@@invictus88 I was gonna say it might be a stressful experience for them, being unfamiliar and etc. They dont have the reasoning we do and the smaller/prey animals will think they're being preyed upon, even if they're familiar with humans.

The goat's there because most llamas and alpacas get along with them, have similar diets, and as the other person said will often protect them if they're endangered. For what it's worth, you CAN actually crossbreed llamas with camels, but the resultant animal will be infertile.

Alot of these animals have never really seen each other before they are so used to seeing humans alot, the second they see another animal that not like them it catches their interest. I love the intelligence these animals show. While some couldnât care less, others show genuine curiosity to creatures they normally would never see.
Who knows, a beneficial result of this quarantine could be the discovery of unusual animal bonding and perhaps teaches us a thing or two about new animal behaviors.
