I once met a guy at the gym that told me he was a doctor, specializing in treating patients with Asperger's syndrome...he sounded very convincing, gave me his number, and when I got home I googled it. It was a number to a small handyman business. Would I mind dating a blue collar guy? Absolutely not (especially one that's good at fixing things). But a man that lies to me right from the start? No way, makes me wonder what else he's lying about. I quickly lost his number.

We make assumptions and never further analyze what the person is saying because we do not want to come off as intrusive, or we know the guy is not right for us from day one but we still end up trying for nothing. If a man is older than you and you think he is going to change are you are going to change him, you better keep it rolling because a lot of older men are already set in his ways. At the end of the day, the Bible speaks about being of "unequal yolk" as well as "by the sweat of your brow, you shll eat bread". Obviously he wants to eat the bread she has been toiling to make.
