There are a number of things that could be done differently in Avatar the Last Airbender. Whether or not that would make it a better show is up to the viewer. Though one thought creeps into the minds of Avatar fans, how did Iroh and Ozai leave things when Iroh left with Prince Zuko? Did they ever reconcile their differences? Well What if Iroh fought Ozai instead of Aang? Talk about a curveball. A change like that would completely rewrite the tone and themes of the original show, or would they? Well kind of...but not as much as you think. In this “what if?” scenario, we look at what would happen if Iroh took on Ozai instead of Aang. Aside from the actual fight we would look at why Aang would choose not to fight Ozai and why Iroh would in the first place. Not only that, but there is also the aftermath to think about. What would Iroh’s life look like after he defeated his brother? How would he handle that trauma? We look at these questions and really get into the weeds of what fame can do to someone who never really wanted it to begin with. I mean how would the history books treat Iroh in the years following this? Not only that, but how would this sit with Aang? It is possibly one of our most ambitious “what if?” scenarios to date. It would be a sibling rivalry that would make Azula and Zuko look tame by comparison for sure.

Which two I replied with he would die which I was joking about because I've seen Avatar both legend of Korra and Aang timeline. but then be reincarnated into the southern or northern water tribe as the Avatar of water. As I said later on I was just trolling the entire time because I knew Avatar Aang wouldn't die because if you actually looked through the episode you'll see that an animal AKA a baboon had its face stolen but it was still alive.

People is shaped by pain. If Iroh had not lost his son, he would have been a different person.
he would still be just some other ruthless firebender, like his grandfather or his brother. his son's death in a way turned his whole life around.
He loved Zuko and Lu Ten.. death of eather of them would make him realize that the cause was not earth kingdom, but senseless violence..
He was wise enough to keep it a secret about Dragons Ram and Shaw and lied to everyone that he slayed them, he was smart enough to eventually become who he is..

All things happen for a reason, it was always the destiny of the avatar to bring down the fire lord and bring peace to the world. I think the way it happened was the way it was always supposed to be.

Knowing how chill Uncle Iroh is, the war would have ended a long time ago and he would conquer the land by having some jasmine tea with the leaders.
Regardless, Iroh is an amazing and inspirational person. Sure, he would become a kinslayer and it would hurt him greatly, but I think he'd learn the greatest lesson of them all:
Victory is sweet, but it is also bitter.
Regardless, Iroh is an optimist. Even with such a huge regret of killing his own brother (sadly, there wasn't another way), he would live a happy life with tea. His tea shop would become even more world famous.
What If Avatar Wan merged with both Raava and Vaatu, becoming a Balance Avatar (light and dark, peace and chaos together as one)?

@@Phoenix-King-ozai Iroh was stronger than his brother by far. When he drew on the comet's power to break down the walls of the then Fire Nation occupied Ba Sing Se, he didn't even need any backup from the White Lotus. Ozai simply relied on pure muscle and power to achieve victory in the war but that didn't work which is why he had to wait for the comet to even have a chance.
Iroh meanwhile, studied all four nations extensively and knew their cultures, military strategies and therefore their weaknesses at the back of his own hands. If Aang easily re-directed Ozai's lightning blow, Iroh would cream his jealous brother that only gets power from wild emotion (not discipline) in an instant. He may not have fought as much, but that doesn't make him weak; he was just keeping his strength under control and using it for when he actually needed it such as when he and White Lotus liberated Ba Sing Se.
Everyone thinks ozai can beat iroh easily.
But the truth is
Iroh can defeat ozai in just one minute.
Because he learns different firebending techniques by watching other bending techniques. none of the existing firebenders couldn't make it.
He wont kill ozai even if he can.because it will give wrong message to future generation

A better scenario would've been if Iroh just became Fire Lord as planned, no need to go when Aang gets involved. Just have Iroh be the one who makes the calls on the war. Which...if that'd been the case everyone would've been SCREWED. Iroh studied all three other nations EXTENSIVELY and knew their cultures and military strategies inside and out. If he'd been the leader of the Fire Nation war effort he would've had every bowing down to him and drinking tea.

@@hippegast12 Not really, after his son was killed in action Iroh was dishonorably discharged from the Fire Nation Army and didn't have any authority in the country or war once his brother took over. He only served as advisor to Zuko all that time. But if he'd succeeds Azulon from the get go things would've been different.

Iroh versus his own brother would have been legendary. I think Aang role should have been in a support figure to dismantle the Fire Nation army then coming to the rescue for Iroh to take Ozai's bending abilities away.
Itd be interesting thing to see what would happen if Iroh faced Ozai before Aang was free, or if Iroh stepped in before Zuko got burned and what could be if Ozai got his royal butt kicked by Iroh.
Could you do a possible MCU phase 4 Adamantium video? Also i agree when people say that uncle iroh is one of the best, if not the best character in avatar the last air bender and the legend of korra shows!

What if Iroh found out that Oazi was responsible for the death of their father along with Ursa, I personally feel he would challenge Ozai to an agni kai for the throne similar to the final fight between Zuko and Azula, this would also allow Iroh to start the search for Ursa far earlier, with Ursa, however I personally think he would be lenient with her because A) she was simply trying to save Zuko and B) to allow Zuko and Azula to reunite with their mother which would definitely help them mentally

I think if aang dead zuko and iroh would team up and kill ozai by a raditz vs piccolo and goku fight iroh would grab ozai and hold him and then zuko redirects lighting towards them and boom "achieved a sad ending"
something interesting is if Iroh became enraged, and ruthlessly attacked at Ozai, brutally killing him.
then Zuko would get to see exactly what happens to a person when they give into their anger, and it would show him that no one is truly immune to rage, and hate.
then he would get to watch Iroh heal from this, slowly being able to forgive himself.
seeing that no one is perfect, not even Iroh can be perfect.
but that in the end, imperfection can be forgiven, a lesson that would greatly help Zuko.

I think based off what Ozai told Zuko during S3 Ep 10, that if Iroh became Firelord instead of ozai that zuko would be dead based of Ozai telling him "To ensure that I became Firelord, your mother proposed a plan, a plan where I would become Firelord and your life would be spared" and due to that, I also think that Ursa would've never been banished and still be a citizen of the fire nation

I think I know what happened to azula she pretended to good and then convinced anng to take her to the sprit world and then she fused with vato and to stop her he took her bending away but sh somehow got it back
What I want to know is what if zuko actually fought ozai during their agni kai, would it still end in him being banished, would he still end up with his scar, would he ever join the gaang
One major thing that he didn’t mention was that Korra wouldn’t have all four elements since she did lose her bending to Amon and only got them back from aang and his energy bending but in this universe he would have that so that means Korra would only have air bending and Lin won’t have her bending
