  • Written by American poet John Greenleaf Wittier, this song reflects the attitude of Vermonters during the Revolutionary War. It is also known as "The Green Mountain Boys." I love that so many people work to bring us music that couldn't have been recorded when it was made.
Music in general is awesome because regardless of what era, genre, or instrumentation is involved it brings people together. In this case, it kind of brings you a little closer to the human experiences of the past.
    Be well, everyone ~♡

If you’re still around, you should really put this on Spotify. Personally love this song, and it’s such a good rendition.
Right now, there’s only like two versions on Spotify one of which is acapella and the other of which is just frankly not super good.
