I'm REALLY HAPPY that BRP let you do the demo and other test. You and Vic are Top Ambassadors Spyder/Ryker community.
Appreciate your candid thoughts and opinions of the Ryker CB. I always say, "Hey it's a Scoots McPoot!" when I see a scooter rider.
You can't go wrong buying a Ryker. If you're new to the sport or an old boomer like me, the price of admission is well worth the fun. It's so easy to ride yet plenty sporty for you hooligans out there. Have to sell mine due to health and it's killing me but don't want to let it sit. It deserves to be ridden. Will still tune in but it hurts a bit to watch.
I loved your beep Coach. So funny. I used a regular Ryker for the safety course training and it was fun. I feel more secure on my Spyder sea-to-sky and more comfortable. For me, the whole point of my 3 wheel adventure is to share the experience with my wife and little dog. The back passenger comfort and dog bag for us is a must!
Loved Speed Racer. Used to run home after school to watch it. Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer, Go. WOW, wasn't expecting that.
You do the best product reviews. Very honest and straight. Thanks.
Hey coach , the white wheels are my favorite part of my rally. I think they make it just my opinion rode two wheels for 40 years still have one in garage but at 60 the ryker is so relaxing to ride all those things you mention i do
Great no holds bared video. About the ride, I notice your voice trembles on the Ryker but not so on the Spyder? Got to ride a brand new one when I retook the skills course, as a refresher, and it was a blast! I think if people could get over the "it's not a motorcycle" mindset more young people would discover how much fun you can have.
Prayers for your friends family. Sorry for their loss. Learning to ryde & loving my first motorcycle the Ryker 900. Thanks for all your tutorials.
I disagree about the power levels, the stock rear tire is junk which is why it loses traction as much as it does. Put a better tire on it and you can bump that power up no problem. I don't think power steering would really work. One of the first thing I did was add more lighting when I got the Ryker. I did the fender lights that double as blinkers too. Yes, the glove box is way to hot for anything with battery's or anything that will melt.
My god the fuel gauge is embarrassing. I've told BRP they can't keep raising prices and making excuses when they have things like the fuel gauge not even working.
Great video and comments...... I love the my Yellow Ryker ...great for small trips , great for the city , enjoy the riding with no worries , Put my camera and ride to chase pictures ,, could have a bit bigger mirrors ( I am changing mine), and yes the windshield is a great thing, love the time on the road...( i have a steering damper) that make feel it more smooth. Agreed with your light comments and I have the sticker changed to include lights . There is also an Insulators for the glove box / we all agree on the fuel gage a waste a time and I have a 2021 and we all keep track of mileage to insure we tank up base on mileage not gage. there is many upgrade that you mentioned that I have done , including a skid plate .... but I do love my ryker for the usage I do. Alain & Yellow
Well my wife traded her problem Ryker for a F3T and is very happy she made the change. I think the reason they beep in reverse is because they don’t have a back up light. Fun machine but hers just had an issue they couldn’t figure out!
I went out on mine 1st time today after having a Full Knee Replacement in June. Felt Awesome
I just spent 8 hours in the 3 wheel safety course on a Ryker Rally. It really was fun. Simple. I want an F3 for touring, but I really like the Ryker.
Thank you for the great videos on the Ryker.
Good honest report Coach Bob. It seems they took the fuel gauge from a new RT limited, 2023 model, and reversed it on the ryker. At 1/8 of a tank I can only put in 3 gallons of fuel! It shows around 100 miles before empty, but when the bar on the gauge is almost at EMPTY it is a bit disconcerning. The F3 limited I had the fuel gauge was spot on and three years older. So it makes no sense why BRP can not make a better fuel gauge.
Thanks Coach Bob
Good stuff CB. I'd love to see BRP give you a shot at the F3S. That's what I'm trying to decide between, or the Ryker. I can see both, but got to choose one first and for how I expect to normally ride, the Ryker would do what I want.
Your four points for improvement are all spot on I think. The fuel guage should have never left the design table like that. Well, you and CV have a great Saturday. God bless, Rob
Thanks for the great content on the Ryker Rally. I enjoyed mine before I traded it in on my Spyder. Safe journey!
Thanks for the awesome video. Could you do a video on a com system between the rider and passenger by any chance? So far what I'm researching has been quite vague. If you get a chance.
Bran and I had a pair of Buddy 125s. Compared to other scooters, they were pricey and required an MC endorsement but, if you needed to, they could cruise at 60 MPH. (I wouldn't recommend maintaining that speed more than a few miles with an engine that small.) While fun, they were a whole different world than a Ryker. [Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.]
No bling just wanna be SEEN led headlights/marker lights 👍🏽
Good job coach hope you are getting a R/T LIMITED
Did you get any video of Coach Vick riding a Ryker?
I like the Ryker but have never been a fan of CVT’s!!!I do like the shaft drive though! Spyder is better for me!
😊 On a video can you address this Are there any things we should check to see if screws are tight and were are any gease zerts are places we should oil😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊Happy Riding 😊
Speed Racer... awesome!
I have a 2022 F3. Would a Belt Tensioner help stop the vibration 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Go speed racer go
Hey CB just wondering, how much do you ride your 2 wheelers vs your Spyder. Do you find yourself riding the 2 wheelers less and less?
Excellent review!!! Does the ryker tend to wander side to side less or more than your RT? Thanks!
Just curious, how many miles did you put on that Ryker? Can’t wait for the S2S reviews.
bet his next ride wii be a sea to sky.
Go speed racer, go!
ShowChrome makes all the turn signals for the Ryker and Spyder
Thanks for another great product review. I wanna ride one
Speed Racer?
