  • I'm using an EcoFlow River Pro solar generator in this video to see if it will power a microwave. This specific microwave is rated at 1050 watts but produces 700 watts to heat food.

The manual says don't use it with a microwave, but that's why I bought it (and for coffee, etc. during an outage). Nice to know my money wasn't wasted. Thanks!

This is a pretty neat test and that is one pretty powerful power station.

I was not expecting that portable River Pro to have a 720Wh capacity.

Aside from that microwave, that River Pro can actually power a lot of other gadgets since it has a 720Wh capacity.

The best thing I like about that River Pro, is I am able to connect an extra battery and double the capacity in minutes to 1440Wh.

You can hear : 1. The cat purring/ 2. The microwave oven struggling.

With around 720Wh of capacity. I can use that River Pro to power my CPAP machine for a long time.

gotta step up to the delta series to properly power a microwave at full power. I have the Delta Mini as i am a trucker and it powers my 900 watt microwave at full power.

Um well actually it isn’t very efficient if it takes 4 minutes. That’s basically double the time 🤓 but nice video keep up the work 👍

From my understanding of Xboost it works with dumb appliances aka anything that related to heating. Anything with a compressor don’t use Xboost you’ll fry your fridge but an air compressor okay because motors are design to handle a wide range voltage. Let’s say you have an industrial fan I mean those massive ones that move a lot of air. It’s okay to use Xboost but say for instance your gaming laptop, don’t use Xboost.
