    I have never heard of this before! Thank you for this detailed tutorial. When I made my daughter's baby food, I always used a blender, but this looks like an amazing way to do it as well.

      oh well I used commercial engine to grind the grains, because it has spoilt my blender a couple of times .

      personally for me my darl, I love the taste ginger adds to pap and natural home juice , plus ginger helps in boosting immune system and am sure I explained that in the video. thanks for watching darl ❤️

    This is how i learnt from my mum as well but my brother's nothern domestic staff introduced another method, way faster...but i couldn't catch it, let me be doing this method i learnt yrs ago😊

      hahahahahahaha I swear , I couldn’t catch that pattern as well. Yoruba’s use it pretty well, and very fast like you said . the day I tried it I wasted time than I would have if I had just used the pattern I know from childhood

      i mixed the 3 grains for one paint . One paint alone of each grain is expensive, that aside if you buy the 3 grains equal, the pap won’t be thick , it’s the yellow corn that makes pap thick when you cook it after processing. So it’s wise you buy the yellow corn more than the other 2 grains. Anyway the market guys knows how to mix the grains once you request for mixing . I hope this answer helps?

      Ginger generally helps build our immune system, I also add it in smoothies, stew etc..

      the ginger was properly washed my dear, grinded and sieved with every other grain in the video. Did you watch the full video dear ?

      thank you dear for watching, I started feeding my kids this pap , soya beans and all the ingredients used from 7months old ,that was when I weaned my kids . I really don’t know about adding ginger to pap for 3months old baby, since I didn’t give to my kids at that age.

    Can you experiment with a small batch of ogi and turn it into powder to see if it will make a good ogi when u cook the powder

    How long will it take to finally settle? Cos it seems like the one I did the water is too much 😩😩

      After sieving, leave it over night dear and the main pap will settle at the bottom by morning , then you can pour away the top plain water .

    Also if you live abroad,you can use cotton pillowcase because you can't find that bag.

      I waited overnight for the water to separate from the real pap, and I mentioned this in the video dear. Everything single step was explained in the video.

      how do you solidify the pap then without using the bag? Aside from solidifying the pap, the bag also helps in preventing so much loss when trying to separate the main pap from water.

      hi dear I did exclusive breastfeeding for my kids till 6months old. I introduced them to this food at 7months, so I can’t say if 2months old baby can take it , since I didn’t introduce my kids to solid that early .

      the bag helps solidify the watery pap. After you’ve gotten the solid form, you can put back in water since you don’t have fridge to store it. But please ensure you change the water every water .

      personally ginger for me elevates the taste and aroma of the pap and of course the health benefits of ginger . Ginger boost immunity, so I literally put it in almost everything (food ,homemade juice etc).

      I picked the grains, and I washed the grains. Am sure I showed clips of when I washed the grains and I mentioned in the video , on each day the grains were washed for the 3days I soaked it. So am wondering why the question ???
