I really support your theory and made up something similar by myself too. Just one more thing:
I am 100% sure, that Roger/the Janitor in fact killed the hanging man.
There are two very decent hints to this. First of all: in the same room where the man was hung, there lies a pair of shoes... And do you remember from an earlier video of yours who the shoe specialist of the maw is? Right! The janitor.
Another point is that we know that the janitor HATES the clocks, because they are so loud. A little before the hallway with said clocks in which we run away from the janitor is a room, which has holes in it's ceiling and some destroyed clocks. The clocks were split in two pieces: One standing/lying on the ground and the other one HANGING on a rope in the air.
The janitor hated the clocks, so he "killed" them, by hanging them. The same way he could have murdered the hanging man!
(Also it would have been quite easy to hang the man with his long arms)

I think the hanging man was in charge of tracking sixâs journey for the lady. He lives near where six starts (potentially where she was last seen) and both stations monitor important point in sixâs journey. Perhaps instead of being killed by higher ups, he was killed by some unknown person (maybe the guy that peeks through the door) to help six.
The guy who peaks through the door isn't a person, it could just be meat wrapped in cloth (revealed in out of bounds gameplay of little nightmares)

Idea: Who is the mail person in Little nightmares 2?
(If you dont know what I'm talking about I'm talking about a trophy you get when you deliver a package to a door and a hand grabs it in chapter 4)
Theory:Shadow Six is raincoat girl and, Mono and Pretender are siblings and why did Six drop Mono:In the nest we see a picture of Pretender with two people behing her I believe that that's hanging man because of the smiliraties in the legs and there being a picture of Hanging man in the Nest so we can say Hanging man being Pretender's father and we can say that Nest and Maw has some type of connection because we see the same dolls that are from Nest in the the Maw so Hanging man had some jobs before he killed himself in the Maw or decided to go there to end his life as for Mono grown up version Thin man Looks alot like Hanging man but he can't kill himself like that if he did loop whould have stopped a long time ago so Thin man and hanging man couldn't be the same person but I do think they are related because of the similarities that are too much to be considered Coincidence like the fact the both chairs are in the same position and thin man and hanging man's similarities we can say they are related and do knows each other too,because Eyes uses memories and what happened or what will happen to trick people and manipulate them to do some things and the fact that the Chair thin man sits on the Hanging man is hanged on the very similar and in the same position and the similarities they have I can say Hanging man is Mono's father and we know the fact that Hanging man did have a family that means that Mono and pretender could be siblings let's not forget that they both have insane powers and abilities.I think what happened is that after Hanging man killed himself and other things that happening to the world I think Mono ran to meet other people to fill up his heart after what happened to his Father and Mother being missing but pretender wanted to stay so Mono went on his own leaving pretender alone and getting lost in the Pale city wihle Pretender stayed on her own in the Nest wanting to become like the Lady until Raincoat girl came and they both fell of the cliff and possibly died there.As for the Shadow Six I think thar's Raincoat girl's spirit.Before Six had the raincoat and betrayed Mono there was no sign of Shadow Six she only appeard at the Secret ending of LN2 and when Six ate something.In some theories it is believed that Raincoat girl is Lady's daughter that because of the fact that she had a portrait of girl in a yellow dress with her and in the comics when Six was surrounded with fat people and ferryman is pointing at her it is believed that They were pointing at her becausw we think they thought she was Raincoat girl so Ferry man took her to the Maw thinking she was Raincoat girl but this whole time that was Six.At the ending where Six betraying Mono was quite upsetting and a sad ending but that was quite predictable because of how Six acted the whole game but betraying people wasn't a thing Six would do because in the Very little nightmares
Raincoat girl left her to die but Six still tried to help her and technically Mono did the same to her by not helpinh her when thin man was there.That could be a sign Six was getting more hatefull over time but she still grabbed his hand to pull him up but instead she let go.I don't think that was Six who dropped him.As I said I think Pretender and Mono were siblings.And the reason why Raincost girl dies was because of Pretender.I think the one Who dropped Mono was Raincoat girl aka Shadow Six Who wants to get revenge and if Raincoat girl was Lady's daughter I can say pretender and Raincoat girl was friends so we can assume Raincoat girl knew Mono and after what Pretender did she too over Six and dropped Mono and to get revenge.And at the end of the Secret ending she cursed Six to make her go to the Maw to survive so she.Raincoat girl might have learnt how to do magic and might know how to do it just like her Mother the Lady and used it curse Six leaving her no choice but to go to the Maw to feed her hunger but when they were back it was too late Everyone in the Maw went crazy and become like the other people in the Pale city.As for the times Shadow Six appears when Six eats something either way she wants the life forces to keep going or she's looking up to what she has done and in the end when Six kill the Lady and guests Shadow Six didn't appear because she just couldn't look at to what she has done to her Mother and other people of the Maw.She has turned somebody in a monster and hurt her bestfriends Brother and now she is stuck with a Child that is gonna become one of the worst things ever existed.I also think the reason why Thin man and Hanging man looks so much like each othet is not because they are only relatives but a trick of EYEs making Mono think he's never gonna be happy and blaming Six over it and Mono didn't stayed there for thousnds of years,he wqs strecthed out this is why chair also grew with him.
I think that the hanging man is the father of the pretender and the husband of the teacher
The hanging man was sick of the horrors of home and had a crush on the lady
So he left the nest (and that is why the pretender was crying) and went to the maw and give a proposal to the lady but quickly saw the horrors where even worse than in the nest and than committed suicide (the smal chair is probably small so Six could drag it)

Also in DLC one of the endings we see that thin man is still alive but the way he is in the TV was different than how he got introduced rather than looking like he is insade the TV he looks like he is in a show and being recorded actually
What I thought was the hanging man is mono (Tall man) maybe that's another version of him where he ended himself. Idk maybe he broke the loop by killing himself, he didn't want to wait in that room forever idk đ

I think the Hanging man ist the Man in the Podcast who is talking to the Child because he wants to find his own child. His child could be Six and maybe he later found out that she was taken to the Maw. He made his way to the maw and didnt find six, his child. Maybe he give up because he didnt find Six his child and made suicide. My theory could also be wrong but who knows.
Remember how mirror twist the girl shape, before the ferry man took her? Then she had a cloack cover her body... and in the maw, there is Mirror Man paintings, and the Lady reflection is twisted in the only mirror thats survive her Rage: "The Mirror Man Curse on the Maw": Maybe thats her origin story? She was able to regain normal form, but in the mirror...
this thing about him being killed and hanged reminds me of the case of the Brazilian journalist vladimir herzog, he was killed by the military and then hanged to look like s*icide

One of my family members has a theory on the maw. their theory is that the lady is a succubus and leads the guests on board to trap them there forever, and the reason they'll eat anything that's near them is because they think they're going to survive by eating, but in reality their fattening themselves up for the lady to kill them, take the meat off of their bones and feed it to the next colony of guests and so on.

Many YTbers tell that the handing man is the Thin Man and he killed himself. I don't believe that he killed himself but I believe that he is the Thin Man because
1:They have similar body and clothes
2:The only place you can find this chair in the second game is in the end in the pale City
I believe that as you already told the Lady send the Janitor to kill the hanging man because she afraid that he will be stronger than her and control the maw!
Or... Its something deeper??? I have w theory that the Lady send the mail next to the chair to the Hanging Man (or Thin Man or Mono) to make him so sad to kill himself because

My theory is that the hanging man is actually Mono from little nightmares 2 the boy you are in the game because he kills himself after the betrayal of Six not saving him because sheâs vengeful and he loved her and he could have gotten revenge heâs stronger and heâs the thin mall and is in control but heâs in love with her so heâd rather die then be alive with the pain in his heart and rather hurt himself instead of hurting Six and everyone knows he loves her a lot I finished the game he does he did everything for her but heâd rather hurt himself or die then hurt her when he could have but decided not to heâs in love with her to much to get back at her đą

I think he is the father of Pretender. Like he went to the maw to work as bellman, signal tower deformed him, something happened and Lady wanted to kill him, so maybe janitor did this and hand him like in the picture at the end of video and his daughter somehow knew this and even put picture of his legs in her house. That can be one of the reasons why she's so lonely. But father of Pretender seems to be rich so why someone rich need to go work as bellman? Maybe he fall in love with Lady? Is this the reason why she wanted to kill him? Also bellman wears red pants and pants of hanging man is black but idk

The video was very interesting, I really like the theory you developed! I would very much like to mention my own theory if it's possible! đ So I will give my warnings, Long Comment + Bad English Warning â ïž
Initially, I personally believe that the Hanging Man was the Lady's husband, and that he had 5 daughters: the Runaway Girl, the Pretender, the Girl in the red dress, and two others that I do not have an idea who they are specifically . I also believe that he was murdered and then placed in this position, as well as the fact that he was killed by Roger, but I don't think that the Lady really wanted him dead. If you think about it, it makes sense. The Lady wants to be a happy mother, a happy mother obviously doesn't want to kill her husband! I have the impression that Roger and the Girl in the red dress killed him. The GRD we could say in simple words that she is the Granny. If we think that they are both tall, they both have long hair, and they both wear red dress (yes, the Granny does wear a red dress), it makes sense! So, we have to say: GRD wanted to kill her father for personal reasons, but she knew she couldn't do it alone, so she worked with Roger. They put him in the position we know after he was killed, to show that he committed suicide. But the Lady understood them, and took her daughter's beauty for revenge for killing her father / Lady's husband (keep in mind that GRD looks really beautiful), and made her the sweet Granny we all know and love ! I would like to say the reason why the Lady thinks she is ugly, but I won't be in the point of the video (I already am not in the point)!

I have to say that we see an another chair in the Pale City, when Mono tries to climb on a mini-window (kinda) and the Thin Man comes from the end of the hall (this is not reference to the melody đ ). And I think we have seen the same chair somewhere else, I'm so sorry that I don't remember when/where we see it!đ Also, we see a letter in the Lady's secret room (when we find the Girl in the red dress, a statue and 2 portraits of the Lady), so it's more possible for theme to be friends and talk to each other by letters than enemies. Also, we see a lot of letters in LN 2, and some of theme in a secret room, so the Hanging Man used to live in the Pale City I guess?đ€· Also, I don't personally believe Six is the Lady cause they have some basic differences in their characters.đ
PS. I'm really confused with the Hanging - Thin Man! I'm not sure if they are the same person, because if they are, it means we have broken timeline, but where are the 2 Ladies, 2 Sixs, 2 Doctors, 2 Teachers e.t.c? (đđ ).

Maybe the hanging man is the thin man.
Maybe when six came to the maw, the thin man/mono, knew she was there, so he went to the maw but met the lady, maybe his powers got taken from the lady that is why she can kind of teleport. Also maybe the thin man seeing all of the children locked up made him sad so he hanged himself, leaving a note on the floor in case six sees him, and when six did, maybe she felt bad and couldnât read the note so that is why she left and didnât do anything. But know that i am thinking about it, i do see some flaws in my theory, like if the thin man could teleport to the maw from his room, why didnât he just teleport where his story took place and finished it right then and there.

I think here's my theory I'm pretty sure that there is a picture in very little nightmares of the pretender and a pair of legs that seem to be the hanging man and also another one that seems to be the teacher so maybe the hanging man is married to the teacher and someone killed him

For people who say itâs mono. It is not. It is a maw resident called wax bellman. Whoâs sister was killed. He grieved and became depressed. In pictures there is a nuce close to him. The mirror monster is also another theory that was the most common

Crazy dark theory: what if the hanging man was future Runaway kid from a different timeline? A previous timeline could have occurred before the existence of the signal tower where RK grew up. However when the signal tower came into existence and the time loop happened, the events of all the Little Nightmares games played out and Six eventually ate RK. This would lead to future RK being unable to exist as his past self would be dead. I know its an extremely loose theory but you never know.
That does not makes sense to me considering how Hanging man looks and there is nothing about timelines and how RK got eaten already this is not a theory to me

I noiticed that the boy in the picutreâs sack covering his face looks similier to what character from LN 2? The hunter. Perhaps the hunter has some connection to the lady? I believe that the lady could have been the hunterâs long-lost lover. We know the hunter must have loved and lost someone as when mono and six run into the marsh to hide from the hunter, we see a heart with an arrow through it. I belive the hunter tried to kill himself by shooting himself in the eye. Alas like some characters, he didnt die, however still had the hole in his sack to remind of what he tried to do. What is more to prove this theory is the hard breathing,gasps for breath and mumblings coming from him when we are running away. If you shot yourself and are still alive, there is a chance you might make those sounds.

Hi, I have already posted this theory in your last little nightmares theory video but I was not happy about how I explained it so I decidedto repost it. Anything I added have been written in a *bold font*:
1. Six's room at the start of the game where she was trapped in by the hunter was the same room in the signal tower *Where Mono found Six as Monster six. Six is at the left with her music box and Mono on the right coming in*. I suppose the girl she drew with her eyes scratched off in the hunter's room was the same girl *in the portrait (with her eyes also scratched out)* in her Monster Six room. *Both of the scratched out girl was on the wall opsite to the camera*.
2. That girl Six drew was the raincoat girl! Not only that but the raincoat girl was the Lady's daughter. If you did not know, there were a lot of paintings of a girl (sometimes with the Lady herself) with long hair and with a yellow raincoat. Proof that she must be the Rain Coat Rain! RC girl must have tried fleeing the maw on a hot air balloon but crashed it on the nest. Her mother (the Lady) must have thought she died and so she had her daughter's eye scratched out in all her paintings.
3. Veronica in the Veronica song is the Lady. This song is to advertise to the guest to come to the maw and eat. I mean just listen to the lyrics! 'The halo assenting above our sea' is the maw and Veronica must be the host of it. Which is the Lady!

The Veronica Song is actually an illusion, that means there are no lyrics, so there's no Veronica (R.I.P. Veronica đ). Also, the RC Girl can't be the girl on the portraits, because she has long light-brown hair in a ponytail, and the other girl has black shorter hair. Additionally, we see the same raincoat in/on (I don't know what to write here) a lot of children in the Maw (on paintings/pictures).
The last thing I said (about the RC Girl) is just my theory, I'm not attacking you.đ
To be honest I think lady's fear of being ugly got to her and The Maw is safe place too considering the Lady's character description

What if Six killed the Hanging Manđ€ I mean we all saw that in LN2 that boy (idk his name) grew up as the Hanging Man. Also, we all saw at the end of LN2 that Six drops the boy. What people also say is that Six is ââthe Lady and that boy is the Hanging Man and they are together. In LN1 we saw in the begin Six wake up from a nightmare, that's what people think, but it can also be a vision. And exactly the same with the boy when you watched him grow up to the Hanging Man, that could also be a vision. It's so crazy to think about it đ Also when Six is ââhungry you see a dark person who looks like Six, you also see in LN2 that there are kind of visions of children something like that. I also think that the Lady controls everyone from her room, you see all the dolls in her room and she makes controllable dolls from that. In LN2 you can also see a room with all kinds of masks hanging, which are then put on the dolls. Veronica could be the dark girl you see when Six is ââhungry, also in some paintings you see a girl who could also be Veronica, it's kinda hard to figure out. I hope that one day we will find out how everything is. Also in LN2 Six is a big monster and in LN1 she eats alive mushrooms, but we al know that the mushrooms are children, you can see that in the DLC. If the Lady gets you in the DLC you will be a mushroom, at one place you can see the shadows of the mushrooms and there shadows are children. They help the Lady to keep going the Maw (or boat idk the name, sorryđ) And Six eats the Lady at the end of LN1, Six is a real monster. Also could there be a chance ghost kid might ne stronger than both Six and Mono combined?Considering he is the fourth kid in the book and four means Death in japanese and I think thin man and Ghost kid might have a grudge considering how viewers hate him even tough they shouldn't be able to remember the time loop so they wouldn't know he was the Hunter.
