Every green deck be like:
Rachel is the triple threat: great player, great deck-builder, great host!
I think she let Gurav win too. 🤷♂️
More like boring how many times they’ve let her win, and nearly handed this one to her as well.
@@swrodgon lmao cope and seethe
Why are all commander decks looking the same..... that defeats the purpose... esper, jeskas, cyclonic, sol ring, mana crypt, ancient to b, etc etc etc
Omg yes Rachel with her deck, that was amazing.
I really thought Blanka was gonna take that with sheer burn damage, but Chun Li managed to turtle it out. Just like how it would be in Street Fighter.
Oh yeah, the Overload Cyclonic rift each combat is always fun and how I usually win my Commander games with Chun Li.

Who ever did the pixel intro - wow! I loved the look and feel.
Is Jake's Dockside play good enough to plummet its price? Let's hope so!
If anything it would get Dockside banned! such crazy value from a 2 mana drop!
I feel so bad about dockside I've seen it do so many crazy things in game knights before just to be turned into a bad rampant growth/ three visits
It's very sad that if a card does well or bad in this channel the price changes...
@@japoniano the price is based on the meta since if it's a heavy soccery/instant rampant meta it's useless but if it's an artifact meta its broken
love watching $80 cards doing nothing haha!
I'm glad we're getting more Rachel recently! She's great!
She is part of the channel now so it makes sense she's in the videos
@@Beefjerkey12345 AHH. well thank you for answering what would be my question!
Megatron being faithful to the canon: the very first thing his forces do is attack the Autobots, even in the face of a common enemy. And, of course, was justly punished so by being the first to fall, lol
Ignoring the fact he was mostly dealing with the main threat while everyone else was curtsying to her this game…
Assuming these decks were built before All Will Be One was released because Rachel's deck is a perfect home for Venerated Rotpriest.
Gross. Accurate, but gross.... Now I must build.
There were Brother’s War cards, but couldn’t tell you more than that.
This game was recorded before All Will Be One was released, but it's a place for Venerated Rotpriest!
There were so many little nostalgic moments that need to be recognised, so well done to the team for popping in all those little cheeky additions that made this episode! Brilliant intro ☺️
Yo! The production value in these episodes just keeps getting better and better. Shout out the VFX and art direction teams. Y’all are killing it!
Forreal
I Hope Rachel keeps getting the love. She puts in work in playing and presenting. She’s very committed to her craft. I hope she sees this and continues her good work 👍🏿
Rachel's deck was so good!!!!! Like wow her deck building is out of this world!
I definitely love Rachel decks, very impressive the way she builds and choose a commander
They need to start having a rule 0 discussion though when including Rachel.
Her decks are well built but typically far more powerful than the other 3 players at the board.
Except that Guarav kicked a Cyclonic Rift with Chun Li, it would have been a massacre…
@@Dragon_Fyre from my experience her power level is comparable to most pods, but she is just an impeccable pilot.
@@KYeung-be4lw Agreed. Rachel's decks aren't at some vastly different power level than everyone else (her deck in this episode comes in at around $300, really cheap for a TCZ deck and while not the best barometer it is somewhat telling). But she builds with such a clear vision for what it should do, which is better than most decks.
@@Dragon_Fyre Rachel had a very clear vision with her deck and ran it well. That doesn't mean much about power level, if you look at her list it falls hard to creature removal. That's more of a sign of how the other decks were built and threat assessment. Manson and Jake built their decks so aggressively that Guarav was forced into the spot of being the *only* one who could properly interact, that just means that in this episode Rachel took advantage of a table that wasn't built to slow her down much.
@@Dragon_Fyre Not true at all lol.
I opened the Howling Abomination in a set booster the other day and am midway through building the deck how I want it and BEHOLD Rachel shows up playing Blanka on Extra Turns! The serendipity! Great games guys
literally the same here
I love it when I go to build a commander and I can find videos of what gameplay with the deck might look like.
I had gotten it in a set booster as well, and completely underestimated it. Wasn't even thinking about a deck for it before this video.
@@Wolfen5207 Id say it is worth it! I got sick of my Feather deck so I canablized parts of it make the Howling Abomination (not the same list as Rachel because I put a bunch of heroic stuff in it to for the flavor) and the deck is very fun to play!
I put kediss and mizzixs mastery in my Blanka deck
Rachel plays all of her decks so well, it makes me want to build each one.
More battles that are fun like this. Me and my friends do this all the time challenging each other with different fun themes!!! Great video!
Saw the title and initially thought it would be twin headed giant commander, but I guess I was wrong
Same here was so happy and got my hopes up
Let me just say, I love the pixel art intro, love the game, and really laughed at the beard trimmer ad. Your effort in those ads where you act is noticeable and very cool.
that mana drain interaction though!!!!
I'm super happy to see Blanka piloted by Rachel. I've had the deck since receiving the secret lair and I'm even more proud Rachel's and my lists are almost the exact same. Her deck building is awesome and to see that I had the same ideas shows how far I've come in my own deck building. This made me feel great.
Great video, thanks! Hey, something really needs to be said about the god tier quality of your ads. Hilarious, always kept on brand and just so damn original!! Thanks to the entire Command Zone crew!
Really glad you like them! We put a lot of effort into making them fun
@@JordanPridgen effort well spent, it really shows!! Thanks, keep on keeping on!!
As someone who is working on their Optimus Prime deck and looking forward to building around other Transformers, this episode makes me happy.
Love the music in this episode! Brings back many a fond memory of playing Street Fighter II on SNES. Love it!
Love you guy's content! Keep up the good work Command Zone!👍
Great players all round. Legitimately just felt like a group of mates playing. Fantastic episode
Rachel playing my favorite commander makes me so happy.

“That’s pretty good. That could easily get through 29 life and 1 blocker.” 23:14 -Jake 😂
This format of sf vs tf is awesome, a great change of pace to keep things fresh.
Rachel is a great deck builder. Super smart hire by JLK
Omg that was an amazing match, good game to you all. I really enjoyed it, I am a huge Transformers fan and getting to see both Megatron and Optimus Prime in magic is amazing, my brother and I watch you guys play all the time. Keep up the good work game knights 😊
finally some music that doesn't make my ears bleed, whoever is responsible for the change: thank you.
Backstory: Street Fighter's bonus lvl destroy the car turned out to be a sleeping transformer, now the Transformers want vengeance!
My buddy uses Jodah The great Unifier as their transformer commander, the cascade and the buffs help the low powered transformers considerably :P
I enjoyed the pacing on this episode, it felt like action was happening on everyone's turn. Good work!
except Jake
@@twoneraps3352right? I said “what game were they watching?”
@@TheSPARTANusm 😂😂
Wished we could have seen more from Jake's deck! He could use a Morophon proxy as Primus to be on flavor
Chun Li has amazing late game scaling. Super good game.
I really liked how this episode started and went through all the way to the endgame. Rachel had by far the coolest deck and deserved a win for that but man Gaurav showed me again why I despise the Azorius reactionary playstyle.
Doing nothing for the entire game just to swoop in at the end, constantly bouncing and denying anything you do is just not fun, neither to play against or watch. Bravo to Rachel for taking it so well but after that game if I was in her shoes I wouldve been livid.
I'm much more annoyed by stax. But then again, I don't get upset when I lose anymore....I just get impressed. It can be a good way to learn from your opponents, and while I understand why other people have reactions like you did to this game I personally harbor no ill will or frustration. To me thats the risk of not choosing to have the rule 0 conversation.
Despite the outcome, I really enjoyed the Blanka deck the most. Always been a huge fan of commanders/decks that deal damage to the whole board and "spread the love" as it were. I'm not much of a Magic player anymore, but any time I get to see these kinds of decks is always nice.
As some one who plays a high power Blanka deck I'm very pleased seeing how this deck is built in a more casual fashion. No matter how you build it that deck is fun 😍
Loved that new updated intro and music this episode!
That blanka deck was super sweet. Gruul spellslinger... sort of. The Chun-li deck is one I have considered. you can do some weird things with her, like exiling Teferi's protection (there are strange ways to get it into the graveyard by making it a creature first and then killing it), meaning every time you attack, you phase out of the game, so noone can attack you ever, meaning, if your opponents have no alternative win cons, you win by default since they will draw out their deck before you do, because I assume you play some mill spells or X draw spells that target players, so force them to draw and then they die by default because they can't kill you so long as Chun-li gets to attack every turn. That is the only thing you need to make sure of, so a creature protection package needs to be there. But that sounds unfun to me, this looks fun though.
"meaning every time you attack, you phase out of the game, so noone can attack you ever"
They'll just kill you with Commander damage while you are defenseless.
@@benkenning1699 how would they deal commander damage if you are phased out
@@benkenning1699 Protection from everything means that nothing can damage you. It would require some effect that said "damage can't be prevented" to get the Commander damage to mark on the player who cast Teferi's Protection.
@@tierfunmtg Well for starters if a Player is Phased out it is as though they dont exist so they wouldn't even be able to target it.
There's a lot of directions Chun *can* go, it just comes down to whether the amount of hoops you have to go through is feasible for any given strategy. You gotta have the card (Mystical Tutor every turn with Chun is pretty funny, but then you gotta bounce her and recast to multikick more), put it in the graveyard (Ledger Shredder is actually phenomenal for this, it was cool seeing it put in that work -- and would also work for Teferi's), cast Chun with multikicks, then *next* turn attack with her (hopefully with some form of protection) and have the mana available to cast the spells (and the timing of it makes a lot of the more fun 'untap your lands' instants less practical), and *then* have some sort of actual wincon on top of that.
It's definitely a lot of fun, but it can be a lotta work, so if you aren't allowed to get your engine revving it feels real bad.
This is the matchup you never knew you wanted.
sweet game! i love the street fighter commanders tbh and it was great to see their designs stand out in this match!
Real shout out to Rachel! Insane deck with unique engines with no over the top cards
...esper sentinel, ledger shredder, fetch into underground, demonic tutor(karma for land), ancient tomb, dockside (karma both times), Mana drain, Vampiric tutor, Cyclonic Rift(Looped with commander), Fierce Guardianship, Flawless Maneuver(not that insane, but a free spell when he was tapped out to tap down her commander)
... It's interesting how you guys don't necessarily go for high power or CEDH; yet you play all these powerful/pricy cards that I'd rather keep out of my lower power games.
Imagine playing a game with the Street Fighter Secret Lair cards but still using the Mortal Kombat “Round 1, Fight!” voice line. 👀
They could careless, these are the same people who fell their viewers about “cards they don’t need” in commanded but persistently use those cards in every game they play. Must be nice getting funneled expensive/competitive cards for WOTC just to be their lap dogs. They don’t even discuss the current state of MTG and how it’s being destroyed from the inside. This entire game of commander wasn’t even that entertaining.
been running a very similar list to Rachel's Blanka for a few months now and I gotta say that thing is WILD!
What a fun episode - Rachel is such a pleasure to watch. A great addition to the team. Cool decks all around - Chun Li is dirty!
I think it's more of a "looping overloaded Cyclonic Rift" is dirty.
All the bonus points to the sound team for the transforming sound!
Those Esper Sentinel pings actually made the difference in Jake getting one more turn, wow.
Fun episode 🤙🏾 cool to see the street fighter cards that went under the radar
Maybe that was precisely the reason for this episode... Sell cards that are not selling well.
I was wondering when you guys would play these, awesome
When I saw the title, I knew this was gonna be a good one.
What a fun episode! Everyone's explanations/comments were fun and concise. Love it!
Video starts at 3:15
Transformers VS. Street Fighter is feasible when you realize the Fighters hung out with the guys from G.I. Joe (with Shadowloo joining forces with COBRA) and G.I. Joe joined forces with the Autobots against COBRA and the Decepticons. (FUN FACT: The G.I.Joe/Transformers crossover is also the origin story for how Bumblebee became Goldbug in the comics.)
Also...I need to figure out an idea for a multiverse deck which uses all these Secret cards from all these realities...
Okay but, opening with Guile's theme? Perfect.
ok ok... this is nitpicky (graet episode btw) but that ROUND 1 anouncement sounded more like Mortal Kombat hahaha
Whack that the one guy isn't even playing a Transformers deck but using Morophone as his commander instead.
It has to be a 5c commander in order to put all fifteen in the deck... I was considering building Jodah Transformers some time ago, and still think about it from time to time.
Sadly, Morophon's mana discount doesn't apply when casting the Transformers in their vehicle mode...
I wish we could go back to simpler times, when Wizards built on its own lore. Now it just whores out it's game to other IPs for a quick buck.
It's a little strange to me that most people seem not to care. Instead of expanding and fleshing out the lore of MTG it is being washed away.
Street Fighter vs Transformers
Just like when I was 8 years old playing with my toys!
New extra turns intro looks and sound beautiful. 👌
FINALLY. I've been waiting for them to try those cards in a game
WOW ! what a game i thought you got it in the bag Rachel
Extra Turns table view with cards on the sides and the frame, with Game Knights personality, mid game chatter and reaction shots would make this truly perfect.
Wow Chun Li was pretty cool. Didn't know it could do what it did. Blanca also very awesome. Great game peeps.
Enjoyed the episode. Wish Jake had piloted Optimus instead to be opposite of Megatron. Optimus can be a pretty resilient Voltron deck.
Jake wasn't kidding when he told me how bad he did in this game, you'll get them next time.
Man, Rachel is such a good deck builder and pilot. Great to have her on the show. Great showing from the rest of the gang too, especially spoilers
The azorius control win at the end.
Dude. I love to watch Mason playing. I never forgot the "mother of runes" in a Russian accent
That was a great match!
does the rift overload like
that if cast by Chun-Li's ability? Im sure it doesnt overload after it is exiled
It does if you pay for it. You have to pay all the costs for the spells you cast with Chun-Li which means you're allowed to pay alternative costs. You only don't get to overload if it says "without paying it's mana cost." like most cards that have a similar effect do.
Evo Moment 37, entirely recreated in card game form, impressive.
I love it keep up the awesome work
Love Rachel. Best part of this game hands down. The Blanks deck is also amazing. I’ll be building this.
That manscaped ad was great
On a bit different topic: while illustrating deck tech or playing any chance to have a word on how to arrange lands? Meaning how many per type according to deck specs.
I LOVE THE INTRO!!
Blanka is a very similar deck to my Stangg deck! I think I’ll probably just throw him in that deck as a secret commander
Megatron is an absolute blast to play as a commander.
Currently one of my more successful EDH decks, as many people I've played against with Megatron tend to not understand how good he is until you start flinging artifacts at them and generating tons of colourless mana.
Funny thing is Chun Li is actually one of my most successful decks and I'm glad they got to feature the Overload Cyclonic Rift each combat. I also have a Blanka deck so I will be seeing certain cards to add to my own.
I'm only at deck intros, and im already rooting for Morophon meets the eye. What a lad
Rachel’s deck was a beast! Fitting I guess for Blanca.
You should do the retro video game intro from now on love that
Yay! Faithful Mending! One of my favorite sneaky good cards! Two mana and it does so much!
I was certain Rachel had it but surprise ending! Very cool episode.
Would love to see a rematch with these decks
Jake's casual "Death to Tyrants" was pretty funny ngl.
Flavor fail: You used the sound byte “Round 1, FIGHT!” from Mortal Kombat.
At 18:18 why are cards being drawn for snake umbra?
Snake umbra just trigger happens if the creature it's attached to deals damage to a player, any kind of damage not just combat damage. And the trigger of her commander deal damage to players.
That grapeshot combo is so cool
I swear I think I still have whiplash from when Jake went with Morophon over Optimus.
I mean, I get it.
But still...
Was it just me or did the title make you think this would have been a two-headed giant commander game
" Shields are down and I punched people. Pass! " Now that's funny!
Love to see Chun-Li bringing home the victory! I actively try to avoid playing Cyc Rift with her because people will get very salty from just one being cast. Getting hit by one over and over and over... Can't imagine that's a good feeling lol
Chun-Li, Countless Rifts
The whole work was actually done by the card that taxes the opponents.
It was kind of boring tbh.
Love this channel
Why pop the esper sentinel and not pay if you were going to tutor for a land that remained untapped the entire turn cycle?
Just tutor, pay the tax and then pop.
"...cast Demonic Tutor.." "Ew."
I lost it here. 🤣
Should have called out the Spinning Bird Kick at the end!
Thanks, Jake Boss for not wearing and unnecessary jacket indoors.
I’m not sure if I should love this or hate this
What a boomer the Jake situation and the saddest dockside ever, nice match, I really love extra turns, you guys are definitely the best produced gameplay in the market
I mean there was zero reason to play that and not wait for it, using mana just for the sake of using it seems like a weird move by him
@@swrodgon he's essentially doing it get a treasure. Wich makes sense because he doesn't have land drops.
I think most pros would do the same. Since he wasn't gonna use that mana other wise and he has more cards in hand then he can cast.
When mana screwed.
Mana > cards in hand. Even if its mana you can only use once.
