I think it would be a pretty solid setup if you used a pro controller and some sort of stand that could attach to the back. Using it like a handheld would not be viable though.

@@TomAnderson7 it’s not, there’s the cutouts for the ones on the back and i may have missed it, but the major vent is the one up top, which I see no breathing room for.
Pay attention and it has air intakes on the bottom and exhaust on the top.
This can be worrisome since the joy cons are only held in place by a pin on the switch so the extra weight concerns me that it would put extra strain on something that shears easily so u don't damage the switch
Not to mention how hard it would be to hold something that unwieldy for any extended period of time, especially when holding it solely by the tiny joycons.
Imagine solving a problem you never had and then create even more problems that wouldn’t happen if the solution for the nonexistent problem wasn’t there

Man.. The Dock really did a number on your Switch.
Even with the vent holes, as hot as the Switch gets, I don’t see how this can be one bit good for it, being closed up inside that thing, which is putting off its own heat as well.
If you don't mind a tiny amount of lag, the Genki Shadowcast is a more cost effective way of getting a bigger, portable screen for your switch, PlayStation, Xbox, etc. I use it for RPGs and turn based games.

A few months before the switch was released back in 2017 I had a dream about getting/ having a switch of my own, but I for some reason had gotten two switches but one was much bigger than the other and the controllers were small and didn't quite fit the sides, but I reasoned that the bigger size of the console was for a bigger screen size like a magnifying lens.
