i feel like this should just be included with the pedals and shouldn't be an addon
moza mini maxing. giving you almost everything you need then selling you the extras for $100+
@@YoodielandExplorerit’s $29 but sure
@@Dm8nd
Clutch kit: 59
Performance brake kit: 29
So yes, 100
@@Motorsporteiros Almost the same in the EU. Clutch is 45-, brake mod 50-.
moza has really entered the budget direct drive market
I've seen a video recently where the author discuss the validity of those short brake travels, using Lando Norris's pedal footage from the race at Silverstone this year to show that Formula 1 cars have a rather lengthy brake pedal travel. I think that's a case of trying to achieve a better feel for the type of car you'll drive the most: shorter travels for GT cars, longer for Formula cars; but, in the end, it all actually boils down to what is your preferred brake pedal feel.
Keep in mind irl cars can have long travel and still be hard. Not so much in our rigs
Thanks for the review! Should I change pedal settings in Pit House if the kit is installed? Or keep it linear?
Do I need to remove the spring from the brake pedal before installing the yellow mod on it ? Will it be too brick ?
This is cool
Is that actually a damper? It just looks like an elastomer to me, rather than a damper (which would provide a resistive force proportional to the speed of the pedal's movement, rather than its position)
🤣🤣🤣It is the same as using a load cell, I speak from experience... 5 years ago I made an aluminum pedalboard with parts of 2 pedalboards and a LeoBodnar plate, I put 3 Hall sensors and a load cell, the 60kg cell It was damaged quickly, I took the cell out of the brake and connected the Hall sensor and I did not notice the difference... a little grease every year and luxury, there are fortuitous discoveries that open your mind, in my case it was like that, by wanting playing while the spare part arrived, I discovered that they sell us a lot of useless and expensive marketing, the simplest is the best... The Chinese are clear about it, and so am I, my Moza r9, since June it's been perfect
It might have felt the same with the pedal travel and firmness that you were using, but that's definitely not the case if you like a very stiff brake pedal. If there's barely any travel, you won't have the fine detail when almost max travel, where a load cell can read the pressure change.
@@DeltaInsanityWell, yes, you are right, if the path is short it will have less definition, but objectively it is the same as the load cell, a potentiometer, Hall meter and the load cell are analog tools, so it all depends on the transformation interface, if you have a digital card with many steps, in digital The final result will not matter, put what you put... Try it and you will be convinced.
@@JoseFcoBN I think you are right. The hook laws says F = kx (where K in Hook constant). From this we see that force in proportional to offset F ~ x . Thus you can say from it, that reading force (load cell) is same as reading angle (from offset x) since these values are proportional to each other. I'm not expert at sim racing so take it with grain of salt
can you make the spring stronger?
this would be neat if it was actually for sale. so sick and tired of literally everything in the world being out of stock for 2 years now. I swear if I see another preorder link I am going to go postal.
thx for the information, btw i want to ask about something. so, i want to make a wheel. i am confused about what part of the wheel that connect to the wheel bases or whatever that thing is, can you tell me what is the name of the thing that connect to the wheel and wheel bases?
Quick release?
Have you tried to install this kit onto clutch pedal (to get more realistic clutch feel)?
A clutch feels nothing like this
I just bought a used R5 bundle which had the brake mod pre installed. I'm only using the wheel and pedals at my desk, and the brake is so still that the pedals are constantly tipping up and it's absolutely killing my ankle as well. I don't have the space or money right now for a proper sim rig, so feel like I'm going to have to uninstall the mod for now.
Look for a metal pedal base. I use one that has a bar where my chair legs go into. Helps hold everything down
Omg they sell these only as bundle together with the DD and steering wheel? Why?
You can purchase it on its own too
