I think one of the issues is that you're not showing your products as much on your channel anymore (swatches, tutorials, etc.). Would love to hear you talk about formulation and what sets your products apart from the rest. There also haven't been any new launches, but I understand because it takes money to develop a new one. Maybe consider taking us into behind the scenes to make it into a mini CZcams series one day? Saying it all out of love ❤.
yeah rough balance when people used to give me so much shit for promoting my brand, ive almost been conditioned to not do it over the past like 7 years or so haha i need to just not care again bc i love my products so much. yeah costs a lot! we have a couple smaller launches coming and a collab as well which is super exciting!
I agree, said the same myself a few months ago. I really wish you’d do like 4/5 looks for each palette to show us the versatility to inspire us. It almost feels like a gap as a customer in the service, respectfully. I see the videos as an ‘instruction manual’ akin to if you bought an appliance with limited instructions.
So long as you don’t go to Jaclyn Hill morphe level pimping, then people have no right to complain (and probably aren’t true supporters?).

I just saw on IG showing frustrated parents with their toddler having a hard day and it said to close your eyes for a second and imagine you being 80 years and remembering how little they are and wishing you had them back to that toddler age again…might help? It’s hard they are too young to understand nutrition and I know many who have toddlers that do not want to eat much …try using cookie cutters and make stars or something out of a sandwich or try to make a game of putting grapes or something under cups and make it fun to win and eat the “prize” …. It’s tough and tiring at times but also the best thing ever! As long as he is happy playing I would not worry about a “mess” it doesn’t matter he is learning and growing and developing perfectly!! Definitely enjoy seeing your vlogs again! I’m certain you’ll find a perfect spot for XO and as others have said start sharing your amazing products again! I also agree to not worry about the negative comments they are not likely the ones purchasing anyway😊

Aww, Porter is adorable! Hopefully he'll start wanting to eat things you make again. I don't have kids but my parent friends have all been through some form of this and it usually wound up just being a phase they had to slog through. Definitely seems stressful wanting your little dude to get enough nutrients when he doesn't want to eat. 💜

I got one removed in christchurch at molemap cost $700 and was painless took 15 mins they numb the area with injections like at the dentists then just cut it out and stitch it back up , 2 weeks later get stitches removed for free
Aww, don't give up on family dinners with Porter. We were the same..it's hard and really frustrating. If daycare give him awsome meals, don't stress too much over his dinner. Or get him some vita gummies 😊. I got my boy some ❤❤❤

My 2.5 yr old is also pretty fussy (but eats fish curry at daycare 🙃) and honestly I stopped offering him alternatives and I’ve definitely seen improvements. He never complains he is hungry and doesn’t wake up in the night so I just assume if he is hungry he will eat it. He’s the same with the beige food preference but I just stand my ground and tell him he doesn’t have to eat it but there’s nothing else available. If I offered him a piece of bread or cracker he would just take the piss and do it every night haha tonight he actually had a few mouthfuls of a pumpkin risotto I made! So definitely progress!
My grand daughter used to eat everything...mum and dad are very clean eaters ...she is now 20 month and going through a picky phase...mum still puts her dinner out and if she doesn't eat it she will have some fruit and greek yogurt before bed. You cant send them to bed hungry but don't let them manipulate you into becoming a chicken nugget kid🤣🤣. Always provide a healthy option and hopefully it will pass 💛💛
I also had to have a mole removed after pregnancy (2 years ago) I remember going to my primary doctor because I was worried about them growing! It’s wild!

I wonder if making a few PR packages for some influencers to introduce the brand to new viewers would help. Also, i think doing full makeup looks with your products would be good. Maybe once a month and in different methods, like tik tok one month, insta the next, so and so forth.
Food advice for kids: platters! They love options and variety. When my kids don’t want lunch or dinner I do chopped up fruits, cheese, deli meats and crackers they eat them all the time. Give it a try.
Yesss! I do this with my kids specially in summer when I'm too hot to cook lol. Chicken nibbles, boiled egg, crackers, chopped carrots.. always a hit 😂

Make you a plate of food and Porter will definitely want it 😂 i had a very picky toddler but he ate pretty much everything at daycare. I just offered him him what we ate, or if i knew for sure he wouldn't eat it, i would make him a quick go-to meal. Sometimes too many choices are just as bad as no choices. I would never send a toddler to bed hungry. I remember my parents doing that.

With you on the picky eating, my 4 year old is still fussy. She was a great eater until 1 then got very fussy. She eats all sorts of things at daycare, make the same thing at home, refuses. Its meant to eventually get better but it freaking sucks. I've lost all motivation to make anything new

Babe the mess will only get worse. Mum of 3 kids and two cats here. I used to be such a clean freak before kids and each kid I’ve cared less and less about the house. In saying that I do have a daily cleaning routine that I always do like: cordless vacuuming, dishes and beds. But things like bathrooms mopping dusting etc go weeks now. There is no point obsessing over it cause kids and animals are so damn messy and you will just get angry all the time trying to keep the place spotless. What annoys me the most are the dirty walls! I really need to get a flat mop and clean them but cbf 😵💫 also my carpets are filthy and need a good clean. Try keep on top of walls and carpets that’s my advice or they get like mine are and then it’s a huge job

This third pregnancy I swear has made me so hideous!! My hair is so damn frizzy and I feel like I’ve aged 10 years. Also I had to have a molar removed which was so hideous and now I have a huge gap and can’t chew on that side… Not to mention stretch marks everywhere
Have you looked into ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) for Porter? I’m not necessarily saying he has it but no harm in looking into it! I have it - it’s an eating disorder that isn’t well known (I know, the term “eating disorder” is scary especially for a toddler!). Obviously I only know what you shared in this video about his eating but it’s better to catch these things early. Although it could very easily be regular fussy eating and he may certainly grow out of it 🤞. I’m 31 and have been a “picky eater” my entire life. It wasn’t until recently that I even heard of ARFID, then soon after was diagnosed. I have a strong aversion to certain/most types of foods and will not nor cannot get myself to try new foods. Nothing anybody does or says will get me to eat it. We have “safe foods” that we tend to stick with. There are many things that can help ease the anxiety and stress for us while eating - who/what/where/when/why/how. For example, when I was a child I hated eating meals at a table because I felt everyone was looking at me, judging me, and watching what I do. I was more comfortable eating alone, or with others but watching tv, in the car, etc. This is just one little example. There’s much more that goes into it but I’ll keep at that for now. Again, I’m not saying that he does have this, nor am I wanting to cause shame or worry. I just want to shed some light for others that may benefit from this knowledge! Xo

I think XO Beauty was well known with the CZcams beauty influencers, but seems like there is a whole new generation with the short form and may be a way to get some exposure to different viewers. 🤷♀️ Was just a thought

Regarding the downturn in sales, I think a part of it could be due to the fact that there were no vlogs for a while (totally understandable! You had a baby and that will always be the most important job.) I think uploading more consistently (as you have been) will help because it will make viewers engage with you more and peak their interest again. I am only assuming but I imagine most buyers of your products are people who know about you from your content. Hope that makes sense. It sounded a lot clearer in my head 😂 💓

-I’ve worked in daycares for many years and I’ve had so many conversations with parents about their child’s eating habits where they claim the kid only eats such and such foods but we see that they’ll eat pretty much anything 😅 I think it’s almost a dominance thing where the child is in some ways “the boss” at home (at least in their minds) and so they make higher demands, but in daycare they are equals with other children and “under the rule” of the workers 😂 I don’t think anyone is to blame for this, in some instances parents do give in a bit to easily, but I’m definitely very against sending them to bed hungry. Hope I don’t offend anyone that is not my intention ❤️
