- I want to get to know y'all better so I'll start! Here are 50 fun and interesting facts about me! Yes, I am an orthodox Jew, a mother of three, a homeschooler, and the mother of a child with type one diabetes. But there's so much more!!! I knock out some basics at the beginning (though they are important!) and then quickly move on to more interesting and random facts.
Be sure to watch the whole video because these fifty random facts about me go fast and you don't want to miss! My favorites are sprinkled throughout, and I would LOVE to hear what your favorite random fact about me is.

I must say you lost me when you said you let your children know about Harry Potter, and you read the Torah how do you mix dark and light??? Harry Potter has nothing to do with God. I am not Jewish, but i am a Woman of God and i do know that light & dark will never mix together. Dark is considered evil....light represents pure, holiness and being one with God. I will tell you this you are stumbling on something that you should not entertain in your home and around your children or anywhere else.

@@sisj.ruthseth4533 Harry Potter is a good versus evil saga of great imagination and fun. Good triumphs; so it's all good. I was a Harry Potter mom and years later a Twilight Mom. The Twilight books though about vampirism are written by a nice Mormon lady so lighten up, for heaven's sake!
Although I was a public high school English educator for over twenty years, I still managed to teach almost one thousand students over the years to play chess in class.
I'm from NY, my husband is from MI and we met in South Africa!
@@sisj.ruthseth4533, Chana is truly a woman of God! I too am a woman of God. I also share this love with her. I've heard my share of arguments and criticism from many over this fact. All I can say is that in the same way that C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia is filled with mythical characters and magic the story isn't about that, it's about good vs. evil, and that is the message throughout all of the Harry Potter series.
Until you (not just you, but anyone) have read them, it won't look to be anything else but magic and darkness...unfortunately that's the cause for almost all of the criticism I've experienced. I mean no judgment at all. I just wanted to maybe help you to understand as I do know well the carefulness with which we must remember and treat issues that contradict the light of God vs. the darkness of this world.

Good morning friend. I have been watching you for a few years, but, never saw this video from 4 years ago. Loved hearing all your random facts. The most relatable one for me is learning to play poker from Grandpa at a very young age. Being the youngest child of 3, the poker face definitely helped deal with 2 older brothers!

Another wonderful video. Thank you for sharing these facts about yourself. I related to many of them. Your three Iron Man races and ultramarathons are quite an accomplishment. I didn’t start running until I was 30. In 2005 I did the New York City Marathon. It was so emotional. I’ve done at least two dozen half marathons and in 2019 did my first two sprint triathlons. I love that you own your age. I always say the same thing and I am proud to be around. My reasoning is that there are a lot of people who never make it this far and that I am fortunate to have had all this experience. When people hear this, they usually shut up pretty quick, lol. I first watched your 10 things We don't do in our Homeschool video and I was nodding my head the whole time because I've been homeschooling for five years and I don't do most of those things either (except go to the library. We love our libraries). Anyway, I loved it because I felt like someone else was speaking my language. Anywho, I'm also an INFJ and I wonder if that's a factor in our similar homeschool setups. :D

Omgosh. My daughter and I are infj and enfj. I’m slightly the e, but just. And literally last night finished the draft of my first cozy mystery 😀. I adore hiking but can’t now due to respiratory dystonia. I followed Zola Levitt from the 80s until his passing. Am from Va and have family in TX. Lots more similar to you. I’ve been cooking and baking GF for more than 20 years. I have learned so much from Angela Garnacz’s book, “Perfectly Golden”. Most of the recipes have adaptations for GF, dairy-free and vegan. It has great information about different types of GF flours

Yes, I will be watching more of them since your energy, humor, and personality are so interesting. A little info about me: I am born Jewish, Chinese, and Russian. I'm not ultra orthodox, didn't grow up religious, began attending a conservative shul in 2012, my husband and I observe Shabbat and high holy days, and we've been to Israel. Also, weird coincidence that your favorite facts about yourself are numbers 11, 26, and 46. My birthday is on November 26th (1975) and I'm 46 this year (well, for another month or so). Anyway, I look forward to learning more about you as I binge watch your videos. You definitely have a new subscriber in me!
Also, I forgot to mention that I don't know how to ride a bicycle. My husband was hit by an 18 wheeler/big rig while he was riding his bike when he was 29. Understandably, he has not been on one since and I never had a desire to learn. I just thought it would be interesting since you're a cyclist.

My husband and I have a mini-fridge in our bedroom (in which we keep bottled water and a few snacks), but whenever I want to save some delicious food item for myself .. yes, I take it from the main kitchen fridge and I hide it in our mini-fridge 🤫🤐

I also like carrots and broccoli, but only RAW! My family and I tried gluten-free cornbread for the first time recently, and it was really good!! Thank you for your videos-they are great! I was an Au Pair for a Jewish family in my early twenties and it was awesome! They included me in almost everything and Shabbas was my favorite. Did I say that correctly? 😋

I am with you. 50 and proud mama and nanny. Doctors are my life one of my children is Autistic. Severe. With Cerebal palsy and epliepsy and left side hemiplegia.

I finally figured out what I want to be at the age of 38. So I went to Beauty School with 18 year olds. They were 4 years older than my daughter.
Then in May of 99 my whole world fell apart. My husband was killed in a single vehicle accident 5 blocks from home. I took time off school but I knew how excited he was for me to finish so I finished right before Christmas. I know he was smiling down on me.
Now I’m disabled due to other health issues.
I loved you 50 things. I laughed so had at some.
I have a grandson who is T1D, I too hate it

Haha! I hate coconut, too! LOL For all the same reasons. I even avoid cheesecake with the coconut border. I also get angry when people complain and don't do anything about it. It's precisely why I gave up life coaching. People don't actually want to step-up. It was so debilitating and demoralizing.
Hi friend! Our family eats biblically clean and uses biblically clean products, and we shop Koshe. We have a store in Conroe called “Granary” that’s been really good to purchase biblically clean. I don’t see Kosher specifically on all labels, but I do know that the owner of our Granary in Conroe is Torah observant and at least doesn’t sell products with pork. Anyway, I was in Granary today, and they posted the locations of all their stores. I saw one in East Texas and thought I remember you mentioning that you’re in East Texas. Granary has a location in Tyler. Hope all is well with your family! Praying for your healing!
