Figure, idk... maybe then.... just mayyyybe, the HUGE fine would have MADE it sink in what is or isn't allowed; regardless of language barrier, if she has a d.l. & passed test, she 'knows' better based on pic alone. Yank 'er. Tho she pd the drop fee, guaranteeeeeeed she will be a big repeat offender! As someone who IS disabled & who is sure to have my placard w/ me even if someone is giving me a ride (rather than driving myself) always following rules. Someone who, if there is only 1 handicapped spot left & another kinda sorta close, will even 99.9% time leave it for someone potentially in a wheelchair or something since technically... i can walk unassisted.... To see someone take advantage & just swoop into that spot, able bodied & w/ NO plates or card, phew..... Wish I could be a spotter on some app, take pic/submit to police or towing or something.... See this type of thing FAR TOO OFTEN & feel like there's nothing I can do, These days, am afraid to even confront, so.... usually don't say a word since not my place really. =/ Unfortunate so many take advantage, use, lie & get rewarded or enabled rather than stiff consequences to prevent them from doing whatever it is, again. Glad to see, in this case, she got caught, even if just $100/drop. Wish she came out 5 min later tho, to her car GONE so she'd have to go through trouble, at least..... the inconvenience of finding & going to get it, paying even more. ;) Esp these days & during these odd scary times... totally get why you'd be looking over your shoulder all the time AND recording everything, when possible!!! ~ Stay safe & be well.
She's lucky she got a warning. We don't warn for handicap. We tow first time every time. California law states that placard must be displayed. If we don't see a placard or plates it gets hooked... God bless

They always do that... I hated customer service because of that reason... You can tell they speak English, but then when u explain things that aren't in their favor, then they start acting like they don't understand you... f customer service jobs.
In high emotional situations we usually revert to the most comfortable form of communication. Someone may understand "English" but they may struggle when faced with situations they were not planning to deal with that day. So I can see where they may revert to there native language. Something I had to deal with on a daily basis in my 29+ years as a Electronics Retailer Salesperson. Maybe it was my "American bias" but I just thought that anyone living in the US would learn the language-American English. But I have since learned that there is no "National Language" in the United States. It was a hindrance for me because when mobile phones became a "key" sales product I was left out of a lot of sales opportunities because I did not or could not speak Spanish. Most retail sales positions now require that the sales personnel be bi-lingual speakers.

I am disabled Marine Corps Veteran and have a HC P.P. but embarrassed to use it, and would rather someone who is more disabled than me to use the spot. It is frustrating to see people who are not disabled using a HC PP. LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING....

Police need to be called on her, period. Don't bother just towing it and taking a drop fee. You know she's going to be doing it again. She doesn't think handicapped parking rules apply to her. I will bet almost anything she's done it elsewhere and she'll keep doing it until she has the police to deal with.

I enjoy watching cars being towed especially the inconsiderate drivers who park in the handicapped parking spaces. It happens in Australia too but I must admit it is a rare event and the only complaint I have is the limited number of acrod parking bays that are available. Keep up the great work. (Those are my favorites) I loved that you dumped that other car off to go get the handicap one; I was over here cheering you on. When you backed up to it, I was saying, "hurry! Get the chains on it! Only reason the apartment manager would have the car dropped when tow gets to it is if the car owner let them know that they'll be parked there for whatever reason and the manager is okay with it.

Police need to be called on her, period. Don't bother just towing it and taking a drop fee. You know she's going to be doing it again. She doesn't think handicapped parking rules apply to her. I will bet almost anything she's done it elsewhere and she'll keep doing it until she has the police to deal with.

I enjoy watching cars being towed especially the inconsiderate drivers who park in the handicapped parking spaces. It happens in Australia too but I must admit it is a rare event and the only complaint I have is the limited number of acrod parking bays that are available. Keep up the great work. You have a legitimate and important service to perform.

(Those are my favorites) I loved that you dumped that other car off to go get the handicap one; I was over here cheering you on. When you backed up to it, I was saying, "hurry! Get the chains on it! Get it hooked before someone comes out!" Then she came out and you kept your head down and made sure to finish hooking it and I was cheering you again!
She had one of those really entitled-looking faces, like if she just didn't address the problem you'd disappear and leave her be. Not so much though, huh? :-))

Georgia state law requires that if the owner is there before leaving they have the right to pay a drop fee to leave the vehicle.
Why didn’t she have to pay the drop fee? Does she get a special privilege? Seems unfair.
@@justinbrasseur4450 To pay you either pay cash, or pay by card through the phone by calling the tow's office number which she did.
Only reason the apartment manager would have the car dropped when tow gets to it is if the car owner let them know that they'll be parked there for whatever reason and the manager is okay with it.
