My wife has the Ryker Rally. I have a Spyder RT. My only problems with riding hers. Is that, I’m 6’1, and it sits too low to the ground for me and the steering. It’s great for her. She loves it. She added a comfy seat, side case and top case.
The Ryker videos are great! You are passing along some fantastic information on the Ryker.
I appreciate that!👍👍👍
Nice analysis Coach. Thank you!
Had my Ryker rally since 2019… love it - such a sporty and fun machine.
Thanks Bob - your answering some of the many questions I've considered about the Ryker
Nothing wrong with 1976, my only wish apart from turning the clock back, I wish I could remember more of the greatest music ever released.. Coach, not wishing to promote anything but Ive just invested in the Brake Free Light. I bought it for myself but given where I am personally, its now a permanent fixture on my sons lid & also on my Brother's who's just visited from NZ & gave my sontwo days Spyder tuition (given he's had on for 8 / 9 years now) .. Quite possibly the best 2 / 3 wheel safety mod released in years.. ( I also intend to put brake light LED strips in the rear wheel arch of my / my sons F3-S ) Take care fella, wishing yourself & CoachVic Health & Happiness..
I love the music from the 70's. I am currently going through all of the Steely Dan music. It is quite wonderful.
In reference to your kindness and generosity shown to your son. You're a kind gentleman. I pray your life is improving. It is always great to hear from you my friend. CB3
Hopefully you will keep the Ryker , keep the vids coming. 👍
I know what you mean about people gathering around your bike. Last trip I was on, the entire restaurant including the cooks were out in front checking out the Tilting Motor Works. I told my buddy I should make up cards explaining how it works so I don't have to keep repeating.
I don't think I have ever seen one in the wild!! It has always been a model in a show. I bet you get a ton of attention and questions!!! 👍👍👍
Thanks. I love my ryker 900. Learning to ride
You're awesome!!!!👍👍👍👍
Another fantastic video, thanks Coach Bob. When taking the Can-Am 3 Wheel Riding Course this spring the Ryker and Spyder models we were using had Hill Hold Control (HHC). It automatically stops you from rolling backwards when stopped on a hill. Peace☮ David.
CVT clutch engages at 1800 Rpms. I always rev blimp before I take off, it helps with the clunk sometimes. With the motor being set more forward, you don't get all the heat you get on the spyders or other bikes. I commute all the time on my Ryker in my city, it rides great and works out fine for me. I do questions the brakes though, but coming from the Brembo's that the spyders have, it's a pretty big difference.
I sincerely hope you and yours all stay safe in the upcoming weather. Being from South Louisiana, I know how bad hurricanes can be. Stuff all the goodies in the garage and batten down the hatches.
Why shouldn't you be listening to KISS? I blast KISS all the time in my Slingshot! ;) Again, a nice " 'round the town" vehicle but, I don't think I'm ready yet for long trips.
I agree!!! I love KISS... I am particularly fond of "Rock n Roll Over" and the first "KISS Alive" album. 👍👍👍
More of a "Destroyer" fan as far as albums go. And any of the "Alive" albums. :) @@CoachBob3
Excellent video, I just wish I could have made the Spyder work for me, but I'm as happy as a pig in a poke with my (N.T.M. ) Harley.
I look forward to getting together and hearing about what constituted the change. When swim season is over...we need to meet for lunch. 👍👍👍
@@CoachBob3 Pick a day any day and I can ride up to Perry for lunch or dinner, or we could plan to meet over in Daytona in October if your going over there this year.
You Go CoachB!!! Thx for the insight!!
As always, great content.
Just got musta 2016 Spyder f3 L, hight miles, but runs like a champ!
Thx for the great videos, and God Blrsd your Family!!
F3...Awesome!!! Thanks for the comment and well wishes!!! God bless ya!!!
Some solid info for future Ryker owners. Keep up the great content.
Another Awesome Video Coach Bob😊
I’m guilty of decelerating without braking on my Rally. I mean, it would come almost too a complete stop on its own. The brakes probably would’ve lasted a long time had I kept it. With my Spyder F3, it will coast a long way off the brakes aren’t applied so I’m on the brakes a lot more. Totally agree that the Ryker doesn’t cook the rider like the Spyder. Rode the Spyder in 100 degree heat the other day and my legs felt like the were actually burning after an hour.
Looks great CB3! God bless, Rob
When I got my license for a 3 wheel, it was on a Ryker, but my legs are too long for this bike. But it is a bast to ride.
I Love Crusing on my Ryker around Town.
Great review as always. I never leave home without the Brake Free on my helmet.
I really need to get one. 👍👍👍
I have the brake free light on my helmet. Riding my Rally in Tampa area. I love my Ryker, so hot here but I still ride. Steering stabilizer works great!!!
Right on!👍👍👍
You are making me want to consider buying a Ryker
Hate to say this. They do get hot. I have a song I sing in the Florida summers, "My A$$ is on Fire". Especially on long rides. Excellent review though. Now go get a long distance ride in ya.
If that storm gets bad come get some Boudin in Broussard Louisiana. How long would it take to get here and a trip that long would you stop like in Mississippi than go on😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I am thinking it's 6-8 hours. It would be a great ride...and well worth it for some boudin with friends. 👍👍👍
Thats one thing I've had no craving to ride on, the highways (402 401 403) series highways up here in Canada. Though I know maybe next year I'm going to start in order to get my full license. Too many stages to get the full motorcycle endorsement up here
Motorcycle endorsements here in the states are very easy to get, generally speaking. Major/Busy highway riding is not my favorite type of riding. But, there are many times that it is necessary.
I hope you get your endorsement and the motorcycle of your dreams. Build your skills slowly and enjoy every moment of your riding experience. Thanks for this comment. I really appreciate it. 👍👍👍👍
Hi from London Ontario.. love my ryker
@@strictlyred thats awesome I love my spyder, but the ryker can be a fun machine, I work out of london, perhaps one day we shall meet.
Till then, ride safe.
@@CoachBob3 anytime cb3, I've always enjoyed your videos as does my wife.
It’s about 1850 rpm before the clutch engage the belt.
Hey coach when will you do a review about on a F3 Can Am.
I have not done Expressways. Like to stick to the Back Roads.
1 more ????? I have a F3 Limited for 8 months. I only went 35 miles one way. When it get cooler ( haha) I thought it was Funny 😁 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 but to go on trips of 100 to 350 miles. I could trade it in and won’t have a note ( my note now is 200 a month) but I won’t be really be traveling they much 😊 mostly around town 😊. I sure appreciate your advice 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
How far would you go on your Ryker.100 to 300 miles
I could easily do the 300-400 miles in a day. With a windshield it could even be reasonable. I would definitely ride a Ryker before taking the plunge. The F3 has more weight, it is quite formidable and significantly more comfortable at highway speeds as a result.
I will soon have more definitive answers on the touring aspect. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍👍👍👍
So
I know you have been busy. However a while back, Myself and others asked if you could do a video on how you map out you long trip and then download the route to the Garmin. Did I miss this video, or is it something you still working on?
You didn't miss it.... I am slacking!!! I hope to get it done soon. 👍👍
@@CoachBob3 Thanks Coach! looking forward to it!
Watch that listening to Kiss. You're showing your age.
😎 I know!!! Where did the years GO? 😆
What's your opinion on the rally suspension. I know they note ryker on the firm side but would you recommend this for someone with sciatica or back issues or only spyder?
Does it have a stabilizer or sway bar ?? I noticed your bike doesn’t go side to side 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
No sir...It is "bone stock". I find it quite stable at all speeds. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍👍👍
Tks. Tell Coach Vic Hi. Y’all are a Blessing 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
