Will you do a video about your own experience with ayahuasca?
I had a psychedelic experience once that sent me to eternity and meeting the creator. My ego dissolved yet I was physically terrified. It was so magical and so full of love, changed my life for good. In the most positive way possible.
Everybody is struggling with mental health and could benefit from careful therapeutic use of substances like these. Wanna try, but keep being told I can't do it alone for the first time.
I do respect and believe in psychedelics as treatment, yet I’m reluctant about using them personally. Not sure about how “good” it may do to someone
dr.martyshroom is your guy. Got all kinds of psychedelics stuff. Guided me through my first ever experience
Since I tired psychedelics for the first time, I’ve been trying to describe the experience to others so there can try it as well, but i couldn’t find the right words to describe it.
I find it funny if there's any psychedelic therapy there online
I love how lex gets more sweaty with every upload
lol he seems high too and with that stubble and deep conversations under a candlelight in a rainforest sounds like my dream date 😂 really no joke.

Aya is strong medicine. It's a bit like going into the ocean getting caught in a riptide...the more you fight, the worse it gets. You just have to trust that whatever your momma Aya is doing to you is exactly what you need to be cleaned.
I’ve participated in 8 ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru. In the first ceremony, I was so scared I was nearly panicking, but after that rough start, I got nothing but great benefits in terms of a better understanding of myself and a more open heart. That said, ayahuasca is definitely not for everyone because it’s extremely powerful.
Lemme suggest a mycologist whose trip will blow your mind they have a lot of psychedelic products like ( LSD,XTC, MOLLY, EDIBLES, MUSHROOMS, LEAN ) their products is top class

8?? bro your brain is cooked
I've been so lucky in my life to have been invited to learn amazonian medicine from the shipibo people of the Peruvian amazon. It's been the greatest adventure and very terrifying, beautiful, often leaving me in awe for days on end. Not only the power of the medicine "uni" which we know as ayahuasca but the many tremendous and powerful trees that exist to teach and heal like Ayahuma, Noya Rao, Shihuahaco, Ajo Skiro, and many more. The fact that we cut these down and turn some of them into hardwood floors to walk on is so insane once you are given the opportunity to assimilate these powerful spirits into your own body. It's a crazy universe out there.

Great explanation about an aya journey guiding you through undiscovered rooms. Spot on.
It might be too much to handle. That's always been my fear of Ayahuasca. Idk, peeling back that curtain seems terrifying.
The thing with ayahuasca is this:
In a sense it's often "too much to handle" - but then once you let go and open up and start to just go with it and let it take you and show you where/what it wants then you realize that you're fine.
The fear slowly dissipates.
That being said, I genuinely believe that it won't give you more than what you can handle but you can generally handle a lot more than your (and my) "narrow psyche" wants to or believes it can.
By definition the EXPANSION of consciousness means going beyond the boundaries of where we are comfortable.
Edit:
Ayahuasca has been the single most meaningful thing in my entire life.
(I have not had kids)
I know im a terrible person. I dont need a whole night of a reminder. Had enough of that between my dad and the salvia.
My fear as well. I’ve been through some trauma in my life (like we all probably have)…I’m kinda afraid of what my mind has hidden from me…for my own good.
@@Humanaut. Hey, I just have to say. I really appreciate the time you put in to give your perspective. It's little things like this that makes me remember that we're all more similar than we are different. Thanks for the insight. I do have kids and I cannot imagine anything more terrifying yet absolutely beautiful, than it. That could be my biggest fear to be honest. The potential failure of raising my kids.
@@jingalls9142oof. Rough but honest. Respect for that
MAOI containing plants have an effect on their own so i imagine they would have been experimenting with those first off and then would have put some chacruna leaves in their brew one day and gained the dmt effects. Not everything unlikely has to be explained away through myths, extremely unlikely things happen every day.
Very true. Think about how many hallucinogenic plant combos are currently undiscovered
Firstly they likely experimented with the ayahuasca vine, maybe after seeing how animals, for example the jaguar, responds after eating it. You can see that on CZcams.
Then they must have realised that it enhances effects of other plants.
I believe that as chacruna was already known as a medicine on its own (eye drops from its juice for migraines) - they intuited that they might make a more effective medicine by combining it with yagé.
How’s that theory? It’s just mine as far as I know :)
What a blessed soul!
Actually you could take aya vine and eat a salad, or banana, or most plants and it would get you high. So if you took the vine, you could try different leaves and feel how much DMT was in them. This was explained by a shaman in Aubrey Marcus podcast.
The great spirit showed us how to make ayahuasca and many other medicines. She showed us through psilocybin. We are disconnected now
is it the same spirit who showed us how to make bread? cheese? pastries?
Many say it was mapacho who told natives how to make ayahuasca.
Looking forward to all the peeps experiencing Aya *happy travels*
i cant wait to hear your testimony my friend. DMT is the most fascinating experience beyond any possible imagination. much love man i hope you have a fantastic experience my brother
I can definitely relate because I have had a crazy trip like Paul is touching on with my experience on salvia.
How long does the salvia trip last?
@@theotormondepends on which route you take. smoking is like 10 minutes. chewing is hours but milder and more controllable/manageable depending on dose.

Probably not, but I still think a psychedelic experience is very valuable. But I think if you are in a bad place mentally you might have a bad trip.

I really think mushroom can help
The discovery of ayahuasca is often credited to the deep ethnobotanical knowledge of indigenous peoples, passed down through generations. They had a profound understanding of the medicinal properties of plants, which likely guided them to experiment with specific combinations. Considering there are an estimated 10.24 billion possible plant combinations in the Amazon rainforest, the probability of stumbling upon ayahuasca by random chance is extraordinarily low. Many of these combinations are still undiscovered, and even with their advanced knowledge, indigenous peoples would have tested only a small fraction of the possibilities.
While the discovery of ayahuasca is indeed remarkable, it’s just one tiny piece of the vast potential hidden within the Amazon’s biodiversity. So, while it seems almost miraculous, ayahuasca is merely one of 10.24 billion other possibilities for mind-transformative substances found in the Amazon rainforest.
Lex is in his Heart of Darkness Stage.
I don't agree with Paul with his take on the probability of discovering ayahuasca.
The human species at some point had to have tried all sorts of herbs and plants to find a edible food source. Once someone discovers that mushrooms are edible, I'm sure everyone was rushing out to experiment all sorts of things. Soups were a major source of food, it was a very efficient way to take very little and feed many.
Just take our aviation journey as an example, we as humans managed to commercialize air travel and even got into space all within a century. We wouldn't require millions or even thousands of years!
We discovered antibiotics! That's more improbable than stumbling on Ayahuasca.
Makes sense actually

im all for giving credit where it is due on a spiritual level, but it doesn’t seem that much of a stretch that the indigenous folks could find these substances on their own. they were constantly experimenting and discovering new things. they had to know what was around them as a matter of survival.

I'm going to keep watching the rest of this, but had to stop when Paul said ayahuasca is made from a tree and a root. Really? A root? Ayahuasca is made from chacruna leaves, and a vine, called "banisteriopsis caapi". It's a little hard to take this seriously when basic facts are totally wrong.

This guy is full of it.
It’s a shame how commercialized Ayahuasca has become. You go to a place like Cusco, Perú and you’re essentially tripping (no pun intended) over “Shamans” in the streets. Most of them are just drugged out Bolivians looking to take advantage of gringas. Here in Colombia, it’s called Yage and it’s becoming hip and cool to do it in places like Medellin or even Popayan.
Maybe that’s what the Bible meant when it said they ate fruit from the forbidden tree
Excellent observation, that really got me thinking .Thankyou! My brain is processing that in an oddly satisfying manner.
@@Mavis6868 Well I posted about the subject on Facebook and when you think about it, during the biblical times we were all one landmass -so the garden of Eden most likely could’ve been in the area where the ayahusca was because think about it, the Bible was written so long ago that the odds are incredible that they knew at the time you could take plants to expand your consciousness and take something that makes you more self-aware . That is certain plant gave you knowledge rather than drunken illusions.
I think there is a bit of a cultural supremacy built around ayahuasca in particular. A lot of emphasis put on the "unlikelihood" of inhibitor and 5-MeO being paired randomly in a medicine that takes us to a different plane that is somehow seen as above the physical when in reality the credit shouldn't go to some abstruse higher power it should be on human ingenuity to plan long term experiment with our raw perceptions in the absence of modern day technologies and theories to enhance them, and the glory of our capacity to hold together the world into a sensical story when experiences on heavy psychedelics are as objectively true to the intoxicated observer as sober reality is to the bystander. It is amazing, but more "synthetic" methods of creating compounds to achieve similar states should not be seen as inherently inferior just because there is not a rich ethnobotanical story and ongoing mystery to accompany its discovery.
Go talk to yourself in the mirror
It’s because these people figured it out without any knowledge of chemistry. Of course now we can synthetically create the active compounds like you are mentioning, but the fact that humans figured ayahuasca out with nothing is amazing. Thats where the mystery and amazement comes from…
Aya, made with chacruna or chaliponga, contains N,N-DMT not 5-MeO-DMT. Big difference.
