@@justamobilegamer6927 They have as much high killstreak potential than heros because of their massive mobility, they as well as every reinfocements are able to get high killstreaks it's just less forgiving. As heros are just the best they have been from all the other Battlefront games, (Besides Battlefront 1 EA Jango, op as hell) which makes them very unforgiving to fight against. What's worse about this is that these maps were designed for heros to make pushes. Felcuia is actualy a good map besides the point that droids are always gonna be hard to see.

I was thinking the clone commandos and the magnaguards will be on a class on their own capable of taking out vehicles and even heroes they can be called The Sentinel class. As for the droideka it can be faced up with a special ops clone trooper

@@justintyme3446 there's enough Jedi in the game that adding Jedi Temple Guards would be unnecessary. I'm still waiting to see if the Red Imperial Guards or the Red Praetorian Guards would be added as melee reinforcements. But it's EA, so I cannot expect much from them.
Flame Trooper Fix: Change overload to a range extender, like a fire stream 5x the distance.
The max range of an M1 Flamethrower is 141 feet. A Star Wars flamethrower would go further than that.

@@Rebotified Which is exactly the problem with the Flametrooper. He needs to continuously burn targets to kill them. In reality, he only needs to spray them once from potentially pretty far away and they would burn.
The best way to change this would be to drastically increase the range, increase the damage over time, but decrease the duration of firing. This would still force players to use him carefully, but it would in turn make him far more useful.

My number one is the republic Jet Trooper. I swear I can snipe someone from half way across the map with their blaster.

That blaster is way too good I swear it really needs a nerf at least at long ranges
The jet trooper is one of the few reasons why I still play this game, since as someone who doesn't like to play heroes or villains, which are extremely OP and someone who used to play as an officer class, which got nerfed to oblivion, it's the only cheap unit that destroys heavies.
I'm also very good with the Jet B2, but it's crosshair and accuracy kinda sucks.
And with super battledroud jet trooper with its good defense you can get so many good killstreaks
When a player chooses Vader and my teams losing. I pick the flamethrower and chase Vader around with. So it brings back Memories

Yo b2 overload is the best in the game and the radical is better then the Death Trooper by that I mean they more accurate. Not only that b2 normal blaster may not be as powerful as the death trooper up close but it definitely beats it at long range and medium range. In fact I would say b2 have the best long range capability out of all the reinforcements. I’m not sure about this last point I’m going to make but if I remember right b2 blaster keeps its damage the best over range and I think the head shot multiply ( I don’t know specifics) is better then most.
Hunter The Great I totally agree with you, I use the b2 super battle droid all the time and definitely did not deserve to be 8th place. They are by far one of the best reinforcements and would come in around top 5 for me

Make the jedi strike first but dodge the attack, then you rush in with you three vibro blade attacks and you get back out of melee range, continue to repeat that and as long as the jedi forgets that they have force abilities you will win (one VS one).

The B2 Super Battle Droid enforcer's blaster does MORE damage at range when you activate Overload. Every other character does less damage at range.

@@FoggyTheHippo Let's worry about getting their 50% DR bug fixed to 25% next patch first. Even then I still think they'll need to lower it after that and maybe even reduce their anti-armor damage to vehicles (I can take out a full health AAT with 1 activation of it...). After those I think it'll be balanced enough.
Note, I love the commando to bits and have loved them ever since RC and the RC books. However after leveling them from 42 to 153 this past week I wouldn't bat an eye to any nerfs/fixes lol.

It's basically a light version of the Jettrooper, with reduced accuracy and less firerate.

The Flame trooper is probably the most fun for me. Arc trooper still my favourite though
I love the comnando, i was doing a capital supremacy on kamino we got sent back to our venator and we had 3 seconds left until we would be back on the ground and a b2 and a commando droid came at me while i was on the objective and i used the repulsor and ledged them both and then we came back and won
I also think the DC-17m is extremely weak and much less accurate than it should be
On console the dc-17m is not that great, on PC (which I'm sure is what he's playing on) the gun is very powerful
Commando droid is the only reinforcement that I can get 50 kills without dying and avoid a hero, anyone else agree

Now I might just buy this game for the Clone Commando. Star Wars Republic Commando is one of my favorite games of all time so seeing such a character appear in a newer game is amazing.
Remember the guards from BF1 where you could spawn with heroes as like a rebel honor guard or imperial royal guard? I want that with Magna guards spawning with Dooku, Temple Guards with Yoda, honor guards with Leia, royal guards with palpatine, and praetorian guards with Kylo Ren. And, if the hero dies, the guard unit dies too.

Jet Trooper is my main and favorite character, i can't tell you how many times ive gone Jet Trooper only in a match even tho i could go a hero role and end up MVP with 80 000 score without even tryharding it. It all depends on your playstyle and playstyle skill. For me having a rocket and a jet pack to just be able to fly in and out of action is all i need to go on a killing spree.

I find the repulse blast hard to land. It is so small and close range that droids usually run behind me by the time the ability activates. Heroes pull/push is long range so the chance of hitting an approaching enemy is higher.
I can say there is nothing more satisfying than storming down the corridors of the enemy Venator with a full squad of commando droids

B2 super battle droid is by far my worst even if they're not bad/unfun. I agree with most of your list and that the Flamethrowers need a range buff/change the enforcer middle ability to a temporary range increase ability. But I think the flamethrower is a lot better imo than some of the other lowest units. Droidaka's are in dire need of help, even before the update they were borderline unplayable in many situations. Jump troopers guns need a minor nerf since they're insane and I see them used way more than ark troopers which are vastly outclassed by them. I really like the commando droids guns but that's a personal preference

I still have the BX #1, didn’t receive any nerfs and got ANOTHER agility buff with its boosted jump, most rewarding reinforcement for good players IMO
I love how the flame trooper has a GIANT tank on its back yet still has the ability to roll. This mechanic is so silly. 🤦♂️
The call for the jet trooper nerf is aboslutely warranted. If one factions unit within a category (and the same BP price) absolutely better than all others in it, it's obviously OP (for its category). Every aerial SHOULD be equally strong(but horizontally different, maybe even more than is)
I love the commando droid it needs a health buff and something other than the smoke bomb that can't even trick bots.
A smoke bomb can't even trick bots because bots aren't programmed to have their view obstructed by it. It works incredibly well against players. Even if you just use it as you would in cs:go, you can temporarily block off certain checkpoints and areas with it to hold back the enemy
Jet trooper is defo number 1 for me. The agility and being able to go from 1 person to another with ease combined with the perk that recovers health on kills makes him unstoppable. Enough times have I got 80+ kills on capital supremacy.
I love the ARC Trooper, the pure dmg you get at close range and medium range is insane if you use your F ability
Death troopers are my favorite to play as
I'd swap jump troopers and wookies around due to the former's mobility. I'd also shorten the fuse on the thermal imploder. Death Troopers are the strongest for me: map hack, damage, large splash radius in their grenade, good running speed and their blaster mulches infantry like no other reinforcement. As for how to fix the flame trooper, I would go with one of the following: 1) extend their range to remove their biggest weakness 2) increase their damage so if he gets close it's the end for the enemy since right now they can roll away and shoot through the flames 3) let them run while using overcharge - other reinforcements become tanks that move slowly but can compensate for this by having long range, but outside of camping corners or short corridors it only makes the flame trooper weaker.
I agree with this list for the most part. Though I'd place the Droideka up higher, probably about 3rd.
It has a killer learning curve, however, even in spite of it's limitations (the vulnerability with mode transitions and the fact the shield is easily destroyed) it's an incredibly versatile and useful support troop.
Especially during CS defence stages on the Separatist Dreadnought. It's incredibly satisfying using the rollie-boi's speed to circle around troops moving down the choke point before you get to the reactor core, and just unloading overload on the lads that don't watch their backs.
The droideka is used for flanking, not directly engaging the enemy head on. If you can get behind the enemy and get overload and shields up, you can destroy everything even hero’s.
Droideka: needs a buff for shield strength and blaster range
Special Ops Trooper: needs a buff for their grenade launcher transformation speed and melee attack damage
Wookiees in general: blaster damage needs to deal less damage as sith can’t hardly fight against the bowcaster
Super Battle Droids in general (apart from the Droideka): melee and blaster damage buff
Flametrooper: extra flamethrower range
That’s all the buffs the reinforcements need tbh
There’s no question about it, clone commando is number one for me. I’d say Droid Ariel is the worst for me.

My opinion but every reinforcements serves a purpose. Therefore you should have differnt playstiles for each one:
▪The commando droid is number 1 because it EXCELS at ANY range.
▪Death trooper/Wookie W/ Clone commando/ B2 SBD are all meant to be heavy tanks, mostly up close
▪Droideka/Jump troopers are meant to be fast and fire at close range
▪Flametroopers are ONLY for up close CROUD CONTROL
The one reinforcement is better than the other on every senario so at the end it matters only THE PLAYER and not the reinforcements

Just my opinion and thoughts on the reinforcments.
I think Commando Droid is still number 1. They’re the most versatile reinforcement in the game. Behind the Droideka and jet troopers, they are the most mobile. And they are certainly the most agile. They’re good at any range, and if you play them right you can beat heroes in a 1v1. You can be slippery as a snake if you use your dodge and slashes well, and the blaster has some seriously good range. Combine that with the smoke screen for quick getaways or masking where you are, and the enhanced vision, and I think they can be absolute monsters
Great video Ozzy. There are some pretty dope reinforcements✊🏾. They really need some new reinforcements for sequel and OT era. It can be the same reinforcement, just have them accessible in both eras like the Wookies

I'm so surprised you put the wookiee above an SBD and even jump trooper. Their only use in (most) situations I've seen is them just being grenade dispensers. I've seen the jump troops and SBD wipe the floor with the wookiee many times that I just sigh whenever I see the two face each other.

I agree with your list, the only thing I might change, is to switch the droid commando with the death trooper
Maybe it's just because of my playstyle, but have a much easier time tackling an objective and facing enemy heroes with the death trooper
When that Dlt-19 goes on overload, you do NOT wanna be on the receiving end, it is a blaster to be feared
Personally I think your spot on except for the droideka and arc trooper. In my book they deserve to be a little higher... The droideka can be an ABSOLUTE beast if you can play it right
Droideka is my fav because it’s so small in it’s wheel form and I can hide/ambush enemies. Like really I’ve literally tracked straight behind people in wheel form, it’s stupid how quiet they are!

I feel like too many people use the droideka like a tank, the droidekas biggest strength is that it can flank and carry a lot of firepower, by the time they notice you're there they're already at half health and you have your shield up.

New to BF2 but I love the commando, for many reasons, new person friendly, and so nostalgic of the commando game! Droid commando has a steep learning curve so getting used to it. Death trooper I need more time with as with the rest of them

Have personally gotten 100+ killstreaks as the clone jet trooper in capital supremacy and usually go around 45~ killstreaks normally, it really is possible to go on massive killstreaks with it

I don’t typically use reinforcements, but I do appreciate them. I’m almost always the hero and having skilled reinforcement players makes for a better challenge. Otherwise I’d probably never die with any lightsaber hero

New Reinforcements... I'd like to see some of the "Guard"s get introduced, Magna, Imperial, even those ones from the Last Jedi or even a Melee variant of the Wookie Warrior, since I think a dedicated melee character or two that isn't a Jedi or Sith (or Grevious) would shake up game a fair bit, especially if they are either really fast or really tanky.
I haven't even played the Clone Commando online yet as my first match of CS since the update was on the droids

I can agree with clone commando being in the #1 spot. Their anti infantry/vehicle capabilities are a tad too oppressive imo. When doing capital supremacy, if im on CIS side, no one spawns in tanks due to the clone commandos taking them out in 2 to 3 shots. It becomes more oppressive when combined with the clone tank. No CIS combination i have seen has that sort of reinforcement control where you completely lock out an aspect of a faction.
B2 super battledroid is amazing because I can say "Watch those wrist rockets" every time I press L1.

I cant get over how low Clone Commando's weapon damage is, compared to... literally everyone else.
Commando Droids/Arc Troopers/Death Troopers are just the best, and a B2 in the right hands is basically the top score no questions asked.
The last part about the Clone Commando's blaster being a bit off at distance I agree and I think Clone Commando's being the most elite soldiers the Republic has to offer, the same should go for their equipment. The solution I think should be used is already in the game, and that is in the heavy class the DC15-LE's scope attachment, not the attachment itself but the way that the reticle changes from hipfire to precise when aiming. That's how the Commando's blaster should work

The commando droid Vibro sword is freaking powerful, three good damage hits and followed up by knocking them back.
I agree where the commando droid is on the list, one time In capital supremacy I threw down my smoke cloud and vibrosworded Yoda with Anakin and ended them with my blaster
I’m sure it’s a bug, but I might be wrong. The Commando’s repulser doesn’t concuss you when you get hit by it despite the description of the ability saying otherwise.
I swear, the Droidaka (I probably massacred that spelling) is bloody terrifying, it’s not unusual for me and an entire troop of clones to be slaughtered almost immediately
RC's need damage buff and faster transition from the right ability and vice versa.
Repulsive Blast is also too "meh"
If someone's right in your face, they are not effected, also, the range is a little too small.
I prefer the BX over the RC in bf2
They do not need a damage buff, that's why they have a repeater blaster. The blasters per shot is more than enough to compensate for damage output. Their middle ability needs to be fixed, because at 50% damage reduction, plus heal while damaging; especially with squads of them all together, it is too much lol.
I feel the right ability is perfect because it shouldn't be spammable and it shouldn't do a lot of damage.
To be fair though. Flame troopers are high risk/reward against Jedi/sith. Jedi/sith cannot block flame thrower weaponry like they can blasters, however to use the flame thrower you must be in lunging distance to hit them.
I think that when you role into someone as the droideka it should damage them or push them out of the way

I'd put that Commando Droid at number one, I've defeated Level-100+ Anakins that were cancer spamming, and even single retributioned me. *And still won..* That Republic Commando to me isn't nearly as good as the CD is. (In my opinion.) It's gotten me a 479 elimination game on Capital Supremacy. (Which lasted for 5 hours.)
If you ask me, I hate the clone commando. Yeah, they’re fun to play as but being on the receiving end is really quite annoying. The shield health thing is overpowered and makes them too difficult to take down. I also don’t like how the limit in a capital supremacy map is so high (I think it’s 4 or so). This is especially deadly when inside of the Capital ship because then they tend to be clustered and are basically unstoppable. I think their blaster does not need a range buff, they have the anti armor attachment for that. I’d say decrease their damage reduction with the Middle ability and decrease the amount allowed at a time

Whenever I play as any jet pack type of trooper I prefer the republic because it's a lot easier to handle and aim unlike the machine guns the other jumpers have
I like to say the commando Droid is a very versatile reinforcement the slow fire blaster has good range and allows for well placed sniper shot and is good in close combat with the vibro sword.
I think the blaster should be left as is. The Commando is pretty OP, not hating on it as I LOVE how they play and feel. Adds a whole new layer to the game which is just awesome. His abilities are all unique and really really good, thats why I think his blaster is fine where it is. Its a good trade off, sort of balances it.
