Dude, I'm only 4:40s into and in your comment you go through the whole legality of the officer telling the sister to leave, but never mention that the officer hasn't yet told the actual person he wants to leave to do so. He has told the person he pulled over, and insisted that her sister must leave, but he hasn't actually informed that person of his wishes.
Then, I go scan the cases you reference and find that they aren't exactly applicable to this case. From what I can tell they seem to involve a person actually being in or in very close proximity to the scene or stop. You also conveniently redacted whole paragraphs that specifically exclude an officer moving a person along just because they are filming.
It is like you are almost trying to only tell the facts that support a narrative.

I'm curious about the initial contact, the deputy ran her license plate and pulled her over for expired insurance in which she actually had paid although it was a clerical error on the behalf of the county. Anyways is this an infringement on the 4th? I mean randomly running people's information and all. It seems to me like an easy way for a predator police officer to obtain someone's address where they could possibly do various acts on someone at a later date and or time, for example a pretty girl could be prayed upon

Oh, they already get a free pass for stalking.
And thanks to the Supreme corrupt court, they can strip search anyone with only flimsy reasoning.
Can't remember the case name, but the facts around it was when a man with a warrent was picked up at a routine traffic stop.
The guy had a bunch of coke on him that they failed to find at his arrest or at booking.
He made it into jail with it
So thesupreme corrupt justice used that as am excuse to allow police to violat our rights and subject the entire population to strip searches by any pervert cop.
He felt sacrificing our rights was worth it if it might cut down on some prisoners having a good time.

@@msdarby515 The thing is, everyone can tell that story and they got no immediate way of checking, if that story adds up. The sister could've also been some crazed lunatic pulling a gun and shooting the cop.
So in principle I can understand the whole "I want her gone for my safety"-argument, the cop doesn't know the sister.
And if the stopped sister replies "I want her to stay for my safety", imho the only logical way out is that a 2nd cop comes and at the very least supervises the sister and in friendly terms explains the situation.
That's why imho Officer Crawford, the 2nd cop in the vid, was acting unprofessional, he didn't explain it cordially.
And yeah, he was in his right to detain the sister, but imho he wouldn't have needed to do it, a "Ok, then I'll stay here and supervise you while my fellow Officer does his job" would've been enough to make sure, that his fellow officer is safe.

I know they do wrong but… let’s face it… they’re probably facing people with ego issues all day as well… and if they let that poison them and quite often the cop culture itself will poison them, well they have weapons and loads of ways to harm people. It’s a dangerous thing. Sometimes I think male majority groups turn toxic? It would be better to have a 50/50 force maybe. Something has to change. They want her to leave, for their safety, in case she suddenly decides to go postal. That's a legitimate concern, because many people are crazy. If she leaves, the safety concern is solved. And if they detain her, handcuff her, then the problem is ALSO solved. So it's not really about "hehe, she played a Uno reverse card", becase her LEAVING was not the ultimate goal. Her not being a potential THREAT was the ultimate goal.

It's a reason why many Police Officers are unfortunately absolute jerks with superiority complexes.
When they meet a veteran, someone who also had a uniform and badge from a job with greater perceived alpha-ness and well known to hold much more value and respect in the eyes of the public than police officers do. The police officer's fragile perception of their believed superiority and alpha-ness suddenly feels challenged. It triggers insecurity, jealousy and resentment. That fully brings out the jerk in them, leading them to act disrespectful.

I was once in a similar situation. I was helping a friend move so I was following him when he got pulled over (something about his plate or something). I passed them and pulled over 50 feet away and waited for them to be done. The difference in my case was the officer never came up to me. He accepted my friend's story, saw I wasn't doing anything or interfering and as a result everything was over in less than 10 minutes. No need for filing a complaint or anything. Amazing what a calm approach can do

By that you mean calm approach by the cop who pulled your friend.
Cuz the dipshit in this video was angry as soon as he stepped out of his car so he was gonna be a jerk to the lady with the kid anyways even if her sister drove away.
The problem was his ego got hurt cuz people didnt want to follow a stupid order from a person they have no respect and are visibly afraid of.
I dont owe them respect cuz of some uniform. They are strangers with guns and prone to violence.
Fact is if you pull out a stats graph there are almost more people being killed or harmed by cops than by gangsters or other criminals for the past 2 decades.

I think you are missing the point. It’s an opinion piece, but he also is letting the audience know what a court would likely rule because he’s explaining the law. Cops unfortunately can act very unprofessionally but still be well within the legal parameters of what the law says. Unfortunately cops have too much leeway thanks to the courts.

Yup - could have quickly explained the reason, and asked her to pull 100 yards ahead. Note the 2nd driver was needed because the 1st driver wasn't allowed to drive away. Given the department's response for this minor infraction, I suspect this isn't the 1st time these officers have received a complaint for misconduct.

I was stopped for speeding (I was following my dad, trying to catch up) a couple of years ago. Units came and my dad parked to the side. After my dad identified that I was his son, the police was like "oh ok, just stay in your car sir". Best response ever I seen from my police department. Santa Rosa Sheriff's office just all had a cactus up their asses.

That should have been the response here. Again this traffic stop allegedly was initiated as the cops knew she had an expired license. It should have been seen as a logistical godsend knowing there was a child with the mother and that the car would need to be towed and the driver not allowed to further operate. I've even heard of the driver being issued a citation and then allowed to leave with the vehicle as long as everything else checks out.

It also doesn't make sense. "I don't want you here, so drive up the road 200 feet to where I no longer see you, and you can ambush me with greater ease. She could have drove on up, did a Uturn, and drove up and down the street on from the other lane.
B- though. Two cops cursing at people they stopped, after running plates randomly without provocation, and then slam a door into the lady, and attempt to have her arrested for anything they can as a group come up with. And just in general being cowardly and unbecoming of an officer. B-. Cause "dats wut I like about Audit The Audit, is dey are unbiased".

I live in the county west of Santa Rosa and I can vouch that majority of those deputies are so rude. That situation could have gone better. Instead of the deputies escalating the way that they did, they could have been kinder and more respectable to that woman. Majority of the deputies here join the force right out of high school and don't understand the laws of the state and constitutional law.
