In this CZcams Shorts episode of In The Kitchen With Matt, I show you how to make microwave popcorn in a paper bag. Popcorn is so simple to make in the microwave using a brown paper lunch bag. All you need are just a few ingredients, and within 3 minutes you are eating some delicious homemade popcorn without using a popcorn popper. If I can do it, you can do it! Let's get started!

I think the thing I love the most about this video is how you have a child like excitement when making the popcorn and shaking the bag. It makes it super wholesome.
Thank you, Ben! I do love my popcorn haha :) Always, have, ever since I was little.
This is my absolute favorite snack! Mmmmmm
Awesome!
It came out perfectly! Thank you!
Awesome! You are very welcome!
I love using ghee. It gives the popcorn a wonderful nutty flavor
Yummy!
Interesting timing--I'm sitting here eating popcorn. Will definitely try this paper bag method soon since I have a tendency to eat popcorn for breakfast. LOL
lol awesome!! :)
Yummy yummy to my tummy 😋
Thank you, Daisy!! :)
@@inthekitchenwithmatt you are welcome and please keep me in your prayers because on January 12 my fiance' passed away
@@daisyrochelle5656 Oh no, so sorry to hear that. I definitely will.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt thank you for praying for me
@@daisyrochelle5656 You are welcome!
genuine question, why couldn't you put the butter in before you microwaved it? does it enhance the flavor if you add it in after?
The butter will completely saturate the bag. But you can always try it if you like. :) Great question!
@@inthekitchenwithmatt ahh i see
@@sooobrangdan One thing you could do is take like a square piece of parchment paper and line the bottom of the paper bag, just make sure it folds up the sides of the bag, then it would work great, and wouldn't saturate as much. :) It would be an extra step, but worth trying if you wanted to put the butter in the bag while popping the kernels.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt thanks for the advice!! will def be trying
@@sooobrangdan You are very welcome! :)
So White! :)
:) :) Yeah I used white kernels instead of yellow ones. :)
Why the brown paper bag? Why not a bowl?
The brown paper bag works better and imitates the microwave popcorn from the store which comes in bags.
Your tone of voice and appearance really freaks me out bro, like why do you look and sound so happy it's weird.
Someone being happy, freaks you out? Not that is weird!
what....
