- This is the first time I reacted to Taeyeon and prior to this, I had only really heard 3 songs or so from her. After this KV I can say she is one of my favorite soloists I have heard. Not sure why this KV hit so hard but I kept it pretty raw to convey some more emotion this time around. I don't know what everyone's first reaction to this was but this one was really an experience. Hope you enjoy!😊

i cried watching your reaction. it just the amount of awe you've been in touched me cause well she's my ultimate and only woman bias in kpop and she receiving more and more love internationally at her 16 years old career itself made me cry.
It's so crazy to me that people just know her as Taeyeon the soloist not Taeyeon the leader and Main Vocalist of legendary kpop girl group SNSD. Hahaha. I feel old, and this woman has made it!
What separates her from newer idols and even more skilled vocalist than her is her restrain. She understands that singing and music is not always about high notes and flexing. Her dynamics control is really amazing because she's able to play with emotiveness appropriate for the song which gets us in the feels.
FACTS, I am ashamed I am only really finding her BUT what better time than the present right!
More skilled vocalists? If it means some kind of vocal acrobacy and showing off, maybe. But Taeyeon is a musician doing songs. Still... her vocal skills are near perfection. And she is also smart. Smart singer who is going to keep her singing ability. Doing her thing professionaly continuoysly on top 15 years or more proves that.
20:12 is the Hotel del Luna OST titled "A Poem Called You"! one of the most emotional songs I've heard. Made me cry while watching the drama.

Glad you enjoyed Taeyeon's voice! It's been thrown around kpop a lot lately, but she is the origin story of the saying "she sings like she's been through 7 divorces". It was the description the composer Yoo Young Seok used to compliment how good Taeyeon is at conveying emotions through her singing.
She's good at making her voice very mature while singing as high as she does. You can tell she's seasoned by now so it's always pleasing to hear
Taeyeon's voice transcends. Even if you don't know korean, her voice is so emotional, soulful, and moving that it makes you FEEL. King Taeyeon! I get stunned every time i hear her sing and I've been a fan since 2007. Her ability to smoothly go from head voice to chest is flawless--easily my favourite female vocalists of all time.
Fantastic Vocal control between both registers. I have been seeing King Taeyeon pop up a lot recently too. Is this a reference to something by chance? I am still learning more about her 🤣
@@TJKReactsss if I remember correctly, it was a nickname that affectionately caught on within the fan base (Sones) which Taeyeon also used 😂 Basically, she’s a King for being one of-if not the most-successful and consistent vocalists in the game right now. No one has really outranked her since and she’s basically a gem in Korea. Plus, she’s also the leader of “The Nation’s Girl Group” Girls Generation! Her nickname is also ‘Korea’s Fairy’ because of her pixie-like visuals, but the more you get to know her as a person, she’s just a silly little dork with an ahjumma laugh 😂

There isnt an artist in Korea that doesn't know who she is. The leader of GIrls Generation, a legendary group from 2007 that walked the road so that future generations could run. They were pioneers in so many aspects of what kpop has become today. Her songs are commonly used by trainees to teach the importance of breath control, dictation and stability. Her tone is so warm and addicting to listen to. You can feel the emotions through her voice despite not knowing what she is saying.
I recommend checking out her live performance of 'Fine' where she goes acapella if you want to be even more blown away by her voice. You wont get copyright striked by the video as its not affiliated with any of the big company channels.

Each member are still relevant and excel on their current field (as soloist, actresses and entertainers) to this day even after 16 years . Other than that, they are also the most unfiltered and funniest girl group out there. Queen of variety shows.
Taeyeon is also part of all Girls Generation sub-units. (1) TaeTiSeo, still one of the best selling subunits. (2) Oh-GG with 4 other members.
She is also a part of SM's supergroup project called GOT the beat.

Don't worry about pausing either. I like it better when people pause to talk rather than keep going and miss great moments or subtle things during videos.
Only tiny thing I didn't really like is the background with leaves that you used for a good portion of the video, the flickering neon light really bothered my eyes for some reason, it was like my brain thought something was wrong with them. Weird. Probably just a me thing.
