So that's what trombones hear in the back of the orchestra? Wow, that's so different from what I hear as flutist! (I'm placed 1st row)
Sometimes percussion players play the crash cymbals in my ear reeeeeeeee
Yeah I play euphonium and I never know what the stuff we are playing is supposed to sound like until I hear a recording.
I sit next to the clarinets and this one person squeaks a bunch in my ear and it’s hard to follow along some times (flute)
Yes! As a flute player, I always wonder what it sounds like behind us. Sadly, the only time we are heard over the rest of the band is when we climb into that upper register and camp there. 🤷🏻♀️
@@funfactguy731 A trombone plays in a symphonic orchestra what r u on lmaoo
DUDE YOU ARE TOO COOL. DOESNT EVEN MATTER IF YOU WERE PLAYING 2nd
Chloe Narcis Haha, thank you :D
Who can dislike such a video

Love the sound quality of the whole enitre group. Ive been playing tbone for 7 years.
From watching theses videos I'm thinking about getting a GoPro for our trombone player.
Great idea! :)
You and the First Trombone look like you could even pass off as a James Bond.
funnydummy1234 Haha, thanks.
I love how the guy on your left is really getting in the music. I used to play euphonium and tuba in my high school band. I always played like that dude on your left, really feeling the emotion through the music
Baritone here, and I do a similar thing. I never am uninterested in the music
Too bad euphonium parts are always shitty.
Uhm... your "about page" says amateur.... either you're being incredibly modest or swiss symphonies are amazing
Ha, thank you very much! I'm really just an amateur. There are like three professional musicians (one of them is the 1st trombone, my former trombone teacher) and some music students in the orchestra.
Either way you are pretty awesome. You seem like a cool guy too!. I'm only in it grade so I have a lot of work to do to get on such a level as you guys
Dude, I'm 13 and your videos inspire me! These videos are the greatest I've seen on CZcams! I'm a trombonist and I also play baritone and tuba. These videos are great! Keep up the great work!
Ryan B Thanks for the nice words!
Ryan B I play baritone to
Ryan B I play trombone
so, are you still in band now that you’re 17?
Ryan Francisco - I was going to ask that too.
I got my symphonic winds band to play A whip lash medley and when I introduced it we had backing music by the staff and I said not quite me tempo and then we rocked that house!
I must show this to my son who plays trombone (as well as percussion). My oldest son showed me this video (he's the clarinetist and oboist of the family). Great video! I appreciate hearing the band from a different perspective. I'm down front on my quiet little flute. Please keep making more of these videos. 😁
It's really cool hearing what the trombone section actually plays. As a percussionist I only ever get to hear the piece as a collective. Awesome !
A very attractive trombone section lol. Anyways I've been playing trombone for about 5 years now... I love it!
Haha, thanks a lot. Great to hear, keep going!
I play in my 6th grade band, and have always looked up at these things, I love orchestral bands. Great job! It's really cool !
Thanks, great to hear.
This song is almost as long as the entire film franchise
Nothing beats a live band!
I'm 13 and I'm a trombonist and I'm the only female player in my school and we played James Bond in our performance but it did not sound close to you guys but I love these kind of videos keep playing 🙃
Thanks and nice to hear, I'm sure it was a great perfomance! :)
What school?
Hey were is my tenor and picolo trombone players at

This brings back memories! I last played this arrangement in 1994 in my area youth orchestra. I can still remember the 1st trombone part!
love watching your videos... just started to learn trombone and they inspire me so much x
I have watched this 20 times in the past two weeks. Like no joke
Awesome man! You were born to do this!.
Awesome Video man, and a perfect 4 songs from James Bond to display along with the video! Totally Sic!!!! Two Thumbs UP!!!
I'm in 6th grade and I play the bassoon, you are really good at the trombone, keep going 👍🏼👍🏼
That was definitely different and interesting!

It's not my fault that Luke secretly plays Timpani.

+Austin Mann lel yeah ltt doesnt pay well enough

What a great idea to put a gopro on your instrument! I personally play piano in a youth Orchestra and we're playing this piece as well. Thanks for sharing this :)

So fitting to have tom cruise next to you
I’ve watched three of these, and I don’t remember him emptying that spit valve once.
This very cool, and ur sound is amazing...someday i want to get to that level!
I played trombone here in Portugal! cheers ;b
+João Barbosa Thank you! Great to hear, you'll be soon on that level.
Anyone else see Luke from LTT in the Timpani player?
Alex Xie maybe this is his new job after LTT
geniali idee!
Nice 1.....
Nice selfie-stick man 😉
I stopped drinking my milk for this
wow
This video is awesome!!! I play trumpet, but still, trombones can occasionally sound good, and you do!!
Don't you mean always?
It really just depends on the player. 99% of trombonists are sub-par, but the 1%, they are just incredibly. That is why I used Occasionally.
Spencer Moore I'm in a band where low brass is just amazing and the trumpets sound like dying cats I thing it depends on the person and mindset I think in all instruments it's 50/50
JAMES BOND IS AWESOME!!!! #007
Where is this? Is this clip from a rehearsal or a Live performance? I play the Tuba for 5 years (in school; not anymore now) and i imagine what if i were to put a gopro on my Tuba? Lolols.
PS: U play the Trombone well and u're cute too!! How old are u? 😄😄😄 U got a FAN all the way from Singapore!
+Jassy Brightside That's a live performance in the Kulturcasino Bern, Switzerland.
Haha, thank you!

I play trumpet in 9th grade I also want to play trombone just cuz it looks cool
@@porg7063 I'm in 10th and I've been playing for 6 years it's worth it🤘🏻
When you were resting your trombone on your knee, the GoPro made you look like Daniel Craig
Kannst gut spielen! Ich spreche aus Erfahrung!
5:28 goldfinger
I play contrabass clarinet and bass clarinet in 8th grade and I wish to be as good as u at playing
I'm a trombone and tuba player and I use a Gopro so what mount do you use for these videos. Your videos are really cool and I want to do that too with my horn
the dislikes are just Australians that liked the video
The name's bone. Trom bone.
2:07 mmmmm trombone condensation/ spit
umm didn’t know James Bond played the trombone :P
esplendor.....Go-pro
Sounds like you need to release that 'Water' valve.

I played 2nd trombone (1st on the right, me in the center and bass trombone on my left).

Nice selfiestick
spy by day... stake and shake manager by night... (takes off blazer)
My favorite part is1:11
Wow, amazing tone quality. I'm currently in eight grade jazz band and The highest band -navigator- , and i consider my self decent for my age; (first chair in a seven trombone band, and first in all county although didn't make all state.) I currently have a Bach which isn't the greatest but also isn't that bad, and I'm using a 48 mouth piece, which is Yamaha? Any tips or excersize I could do to improve my tone quality or any improvements to my instrument I could make? It's a normal Bb trombone. Thanks
Is it a large born horn? Try a Bach 5g mouthpiece or even a 3G if you can
+Dylan Gibbs Hi. Im not sure if you still have this problem because it has been 4 months, but if you do, I would like to help. Im a trombone/tuba/trumpet/horn/sax/baritone player in my band, and I have played these instruments for at least 4 years on almost all. On trombone, I personally try to drop my jaw to a point were it sounds good, and use good, rich warm air to support each note. Hopefully this helps!
You are good
+Marcus Castro Thank you!
We’re playing super hero’s r us and we have this in the song uwu
What is that song at the 3:34 mark
Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney!
It's the Theme from James Bond Live and let die
James Bond
The 2 guys beside u they hav different parts??
Yes, exactly. It's 1st, 2nd and bass trombone from left to right.
Huhu
On the right James bond had to escape so he joined the orchestra
you are in Orchestra
what company dose your trombone mine a king
It's a Bach 42A Stradivarius trombone with a Hagmann valve.
Anyone know what kind of trombone he uses?
I use a Stradivarius Bach Model 42 trombone with a Hagmann Valve.
It looks regular
Dylan Gavaldon 123, By “regular” do mean just tenor or what?
What is that instrament to the left of the trombones. Also, do you have any tips for me because i am playing trombone in 6th grade.
+Ben Rosasco That's a contrabassoon. Well, great to hear. Practice is always important, but so is fun. I'd recommend to start playing in an ensemble if you can, but perhaps you already do.
+Ben Rosasco im in 6th grade and i play trombone too.
dont practice till you get it right, practice till you cant get it wrong - Trombone Player
+Ben Rosasco And don't be worried if your practice doesn't make "Perfect" Practice simply makes slightly less awful, but it's always worth it -Trombone player during audition week.
Im a trombone player in 6th grade too but my teacher wants me to skip concert band and go to symphonic because of my commitment to band like going for practice in the mornings etc.
Is this your full time job or is it just an afternoon thing?
Just an afternoon/weekend thing :)
I play trombone
Doesn't the GoPro weigh down the trombone end?
+Komod12345 Yes, it does, but I got used to it after a while.
how r u mounting the camera on slide?
I'm using the GoPro Handle Mount and the Frame as case.
You get a slide protecter, the one that goes on the end, and hot glue the gopro mount to slide protecter
***** thanks so much for quick response! are you by any chance using any other filters , post color correction on the footage? it looks great!
***** Yes, I used one of CZcams own filters, it's called Cinemascope. By the way, you've got some great videos, I really liked your versions of Happy and Get Lucky.
