    what are some basic tips for a Trombonist? My teacher says I should play louder, but i think its the guy next to me. Can i have tips just in general on playing excellent like you?

    • @tychoriddersgames
      @tychoriddersgames Před 5 lety +1

      I don't know how loud you play, but most of the time you need to play with more air instead of playing louder. This way, your sound gets "broader". It's really hard to do and really hard to explain so you should ask your teacher for more clarification, but I hope it helps :)

    Hello I'm a trombone player in a concert band playing in second sector.
    I'm wondering if i should invest in a second hand trombone and what kind of trigger should i use axial flow or rotary vaulve
    Also what kind of brass should i get a yellow brass or silver?

    • @ManuelNaegeli
      @ManuelNaegeli  Před 8 lety

      +roller blading productions Great to hear. I'd recommend to start with a second hand trombone if you aren't sure what you like and buy another one later, when you know what you prefer and like. I can't give you a recommendation for the trigger, both should do the job. And I prefer yellow, gold or red brass over silver, but that's just my taste.
