Oh but the nostalgia of it all. More than 10yrs later, I still remember this Gold Reef City Anaconda ride experience as if it was just the other day. The most of the pictures collected afterward never saw the light of day as most members of my family (but myself, obviously) never liked them and felt really embarrassed because of the way they looked while screaming out of fear during the ride. For me, definitely this was one of my best 🇿🇦JHB holidays experiences by far.

I take my boys there for all the rides and I just watch this thing. Man I feel like this video does not do justice. It's fast and listening to the sound from the ground, I am still to meet a woman that makes me feel like I do when I hear that sound

I hate this ride I always have my eyes close and it feels like I'm going to die, weirdly enough always sat at the front last time we went we sat at the back and it was worse in the back felt like the ride was faster than usual, the golden loop is just as terrible

I don’t understand the overlay. It says G, which to me means g forces. 1 g is the your own weight, as it’s the normal acceleration due to gravity. When you’re sitting in a chair you aren’t at 0 g. You’re at 1 g. And yet in this video that almost never goes even to 1 g which makes zero sense. And then there are times where the coaster is moving pretty fast and it says 8 kph. That’s like 4 mph. I can walk faster than that. The POV is cool but the data overlay seems extremely unreliable unless you meant for those abbreviations to mean something they don’t usually mean in physics.
Calm down, it's a GoPro, not a precision physics device. The data frequency is obviously too low. And it's RELATIVE g-force, as opposed to ABSOLUTE. Same story with pressure gauges.
