windows, while space was stolen from a walk-in closet to make a bigger ensuite bathroom with a luxe marble shower.

This is a testament to the power of thoughtful design to breathe new life into even the most tired spaces.❤❤
The previous design was so dark and claustrophobic. The new design looks amazing.
Very well thought out, classy and chic, yet warm and comfortable.
Just lovely, light and livable.
The Master Bathroom was gorgeous ❤
Peaceful, fresh and beautiful. Love this transformation. Good choices. In 5 years it's going to be beautiful again.
I love the more traditional style of this renovation. It’s beautifully designed.
Beautiful home with great choices for ‘fixed’ pieces that can work with changes in fabric, paint etc over time. Well done 👍🏻
So lovely 😍 I love the light colors and every single built-in!!!😊😊😊😊
Wasn’t this already posted?
😮yes I saw it yesterday
There was a small mistake that required fixing. Sorry for any confusion!
I love it. I love traditional style the most.
Hopefully they’ll acquire a tasteful bold piece of art to go over that fireplace in the family room.
A beautiful renovation!
Stunning home.

قمة الأناقة والذوق
Deja Vu!
This is just stunning. Chin deep in a major reno and I wish I had seen this color palette. Picking the right soft whites has been the hardest part of the whole process. Really beautiful job!
warm and comfortable
love Sherwin Williams paint colors
The bathroom is beautiful
Oooooo i like the blue
Very beautiful 👍
wonderful!
Such an excellent job making the interior compatible with the exterior.
Love all the built ins & colors with exception to the master bedroom which seemed somewhat boring but the master bath was lovely.
White 와 Green,Gold 의 칼라 조화가 깔끔하고 아늑한 느낌이 들어 맘에 드네요~
Very Nice ~👍😍
Nice work.
Bathroom is so economical. Pieces of tiles here there. Just go all over.
Lovely with a Capital L!!💙
How much would a renovation like this cost?
Pleasant spaces. The angled Tv in the family room is quite strange and imposing. When will people stop trying to fit TVs above fireplaces? I’m sure there are a lot of new chiropractic patients out there with neck strain issues.
How much for interior designer and construction? $450k+?
I think Nimbus from Benjamin Moore is better choice for cabinets. We are in love with Nimbus!
Just repainted. 😊
If no wallpaper then there is no design. Very committed to wallpaper.
Why the re-post?
There was a small mistake that required fixing. Sorry for any confusion!
@@houseandhome can you fix her vocal fry?
I agree that the previous colors were dark, but I’m disappointed that the only color that was included in the revamp is blue. So not interesting.
I love kitchen the vent hood not so much 🤦🏾♀️
Stove hood looks like a coffin
🤣🤭🤣
GREAT kitchen wall paper, and thanks for NOT having match roman shades in there as well. Most people think it a big plus when the drapes match the wall paper, to me, it just clashes. Pattern on walls, is completely different than the same pattern on the pleated drapes. ONE has to go. That pattern on the roman shades completely flatters the wall paper.
I do not like the exhaust fan to dominate the kitchen, this makes NO sense. Why make the exhaust the focal point of the room? I don't understand, I would make it as close to the upper cabinets as possible.
Here the seating area should be the first thing you see and be the focal point.
This house will age well, it is more light colonial than coastal. Props also for making all the rooms look unified. Please tell me that those "candle Chandeliers''" bulbs at least flicker. Plastic electric candles look really bad in a fixture that is so simple.
Where is the kitchen wallpaper? Coul you please tell at which time you are referring to?
@@ChocolateKitty864I meant bathroom, the one she shows.
Ohh do you mean the dressing area next to the ensuite bathroom? Yes you are right, choosing a different wall paper and curtains does look better.
Another coffin as a hood over the stove.
🤣🤭🤣
Furniture store
It's a cluttered place with an obsession for storage. It's Cupboard showroom. What a pity it's completely full of frippery.
I don’t know but all these houses seem to have the same style
How to kill all character the house had
IDK it's too perfect. Where is the soul? Everything is too bright beige and grey....yawn. I do love the Master and the kitchen is nice as well. Maybe add some antiques and family photos and collectables. Will help get rid of that model home look.
Looks like everything else that has been posted over the past two years
It looks too crowded and cluttered for my taste.
