This is more of a question than a theory to say but if the thin man didnât interfere with six and monos adventure in the pale city what wouldâve happened because mono becomes the thin man and after that wants to stop the loop so why canât he just not do anything would it make a difference?
Not a theory, but the devs confirmed that the LN1 comics aren't canon, so I don't think that's a good source for theories. The north wind isn't canon, so theorizing on him for now is useless :)
well um... Doctor no or whatever his name is could acttualy be like Doctor no1 or no2, since we do see the doctor in chapter 3, Doctor no and the doctor couldve been friends until doctor no betrayded him, by stealing all the kids dreams, making him a monster... making everyone an monster. But if thats so... i agree... we dont know if that little girl in little nightmares 2 is Six is could acttualy be another... Remember, Six got the raincoat from the raincoat girl, so maybe Six was in the pale city, maybe she left her raincoat behind... or something worst happened to her. But i do belive Runaway Kid didint die if it all was just a nightmare, Mono didint turn into thin man if it was just a nightmare, or did he...? the raincoat girl didint die if it was just a nightmare, but Six got the only good ending.

This is not a theory, this is just a facts.
The first title dev gave in little nightmare is not actually little mightmare.
The first title is "Hunger" then in final release they change it in little nightmare.
Being someone who is interested in spirituality, when seeing the eye it makes me think of the third eyeđ. It is symbolic of ones consciousness and the power to manifest into reality. In one of the Little nightmares concept art images we see pictures of some fleshy string being attached to the childrens heads. My theory is that the power ruling the little nightmares universe is using children's minds and third eye power to manifest a world of terror in order for it to feast on their negative energy. After all whoever controls the mind of the masses is all seeing and in control, especially if they can convince you to manifest a reality that benefits them. Thats my take on what the eye means.

The truth is that I also saw this CZcamsr's video for D. No a while ago, and I'm really glad you agreed with him as I did! đ The truth is that at first I thought everyone was too exaggerated that they were so busy with this mysterious doctor, and he was just a random creepy man who accidentally stepped into a picture frame in the Maw. But after this theory, I realized how important it is likely to be!

Maybe, if doctor no was the person behind this endless nightmare after mono's power, reminder that this game is a dream/nightmares of a certain children, so automatically the children are in the position "sleep, having a certain problem with sleep or have a coma-like illness that keeps them from getting up
So imagine that "if" mono was a child, that having coma illness that can't makes him wake up, and doctor no is the one who take care of him while he's having a bad dream, and in mono's nightmare, doctor no is drawn as the doctor in the LN2 hospital

I consider The Thin Man to be above The Eye Monster and above everyone else in terms of raw power in Little Nightmares universe, it would seem that The Eye Monster was introducing Mono as its new Ruler judging by the chair on top of a hill like its making him its king, it looks like a throne, to be more specific, the chair was more distinctive than everything else the throne on top of The Eye Monster is kinda showing that whoever sits on it controls The Eye, I mean it literally looks like a throne, but then The Eye closes in on Mono and he's inside a room, I don't think it's because of malicious or bad tendencies but more of a way to protect its ruler. I also believe The Cycle was actually created by Mono since he has the ability to warp time and reality so I theorized he used his abilities to go back in time to save his younger self, which is actually true because if you watch a video on CZcams of The Thin Man's echos you can actually hear him try to communicate with Mono by saying "Mono!" more than once, "Hey!" more than once, and "Please!" more than once.
New theory: Have you ever noticed that we don't see The Thin Man's eyes? What if The Thin Man sees through the eyes throughout the Little Nightmares universe? After all, he's dealt with The Eye Monster. To elaborate on this, I mean he has the ability to see through wherever an eye is, for example, if an eye was on the ceiling in the apartment, he would be able to see through it as an ability.

It's also An old film from 1962 so I guess it can be only easter egg without any lore behind it.
Since in their previous game they created Character called Doctor No.

six's theory: six has been to school before, every doll kid in the school draws the signal tower or the eye, we went to a small room with a chair, a someone drew on the wall with counting chalks, and of course, only six draws counting chalks on the walls, just like when we first saw or met her..she was marking how many days she was in that room with chalks when we first met her.
why did six betray us?: when she was a monster she had a power that could never leave her that makes her into a monster, dark six. the evil shadow that made six eat, six never eats or gets hungry so if she gets hungry that means its dark six, we also see her in the secret ending, six was never a monster, dark six is turning her into one.
little nightmares: all little nightmares games were never a nightmare, a kid isnt dreaming this is all real, they call this a "little nightmare" because of the monsters, horror, abandoned places, killing, the pale city, the signal tower, six and mono were arent the only ones trying to escape, ALL of the kids out there are also trying to escape.

My theory is that six and Mono are going through a Time loop with terrible monsters that followed them around but I do not think that they're in the child's dream if the were in a child's dream a nightmare is a twisted place but a child wouldn't think about big tower that's forming into a giant eye mass but there is still a possibility your theory is true but mine is way different you're always free to think what you want to think but I don't think a small child would literally think about a twisted world like that unless they were psychotic and that might lead up to the explaining of six cuz she is also psychotic and just heartless but the only way a child will think about that if they saw something happen in real life that look like that but you never know maybe it wasn't Dr no but what if their parents were cannibals and that would make sense what would build up six's character and how she betrayed the ghome but if you think about Mono that is like a part of a nice dream but then it fades into a nightmare just at the beginning it was going a bit good for Mono but after he saved six from the Hunter's cabin things start to turn into actual nightmare maybe six resembles bad luck but after Six dropped Mono into the eye mass he sat in the chair and start sitting there for years you can see the color pink and then it starts to fade into purple and I believe that's Mono happiness pink means that he still has hope that he will make it out of the signal power and six will come back for him purple means that he lost all of his hope to be free until the time loop starts over again so his younger self can open the door and set him free. Well that's my theory

I do think that EYES are not the main antagonisr but flesh and organic materials corrupting over time to be like unorganic and if we think that there is a wholw world out there I can say Pale City,The Maw and The Nest are just small places that might not be important at all
I've never played any of the Little nightmares games but I do know all of the characters even six and mono
Though I agree that Dr.No might be a different character, I think it is safe to say that they are The Doctor. We don't know if being effected by the signal tower continues to worsen over time, or if the effects remain about the same. It's assumed that there were normal(ish) looking people at some point given the technology and the footage seen in the television of The Maw during Chapter 2. Dr.No may have been the Doctor early in his mutations. The characters hands appear very similar(both have stubby, sausage fingers with a similar pigment in the skin.) and both are wearing similar outfits.
It is unknown if the Doctor is wearing a mask or not, but it is possible given he appears to make or at least have access to the same masks used in The Maw. His face proportions don't match up very well(similar to the Chef's which are confirmed to wear masks.) So it may be possible that is his face underneath his mask if he wears one.
I also don't believe the eye room is any form of authority and seems to be directly bonded with Thin Man(Mono.) or whatever happens to host it at the time. A theory I found seems to point to the conclusion that the eye monster is actually an amalgamation of the viewers which have been sucked into the television(as seen from the clothes laying around and concept art.)
I believe that the eye monster just follows Mono because they have the same influence as the television, and the monster(or viewers) care about nothing else other than the television's influence.
Obviously all people can do is make theories though. Anyways great video, you earned yourself a sub! :D

My theory is that the doctor drugged the children into beiliving the world is a nightmare so six is basically trying to escape her nightmares and mono is trying to help her cause I think there dreams and connected
I think that the world of little nightmares is not a nightmare itself. However I do think that it is heavily influenced by the nightmare of a child. Specifically the nightmare of whoever is trapped inside the signal tower. This turns the adults who already neglected their children for the television into the viewers.

Maybe he was a scientist, and It all started as a lab Project gone wrong. The doctor/Scientist probably was the one who created the Eye creature then he made a mistake causing the eye creature to take over.

I think that the eye is a resemblance of how the world once was and how it was all peaceful then this beast Thin Man took souls away from kids like the Lollipop boy, The Crests girl,Six,Mono,Ghost boy, and last the wilderness boy and they all looked so emotionless in the comics so I think all of their souls got grabbed by the one and only Thin Man Plus the eye is all of the souls that got grabbed away and smashed into a big beast that would soon want six to betray mono bc mono would Kill six if he went with her and he grew up and she stayed the same
