Film Disription: In a mysterious universe, the Green Lantern Corps, an elite defense force of peace and justice have existed for centuries. Everybody is talking about how he was brave to run to toward the alien but im just thinking like, Hal is a test pilot. In his mind he came to a crash scene and saw a pilot that needed help.
Exactly my thoughts. He didn't know he was an alien until he saw his face and thought "screw it I'm this far"

I enjoyed this flick. To date, no one else has made a GL movie so theres nothing to compare it to. Really appreciative that someone made an attempt. Something is better than nothing...to me.

Luc Germain he wasnt awestruck, nervous or confused as seen by his acting, it did not even look like he found an alien but instead he found a person
This truly just proved in the moment his heroic nature. He was pulled miles from home in a terrifying way, brought to somewhere he didn't know and saw an alien inability strange ship. The alien seemed to pass out and his first reaction was not fear or confusion or even anger. It was "I have to do something to help".
The dash he does, no hesitation. Wonderful
Its a shame this movie tanked. It had so much potential and great actors.
I know. I rather enjoyed it myself. Before the movie, I didn't understand Green Lantern. Now I do.

Hal’s best friend is the clutch. Abin Sur was low key the goat. Not to mention Sinestro, hector. Bruh, this movie had a great cast amazing set up and phenomenal chemistry. In case anybody was wondering, Abin Sur is played by non other than Jango Fett from Star Wars Attack Of The Clones. Parallax was creepy & felt like a real threat. R.R. as Hal Jordan was perfect. Loved OA the other G.L. members.. Toma Ray, Kilowog and The Guardians. Oh yea, I loved the G.L. Power suits, it actually looked like life energy reacting from the user. Phenomenal design for the Power Rings.
So both DeadPool and the Director of Thor Ragnarok was in this movie :)

Right up there with virtually every marvel movie. Hell, in fact, even better than most. You could actually watch this from beginning to end and find it compelling, unlike 75% of marvel movies.

@@icerink239 in my opinion the first could have been better, the second is super boring, but with the third they had the chance to make Thor a super badass, the Ragnarok story is one of the most savage and dark historys in marvel, they could have make a kind of infinity war but only in the thor universe, instead of that they decided to show hulk's ass and make Valkyrie an alcoholic, the real thor is the one we saw in Infinity War.
Hal Jordan instantly touches the area where Abin-Sur was affected by Parallax. Why the heck isn't he infected?

I know most people from what I hear didn’t like this film but I luved it
I do like this movie, but I do have my criticisms of it. I think the movie is well cast and the special effects are top notch. This scene is in fact my favorite in the entire movie. However I think the writers of this movie tried a little too hard and try to jam too much story into this movie. I think it would have been better if it just focused on Hal and his induction into the Green lantern Corp like the very impressive animated movie "Green Lantern: First Light" did (And did very well.). A reboot of Green Lantern is inevitable (I feel that way because of Green Lantern being seen very briefly in "Justice League".). Hopefully it will be done better. I actually would not mind seeing Ryan Reynolds reprise the role, but thanks to the success of Deadpool that won't be happening. There are other people who could play the part (Channing Tatum would make a good Guy Gardener.)
