You do realise you get something else everytime for a same game (you may get a different emoticon, background, coupon) You can craft badges for a same game more than once. The biggest perk of crafting badges, imo is to get XP & level up your steam account. By leveling up your steam account you can get lots of perks like: additional friends slots, additional profile showcase slots, increased chance of getting booster packs, etc...
I did know that you can craft badges again to level up the badge, as well as get the xp and level up your steam account. I did not realize that the rewards were different each time. The additional perks are really awesome to have. Thank you for your comment!
