Interesting because the only use of the trombone from Mozart was in this, his requiem and Don Giovanni. The trombone was considered a sacred instrument of its time and was reserved for sacred moments like this and the famous dinner scene from Don Giovanni in which you can hear it clearly.

@@oscarlock5724 Not one my friend, Mozart used trombones in other works, yes mostly sacred music but here comes the interesting part. Trombones were considered, along with clarinets and basset horns, profane instruments, inappropriate for sacred works. Mozart introduced them on purpose, as an act of rebellion to defy the status quo, but also as an act of innovation and hallmark. Nice, great to hear! Actually, I don't really know. I suppose my teacher gave me some excercises which helped, but I don't really remember. Perhaps playing some pieces like a fugue where you have to switch fast?
