About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

I remember those old NYC elevators still operating in the 1970's. They were spacious with elegant oak paneling and there was no feeling of claustrophobia in a cold metal box like today.
It's indeed surprising, that Roscoe Lee Browne never became a semi-regular, or got his own spinoff series, as his chemistry with O'Connor, was superb.
yes, he was excellent.
He is always BOX from Logan's Run to me and also narrator of Star Wars on audio tape...he was so underrated.
@@brianwolters7560He apparently disdained playing stereotypical black roles, when he started his career
@@ShannonFreng He was so underappreciated for sure.
Why did they choose him to be in so many different programs of all the family. Seems like there weren’t that many actors in Hollywood.
I see Cartman with every word Archie speaks. This is one of my favorite scenes. Thank you for sharing it.
Carroll played Archie so well. Blue collar worker. Called Mr Thompson a colored guy. Lmao
I crack up every time Archie calls Carlos Peedro😂😂😂😂
Can't get any better than who's who in this episode like Hector Elizondo and Roscoe Lee Browne.
And Eileen Brennan
And don't forget Eileen Burstyn.
@@cherylclair I'm glad ya'll know the names of the character actors/actresses. Some very talented people there.
Eileen Brennan, not Ellen Burstyn.@@cherylclair
Hector elizondo is truly great ... tortilla soup is a goto movie.
That delivery! "Why? Is it a FUNNY name?"
That is actually a star-studded elevator. Carroll O' Connor, Hector Elizondo, Roscoe Brown and Eileen Brennan. Very impressive!
I love the mix of people in the elevator like on Gilligan's Island.😂
Roscoe Lee Browne is awesome. Love that dude.
He was the cook that John Wayne had for the cattle drive in the movie “THE COWBOYS”.
"I hand out more in tips than you pay in taxes" haha
A young Eileen Brennan before her later big success with Private Benjamin and a best supporting actress Oscar nomination and follow up TV series.
"Peedro" lol 🙂
Good thing that Archie was there. He helped a lot during the birth
Yes he had the Daily News. Mr Thompson would have the Times or WSJ..lol
Menourity...😂😂😂
I love the interplay between 'Hubert Thompson' and 'Archie Bunker' in this episode:
Archie: "I was in the Air Corps, and we only saw guys like you digging latrines."
Thompson: "Well I was an officer in Intelligence and I didn't see guys like you at all!"
Archie if your wife is thinking about having a baby here you tell her to forget it😆
Holdo! Stopo! Soooooooooo funny!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Eileen Brennan is a talented actress.
Eileen Brennan, also
Forgot about her
The black guy was also in the hospital room with Archie once
Jean Duval
@@2009korz pronounced like "John". Archie had no idea he was black. lol
Yes , Browne was born in New Jersey.
I just saw this episode last week on Catchy Comedy. Regular tv (no cable). Channel 13.5 near Sacramento California.
Funny episode.
My favorite episode.
This is the best episode
Hey, Peeedro... 😂
OMG that's funny‼️😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s shame 😢the Episodes aren’t in ORDER 😢😢I really became addicted to this comedy sitcom 👍🇬🇧😍✌️ thanks anyways for the upload
Great TV! 😂 I didn't know that was Capt. Lewis from Private Benjamin! 😅
For those who don’t know, Larchmont is a very rich area in upstate NY, the opposite of Queens, a working class place where Archie lives.
Eileen Brennan, as Captain Lewis, from saving Private Benjamin, I thought I knew her face from somewhere?
An all in the family type show but with hispanics woulda been funny as hell too.
This is television…
I recognize that one lady from an episode of the Monkees. She was playing - get this - an actress that was pretending to be suicidal. Someone here will know her name. I recognize one of the men, too - I think he's the same guy that was in the hospital with Archie, a French man, and Archie was being real friendly with him...until he saw the French man was "colored".
Eileen Brennan? She wasn't in The Monkees, though.
@@user-zr6pl6nb6z I don't know the lady's name, but she played an actress who was pretending to be suicidal, "oh, I can't go on" and one of the Monkees thought she was really going to kill herself. I'll have to dig that tape out again and refresh my memory.
@@ronfowlermusic Look up the episode "Monkees on the Line". Is that the one?
@@user-zr6pl6nb6z yeah, that's the one!
Did they only have a handful of actors to do the show back in the day ?the same black guy is on all sorts of different episodes as a different person!😮 I remember when this was actually on in the 70s
What is the black guys real name
Roscoe Lee Browne.
@@ShannonFreng thank you
@@paulawerchowsky926No problem.
@@ShannonFreng he was the Frenchman in another ep.
@@ronfowlermusicAye.
I liked All In The Family episodes where Archie got to interact with characters besides his family because then we got to see a different side of him at times.
