    Purchased one and received it 2 weeks ago and right out of the box after hooking it up it was leaking from the pump area on the unit. After contacting the company ar blue clean which is where i bought it from directly they seemed to act as if it was my fault "sounds like the pump has froze up and cracked due to improper storage how did you store the unit?" When i had stated in the original message to them that it was leaking immediately before even pressurizing the unit. Has been 2 weeks now still waiting for "the next step" how long am i supposed to be expected to wait to use my $1000 Purchase? Not impressed with the companys customer service or the quality so far.. not a small leak either

      @CarsWithKeav  Před 2 měsíci

      That really sucks! Do you think it was damaged in shipping by being dropped? Not exactly the response I would want for sure, but based on some other comments is inline with what they have said. Hope it gets resolved for you. There is always “The Chargeback” as the final option.

      @@CarsWithKeavI have been using pressure washers and repairing them myself for atleast 10 years and after opening the pump up my honest opinion is the pump looked "used" parts looked warn inside, and the leak is internal. I don't think it would be possible for whatever is wrong with the unit to have happened during shipping. I have used it and am otherwise impressed it's just annoying to have a gallon of water inside of my business every 20 ish minutes. I was close to getting the AR or waiting for the Active 2.3. At the end of the day, I couldn't justify the cost, since this is just a hobby for me. I ended up buying the Active 2.0 (haven't used it yet) and I think that'll be a massive upgrade over what I had. I may end up getting the Active foam cannon though, which is also hard to justify since I have the MJJC... but $90 hurts less than $780. Great stuff bro!!

    They must have updated the plug recently. My AR630 TSS that was bought a couple years ago from The Clean Garage has the 2 vertical "15 amp outlet style" prongs. Obviously I only use it on a 20 amp outlet/circuit but I guess they made it a little more idiot-proof.

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  Před 5 měsíci

      Yeah, lots of complaints, but they created there own now because people don’t know what to do with the new plug. It pulls a lot of amps and it has been known to trip some 20AMP. Mainly the very sensitive built in arc protection ones.

  • @still-DJ
    @still-DJ Před 5 měsíci +3

    Awesome and at $15.38 @ pound (lol) it isn't bad for THE best pressure washer; as long as the maintance parts are easily available and are not way overpriced. If you're making an income with a pressure washer, this is hands-down a great deal. If you mentioned the warranty I missed it. Note: That 1/2 the price of a Kranzle pressure washer!

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Just a one year warranty on the 600 series pressure washers. I have not really heard of many issues with them from the people I know that have had them for years. That is a bit short of a warranty period though. Usually the pump head gets a longer warranty than the unit itself.

    I had at one point had the AR630, Karcher and Kranzle K1600 (discontinued i think), after a year gave away the karcher and sold the AR630 im not a fan of ceramic plungers that the AR uses, it didnt like the sudden increase in temp so when hit the gun i notice a leak and pressure way low come to find out the ceramic plunger was crack, fixed it and sold and went with Kranzle 499 tst and just recently got the kws700 which is ok. heavy and takes up space, out all the them id take my 13 year old K1600 anyday, its just simple plug in and play, its not a non stop machine which after having the tst and timed stop machine it didn't sway me from giving it up and go all total stop machine ,its whisper quiet aT @60+ db than other pressure washer ive used and also i ran it with and without water and this thing just keep on running lol. I do my own maintenance and Parts are NOW easy to get thanks to Dirt killer for stocking up the consumables. I would say the AR630 is not a slouch either its good machine just make sure u ramp it up and gradually run cold to hot or vice versa…on a side note Kranzle are also rated up to 140 degrees fahrenheit.

As nice as the Kranzle is it only makes sense to me from a price no object or for someone using it a ton. Given what your doing now I think you could probably justify either one. Do you have a way to test for starting amps and running amps? AR claims the starting watts is 8400 watts… I don’t so that being possible. I have it set up in a detail trailer and have had nothing but problems trying to get it to work consistently. I have it running on a 30A breaker on the generator. I would buy a tool to test that but I don’t have a dedicated 20 amp breaker available to me to test…

      I’m trying to get a meter to test I don’t have one that works with the 20AMP plug on the machine. I do know Clean garage says you need 7200 watts.
      Info For Mobile Detailer Setups:
      AR Tri-Plex Pumps must be gravity fed when being fed from a water tank
      The tank should be AT LEAST 12" above the pump
      The tank should be as close to the pump as possible
      The inlet hose diameter should be doubled in size when gravity feeding (1.5")
      Generator Requirements:
      To properly power a commercial pressure washer long term we suggest using the following formula when determining your generator wattage:
      AMPS X VOLTS X 3 = At least 7200 running watts

Even the A tube 2.0 for me takes longer to stop and sometimes surges on a 1/4 hose, but never does it on a 3/8. Kobrajet is also a huge difference in price.
