ive just listened to the aerial album for the umpteenth time,and ive bought many great albums in my life ie led zep,the stones, the eagles etc ,but ive never bought an album that moves me like aerial. im a so called macho builder but i feel like a child when i listen to it, its brilliant
if i could have one wish before i die,it would be to see kate,her band and an orchestra play the whole of the AERIAL album in the ALBERT HALL,i know it would need some backing tracks ie the birds singing etc,but what a priviledge for kate and her fans.

This video had been here forever! I watched this before buying the CD. I was broke and couldn't buy it right away. I really wanted to buy it on the day of release but was too far overdrawn. I watch youtube videos to get a preview (pre-hear) and this video was such a memorable one! Thankyou!!

KateFan: Kate is difficult? I just thought I was weird. Kate Bush is the most amazing beautiful creature in the form of a human being or performer I've ever seen. I'm not sure what I was converted to but I was converted to something the first time I heard that absolutely gorgeous spirited hyperbolic voice. She is like some kind of Siren. If I heard her singing off in the crags and I was an Argonaut I'd jumped in and swam for sure!
I hope that Kate has seen this. I love the mix of her music in the background and the breathtaking performance on the screen. I always watch it to cheer myself up.

Wow! - What an interpretation of music - Bravo to Cirque du Soleil and Varekai - the honours must go though to the beautiful Kate Bush! I just hope she's not lost the looks I adored as a teenager back in 1985! She was beautiful back then and I can only hope some of that beauty has carried forward to now.
You have to read what her other songs say on this album, it's a puzzle. You have to figure it out. It's crazy. It's beautiful, this is my favorite album and GENIUS WORK!
I'm a Kate fan of long staning and I love this album, particularly the 'Sky of Honey' cd. Initially sceptical as it wasn't a typical Kate album ,if there is such a thing now I find I play it constantly. It's the first album ever of hers where she seduces with sound and texture rather than lyrics. It's a wholly sensual, sensory experience.This album is found through feeling rather than words.A quiet reinvention rather than the trumpeted remakes of other less artists. You know who you are!
this video has almost everything in it that a girl like me possibly love.. two hot guys, Cirque du Soleil, beautiful acrobatics, flying and a Kate Bush soundtrack.. great job!!

The title song from Aerial is the last song on the second disc of the album. What strikes me is that is the way that the guitar work is allowed to break out towards the end of this song in an album in which guitars are generally either non-existent ot quite muted in sound. It is such a compelling contrast that it must have been deliberate. The laughter reminds me of madcap songs like 'Sat in your lap' and 'Rocket's Tail'.

I love aerial, its a masterpiece of progressive new wave music, i wood like to see Kate work with brian eno, wood be amazing but this album is great like it is.
@childofiona I couldn't agree more. When Aerial was released, I really liked it. Now however, after 6 years I utterly adore it. Sky of Honey was always my favourite disc but now I would add Joanni and A Coral Room to that, beautiful songs from Kate. I still listen to the 9th wave too.....off to become panoramic :-)
Shame that the album was so weak.. I appreciate the percussion/drums on it (known through a friend, as an excellent drummer..)The lyrics and tunes are just nowhere the impact as the '70's.. She ruled those years... I am still and always will be, in love with Kate Bush..

She's a very special talent;and isn't it sad that today's culture favours overtly ambitious, crass commercial business singers, such as Madonna: who couldn't perform a ballet step, or sing a truly accurate beautiful note, even with all the help, of all the great musicians and dancers in the world. Kate is genuine talent. But today,sadly,most people don't have the basic educational references to even understand that concept.
