Celine really took me around the world with her French, Canadian, Mexican and slightly South African accent.
That's Québécois for you. I'm from Toronto Canada and was taught French but I can't understand Celine. I have an easier time with African French , Haitian French or Parisienne. But I love Celine.

Québécois is a variety of Canadian French with distinct characteristics and REGIONAL variations in vocabulary and speech patterns.
Celine speaks Canadian French and articulates her words beautifully. In our schools , we were taught to speak Canadian French, not Québécois.

Matteo’s Liza impression is iconic
I saw Celine in concert when she was still trying to find out what worked for her. So she was wearing boots, and some frilly dress from the 80's, and with backup dancers. To say she is not a dancer is an understatement. She was so gawky she was endearing. It still was a great concert and I was glad to see her before she became "CELINE DION" the greatest singer in the world.

I’m a Celine fan and a Taylor Swift fan. I have to admit when I watched Taylor snatch the award from Celine’s hand without even acknowledging her, I was mortified. I wish she (TS) immediately afterward would have issued some sort of apology on CZcams or Twitter or somewhere: “I feel so bad, I lost my mind, I was so overcome with excitement, my manners went out the window, I’m so sorry…” It definitely warranted an apology. Did she think the effrontery wasn’t that noticeable? Idk, but it really bothered me and I’m just an old lady sitting on my couch watching an award show.
I agree 100%. I was a big Taylor fan, but after that night and no apology the next day, I just don’t feel the same. You gotta take accountability, it’s just the right thing to do.
