I've had mine for a year and a half and have no complaints, don't forget to change your fluid and if you are using hard water and it sits use a flat blade screwdriver to turn the motor over to knock off buildup before starting to prolong the life of the pump.
I just installed my AR630TSS yesterday and I absolutely love it. It does not make 1900 PSI and never will. The max pressure any washer will make can be seen on the pressure guage when the unit stops, you will notice your guage said 1400 psi, mine did as well. The bigger question is how much pressure is lost from that point when you are running it. My Green Works Pro 2700 would build to 2700 psi but would drop to 875 psi using a 4.0 nozzle. The AR630 only builds to 14000 psi but only drops to 1150 psi using a 4.0 nozzle and flows twice the water while doing it. Here are my numbers testing different tips. 3.0- 1275 psi, 3.5-1225 psi, 4.0- 1150 psi. You will notice there is only a 50-75 psi change for every 1/2 nozzle size. Since most of us are using these things to wash cars what's important is finding a pressure washer that can run 1000 - 1200 psi while flowing as much water as possible and this unit delivers better than any other 110v electric I've seen. Just make sure you have a 20 amp outlet to run it!
@@gunsmokezz I have the MTM Blue rubber nozzle in a 4.5 with a 40 deg fan and it runs 975 PSI and flows water like crazy. 4.0 to 4.5 is the sweet spot just decide if you want more PSI or more pressure. Both work well and most would be happy with either one.
thanks for the comment, I had a question. How big of a generator do you think someone needs to power this beast? I"m asking because I do mobile detailing. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
@@johnboy5632 The simple answer is you need a generator that has a 20 amp 110v plug. This thing pulls around 19 amps if I remember correctly, I don't think anything with just a 15 amp plug will handle it.
@@rodcox1005 thanks for the reply man. OK. I have a Firman generator it has 20 amps and 120V. 2000 starting watts 1600 running watts. I think I should be ok.
Owned one of those for hot water, its a beast, loved it, 7 years and still great, bad thing is the weight, I turn it into a hydro jetter, and perform so nice. I will buy one or two more this week for my other trucks.
Just got the AR675 unit that runs on 15 amps and is very quiet unit after my VE52 unit failed with in 6 months, so I decided to move up a level. I found the pressure levels and GPM are advertised at 2000 psi and 1.7 GPM but wasn't getting those numbers like you. So I see on their website the specs are showing MAX pressure and MAX GPM numbers and below those specs they show the rated pressures and that is where it is at. This can be manipulated by the nozzle size as you show, I really like this unit so far and the noise level is quite low one of my favorite features.
Love mine, really do. But in my detailing trailer I run a igen4500 inverter generator. The plug that comes with the pressure washer would constantly pop it's breaker when the inverter would ramp up. Work around was to do away with the factory plug and wire in a normal waterproof plug. Second issue was finding the right diaphragm pump to feed the pressure washer from the water tank. Running a 3gpm pump just wouldn't feed the pressure washer enough and it definitely didn't sound happy. The fix was to run a 5gpm 60 psi pump to feed it. Next issue was it over amping the transfer pump because even though it was being fed, it still wanted to pull the water. Factory fuse for the diaphragm pump is 15amps, it's currently wired to a 30amp breaker with heavier gauge wire. Again, I love the pressure washer for its reliability, but if I had to replace it.....id go with the non TSS model. There's a delay that I don't care for. BUT, it's currently in year 2 and washing away. Just some food for thought for the mobile detailers out there👍

I ordered this morning. was wondering if I should wait for the Active 2.0 coming in July for about half the price but I am sure I can't go wrong with the AR630-TSS. Your test on the VE52 was interesting and the 2.0 states to be even better, but probably not the longevity and as robustness of the AR. BTW according to AR site normal working pressure is 1400PSI so readings you were getting are good. I love watching your reviews since you do different non biased tests and answer many questions I usually have. Good work. I would press the like button more than once if I could.
It may need a break in period. I bought mine used and it was giving roughly 1850 psi. I did an oil change on it and the psi dropped to like 1500 psi. After a few months I checked it again and I was back at 1850 psi.

Josh, you never followed the comparison of the AR630-TSS with your Adam's Pro. I'm on the fence. You have made all the features clear except for the noise level. The AR630-TSS seems to be high at 78 dbi, and the Adam's Pro is high at 68 DBI; that extra 10 dbi would make the AR630-TSS twice as loud. Is that true?
I think you should have set the valve on the machine fully on the opposite direction. The logic is the other way around. Trust this way you would get higher psi and higher gpm. Also what aboyt doing the test again using a 4.0 - 4.5 and 5.0 orifice as well as using a foam canon orifice in the range of 1.32-1.4 and 1.5 and see what we get in terms of foam and moist important on the amperage side. Matt from Obsessed Garage has tested this unit as well. He used a 5.0 orifice nozzle and got 975 PSI with just over 2.3 GPM. I got a chance to try one for myself and I absolutely loved it. Also, ratings on rinse nozzles and foam cannon orifice sizes are different. Foam cannon orifice sizes are actual 1.1 mm, 1.25 mm, etc. Whereas orifice sizes from the 0, 15, 25, and 40 degree are standardized at 4000 PSI and the orifice number indicates a GPM at the 4000 PSI. So a 3.5 orifice rinse nozzle is 3.5 GPM at 4000 PSI, not 3.5 mm.
@@peterjohnson8631 I just went by Matt's testing in that close to 1000 PSI for washing cars, the AR630 got a little over 2.4 GPM. The smallest you can go for the AR630 is a 3.0, I believe. You'd get about 1700 PSI at maybe 2 GPM but you'll be pulling 17-18 amps.
@@peterjohnson8631 That's exactly right. The OE gun gets 1400 PSI and Josh tested a 3.0 nozzle getting the same pressure. Matt from Obsessed Garage tested a 4.0 got 1200 PSI but no GPM test. Since a 5.0 got 2.3 GPM and a 3.0 got about 1.8, the middle assumption of a 4.0 would be just over 2.0 GPM

Yea honestly I would probably go with the ar. They have been around forever and have service centers near me if I ever needed any parts replaced. The 20 amp can be a little annoying though
I just got mine last month from the clean garage :). Coming from a Karcher 1700 cube it was pretty over kill haha but I love it I'm also using it in my mobile set up. I'm using a 4.0 orifice I haven't tested my psi/ gmp but just based on feel I can definitely tell it feel around 2 gpm. Obsessed Garage recommends a 5.0 orifice but I don't have one lol.

Cool looking unit and im trying to decide this unit or the Kranzel 1322ts . Which one you feel is the best ? Also do you have the kranzel unit . Thanks please let me know 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I always have this doubt Josh. Won't the electricity pass through the plunger pump and cause any shock ? My 14 year old Karcher K3.550 just broke and I want to upgrade to a plunger pump but just worried about the electric shocks if I mistakenly touch it when there is power. Would be glad if you can create awareness on this. For example Karcher HD511 cage classic doesn't come with a 3 pin plug, so technically there is no ground but is it still safe to hold the cage and move it around?
Is there any chance you can do a review on the generac speed wash 3200 pressure washer. I’ve heard good things about it and was probably going to buy one. They don’t have many videos out on them and you do a pretty good job at reviewing them.
This has probably been asked and answered but I can't find the answer. How much foam canon solution is needed to wash a standard size car? Do I need to mix up a entire LItre every time or is it possible to mix up a lesser amount? can the solution that is mixed be saved in the canon and used on the next wash or does the foam canon need to be cleaned each time?
Not sure if it matters, but have you ever tested the PSI at the gun outlet, in between the actual gun and nozzle? I understand your testing method is the same all the time but I'm curious if there is any change testing it from the front of the gun.
Great video Josh! I own this unit, and sometimes I'm having issues getting to start, I'm running a 30A-4,000 watts generator and it overloads it when the problen is present. I also tried at home on a 220v outlet and same thing, I bought it at Clean Garage website, but I can't get any support. Anyone having this issue??
Do you have a new link to the cheaper foam cannon from Amazon ? I’m barely starting to get into this. I think you said it was like $15 or $20 bucks before…
Great pressure washer forsure! I wanted to ask what is the difference in the red oil cap and the black one noticed mine came with both red is a cap and black is a dipstick type thing what is the purpose for both?
What type generator will you use to run the AR Blue pressure washer? Do you have to alter anything with the generator to get the Amps required by the pressure washer? And are you using the same generator spec with the Adams pressure washer as well?
In order to use the AR Blue 630 TSS, you would need a generator that provides a 20 amp outlet. As the AR Blue requires that. I personally use the Predator 4550 generator.
So I've only used this pressure washer one time. czcams.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
I love my ar630. It performs super well and is extremely quiet but it’s also very heavy and draws a lot of power. If your power can handle it (20amp for sure) and you use it a lot the ar is a great choice because it’s also serviceable. There are a few new pressure washer brands that are looking to launch in the us in 2024 so we will see how they stack up against the active as well
I put the smallest nozzle I had (unmarked Greenworks) and it never got above 1400 PSI. You can try it for yourself but I don't believe you'll do any better. That said who cares for normal washing. Plenty of power and flows water like crazy.
If I have to flip the foam cannot (Amazon’s foam cannon) upside down every time in order to get foam to come out, should I just buy a different one? I have the Costco 2000psi green works pressure washer
Can’t wait for the active 2.0 to come out, sounds like it’s going to be at the top for “consumer grade” around $3-400 range if I remember right, not too bad for the number they say the machine is putting iut
Active 2.0 is a throw away product as in once it goes beyond the warranty then you throw it away. If you need individual internal parts to fix it yourself then you're screwed. It's no different than the other low-end washers that are only imported as whole units where there is no option to buy individual internal pieces.
@@peterjohnson8631 They are keeping quiet about it which is a red flag. It's probably similar to the ve56 as just a 2 year then throw away. These are not long-term units. Imported to sell at a low price to make high profit off sales. No different than every cheap throw Away at the box stores.
@@obliviondio there is a video (not sure exactly which one) out already where they tested this new one and it wasn’t outputting the figures they originally stated. Obsessed considers the build quality of the 630 as "janky" implying not so great compared to his kranzel even though the 630 can outperform the kranzel and last as long. The 630 can also be pieced together with all available parts in the schematics just like the kranzle. Overall the 630 is just as high-end as the 110v kranzel. The Active 2.0 and all of their other products are just at a bar slightly higher than box store 110v electric quality. I say 110v because box stores like northern tool have high quality 220v in the store.
1st off, you are wrong. The PSI is rated at 1400 running, which is exactly what you showed. It is up to 1900 PSI max at the trigger start-up. I have had mine for 4 years now and have not done one thing at all to it, and it's been going strong ever since! No issues whatsoever! I did upgrade the hose and the gun when I purchased it, and that's it. I absolutely love it and do not see myself going to anything else other than a completely bigger, more powerful system for big trucks, but this honestly definitely can get you through the day doing the big truck also. Would you choose this unit over the Adams professional pressure washer? There seems to be some draw backs to this unit including the 20 amp. The Adams unit is larger but seems like it’s built well.
Dude i went from the karcher 1700 to the active ve52. Makes your realize how big of a piece of sh** the karcher is 😂😂😂. Did cobra jet hose and MTM stubby gun and WOW! 🤩🤩🤩
5.0 is prob a little bigger than I would want. Prob want the next smaller size.
Friggin Chicago weather. I feel like moving back to AZ
Have you tried this unit? AR BLUE CLEAN PRO, AR613, 1900 PSI 18AMP, INDUCTION MOTOR, BRASS HEAD ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER
Cool looking unit and im trying to decide this unit or the Kranzel 1322ts . Which one you feel is the best ? Also do you have the kranzel unit . Thanks please let me know 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I love my Ryobi 1900 but I'll be keeping this in mind
I always have this doubt Josh. Won't the electricity pass through the plunger pump and cause any shock ? My 14 year old Karcher K3.550 just broke and I want to upgrade to a plunger pump but just worried about the electric shocks if I mistakenly touch it when there is power. Would be glad if you can create awareness on this. For example Karcher HD511 cage classic doesn't come with a 3 pin plug, so technically there is no ground but is it still safe to hold the cage and move it around?
Love your videos. From your experience, what is the best start/stop pressure washer that won’t break the bank?
Active v52
Kranzler 1322 v AR630 v active 2.3 money no issue which are you getting for home use car washing?
Just looked at your website. Very nice and professional.
Hey Josh great video as usual. My question is have you tested the equivalent kranzle and if you have which one would you go with.
Is there any chance you can do a review on the generac speed wash 3200 pressure washer. I’ve heard good things about it and was probably going to buy one. They don’t have many videos out on them and you do a pretty good job at reviewing them.
Hey josh my mjjc created thick foam for 10 seconds then turned into water
Love your videos but oh hell no this bad boy is not being added to the fleet with that cost.
I’m surprised this one costs so much and doesn’t seem to perform as well as the active 2.0. Surprised this was your main.
Looks like a great pressure washer, thanks Josh 👍😁
The AR blue 630 already comes with oil or do you have to put it in and how much oil does it need and what type of oil is it?
Quickly. AR680 vs Active 2.3 ???
This has probably been asked and answered but I can't find the answer. How much foam canon solution is needed to wash a standard size car? Do I need to mix up a entire LItre every time or is it possible to mix up a lesser amount? can the solution that is mixed be saved in the canon and used on the next wash or does the foam canon need to be cleaned each time?
What soap did you put in the foam cannon?
Not sure if it matters, but have you ever tested the PSI at the gun outlet, in between the actual gun and nozzle? I understand your testing method is the same all the time but I'm curious if there is any change testing it from the front of the gun.
I have mines connected to my predator 4550 on the 30 amp receptacle.. I keep getting overloading issues on mines any ideas as to what could it be?
Love the work have a review suggestion and it is the Karcher k2 power control
Good night looking from Trinidad I check amazon but its not available, I wanted the price
Hello I have the same exact issue.. running mines on a predator 4550 30 amp receptacle. keeps overloading. Have you resolved yours yet?
@@autosheenHello,
My issue was fixed by lowering the water pressure on the unit. I lowered mine about halfway and problem stopped, I hope that helps.
Thank you I will try that. 🙌@@finitolowpez
@@autosheen Good luck 👍
How has this been holding up. I do hood cleaning and I'm looking to use this in areas I can't bring my truck mounted pressure washer.
I've got the brushless Greenworks , wondering if I'd see enough difference to spend the $ on the ar blue 630 ? Thnx
Thanks so much for your videos! Super helpful!!!
Does the 1/4inch uberflex limit the GPM? Shouldnt you run it with a 3/8 kobrajet?
What is the life span of this pressure washer can it be used for business washing please thanks greetings from Ghana
Great video! Where did you get the brass Female GHT to Female GHT from?
It’s a BSPP female to GHT female adapter/coupler. It’s on the Clean Garage or Obsessed Garage website.
How strong a generator do you need to run the AR Blue 630 TSS?
Do you have a new link to the cheaper foam cannon from Amazon ? I’m barely starting to get into this. I think you said it was like $15 or $20 bucks before…
At 7:26 you didn't sit the set o-ring in correctly.
Hey Josh nice video. Curious why there is so much water dripping out of you nozzle?
I havE A AR BLUE 630 as well but I can’t make it to work it won’t turn on I have it hook on my 3500 predator generator
Someone!? Willing to help plz ?
Does anyone know where to get the adaptor he uses at about 6.55 to go onto the water hose inlet?
make a video on what is a good pre soap
What we’re the 2 hand sprayer chemicals you used?
Great pressure washer forsure! I wanted to ask what is the difference in the red oil cap and the black one noticed mine came with both red is a cap and black is a dipstick type thing what is the purpose for both?
the red cap is for transport only and the black one is used when the pressure washer is being used since it has holes in it.
Does this needs a transfer pump or does it have its own suction?
Nice Unit...Excellent review...Appreciate the video's
What type generator will you use to run the AR Blue pressure washer? Do you have to alter anything with the generator to get the Amps required by the pressure washer? And are you using the same generator spec with the Adams pressure washer as well?
In order to use the AR Blue 630 TSS, you would need a generator that provides a 20 amp outlet. As the AR Blue requires that. I personally use the Predator 4550 generator.
Will this thing wash a deck or concrete driveway or is it just for cars ?
I have had two ar blue clean 383 pressure washers and they both suck. One almost started on fire.
Josh, would you go with the AR, over the 2.0 when it’s double the price? I’m kind of holding out for the active 2.3
I love my ar630. It performs super well and is extremely quiet but it’s also very heavy and draws a lot of power. If your power can handle it (20amp for sure) and you use it a lot the ar is a great choice because it’s also serviceable. There are a few new pressure washer brands that are looking to launch in the us in 2024 so we will see how they stack up against the active as well
this unit should always be using a 2.0 Tip to get the numbers like 1600/1800 PSI
I put the smallest nozzle I had (unmarked Greenworks) and it never got above 1400 PSI. You can try it for yourself but I don't believe you'll do any better. That said who cares for normal washing. Plenty of power and flows water like crazy.
@@rodcox1005 I want to save on water i like the pressure out put power to be strong but uses less water that's what i like 👍
Would you recommend this unit over the Adams Pro?
If I have to flip the foam cannot (Amazon’s foam cannon) upside down every time in order to get foam to come out, should I just buy a different one? I have the Costco 2000psi green works pressure washer
Do you have to use it upside down? Or like flip it over than back upright and it works?
Do you hav kacher electric pressure washer where you live and can you do a demo with one it's what we hav
Please review Dura-dressing for tire
Hi I was checking your videos I seen a kacher demo thanks
Hi, 5 AR630 are enough for a car wash of 100 cars daily?
How much is it please?
Please answer if it will work on gravity fed water from the water tank???
It absolutely does! That’s how I have mine set up in my van
I can’t get on your site
Can you show us the 1.25 orifice to see how the foam consistency looks? I only have a 15 amp breaker.
You need a 20Amp to run this
@@MrAbword thanks
Try to use a 1.5mm orifice. Since a 1.5mm orifice is similar to a 5.0 rinse nozzle, it’ll draw just under 15amps. Around 14.5
I saw someone out ONR in the soap inlet in one of the pressure washers, think that’s would be a good idea a?
there is no need for us weekend warrior to even touch the soap injector
Is this self-priming? I want to run it with gravity fed tank, but I dont want to mess with a pump system.
That’s how I am running it!
Is that hot pressure washer
Can’t wait for the active 2.0 to come out, sounds like it’s going to be at the top for “consumer grade” around $3-400 range if I remember right, not too bad for the number they say the machine is putting iut
Active 2.0 is a throw away product as in once it goes beyond the warranty then you throw it away. If you need individual internal parts to fix it yourself then you're screwed. It's no different than the other low-end washers that are only imported as whole units where there is no option to buy individual internal pieces.
How long is the warranty for the new one? Also, what are the numbers this unit is supposedly putting out?
@@peterjohnson8631
They are keeping quiet about it which is a red flag.
I think they were still decent numbers but yeah. Ironic though since obsessed garbage is always bad mouthing the other companies for doing the same thing but maybe it’s different for this situation since he’s gonna profit from it?
@@peterjohnson8631
Trusting someone that gets endorsements off something he sells is not wise. Just the same with any review on CZcams that embeds ads in their videos even though you pay for CZcams red to watch adfree videos.
That hat is sick bro! 😎
I kinda lost my trust in your reviews cause of this. Tells me you're not educating yourself and misleading people in your reviews.
Did you use a 1/4 hose or a 3/8" one? Josh is testing with a 1/4" one it seems.
@@LuisC202 3/8 which allows for a lower PSI. Quarter inch hose would actually increase the PSI because it is smaller diameter with less water flow.
Just got mine 😎
