I purchased a 330i about 6 months ago and yes love it!! For me only con is no spare tire and little hard getting in and out of, especially out, but still love it, just hope it's reliable enough 🤔
Absolutely my favorite car. This is my second Bmw and my favorite.
I like this new format and the great choice of visualisation.
Thank you my friend!
I really like this new pros and cons format.
Thank you!
I got a 2019 330 M-Sport Package.only 20k miles on it so it’s practically still a baby. I drive 8 is a step back from idrive 7 imo to much stuff on touchscreen like you said the air controls like why and to convoluted. Also the front bumper is step back as well. on my M-Sport it has fog lights and they took those away on the LCI which doesn’t look as aggressive IMO.
I have a 2018 F30 330i with xDrive and the M-Sport pkg. I'm not sold on the giant screen, but everything else about the G20 generation is looking awesome. I hope the B48 engine can continue being pushed with refinement and upgrades over time.
And i totally agree with your point on stability at high speeds. I've pushed my car to 180 - 190kmh and damn does it ever stay planted. Almost makes you forget you're going 80 over the limit haha
Nice! Great car. Yea the G20 is certainly nice that climate control embedded into the screen is annoying for sure.
Definitely a stable ride 😅 let us know if you plan to make the switch to the G20, we would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for stopping by!
The video editing is excellent
Thank you very much!
my Pro = I like it, my Con = to much 💰💰💰, thanks Kevin 😀
Good to see you review a German model. The LCI does look pretty decent. I'm not a fan of the no gear shifter in addition to the touch climate change control. It's just an oddity. Similar to the new TLX layout.
I have an F30 328i xdrive in the original Sport Line. It's been reliable and runs solidly. I like the looks of this generation and will keep it - has the classic Bimmer image and well proportioned. The 4 cylinder has sufficient power and reasonable fuel economy. It's the one to get and recommended by many auto review agencies. It's my weekend car so I don't daily drive it. It would be a great daily though.
Thanks for sharing your detailed thoughts my friend, I definitely agree with you!
I have the same car… and overall I love driving it. I came from having A4s and this drives way better. Love the suspense, the steering and how the car feels on the road. However, I’m 6’3” and I just feel like the car is too small for me. I have a hard time trying to get out of the car.. I look so awkward trying to get out.. when you sit in the car it has a “fitted” feel to it whereas the A4 was slightly more roomier.
Exactly, they nailed the sporty feel in this vehicle it immediately sets it apart from the competition. Getting in and out is a con sadly
Why the depreciation is so high on this model? Maintenance cost?
I have the LCI m340i. I regret not having adaptive m suspension since the ride is a little harsh for me. I’m not sure if it is mostly due to the run flat tires though.
Were you ever able to test a model with the adaptive suspension? If you were please share with us if it made a difference thank you
Yo bro Happy Friday 🙏🏾🙏🏾😎👍🏾👍🏾
Hey bro happy Friday to you as well thank you!
@@MeynMotorGroup Thanx bro 🤝
I’m trying to find one of the older models with idrive 7 I like physical climate controls
Understandable the climate control really blows with this new one
Bruh that’s crazy I was just looking at these then u make a video.
Nice 👍
It’s a handsome sedan, I definitely like it a lot but the wheels are huge and like you said will be tough / rough ride - my friend just got a new Audi S3 window sticker was like $56 and it doesn’t have remote start lol
Yea this car is easily the stiffest in its class and a viewer told me the standard suspension is still stiff but more tolerable. Yea I think because of the chip shortage nonsense manufacturers are skimping on some options and giving a $50 refund 😂
All Audi cars sold in America and Europe have no remote start since pre pandemic. So I don't think it's because of the chip shortage issue
@@manofsesame3024 even via Audi connected? It literally says it says remote start on the Audi website tech specs and then the car doesn’t have it and I don’t think it’s in the connect app either?
@chocolatewheelchair you can sacrifice one of the key fob to get the after-market remote starter. That's what I did on my 2022 A4 TSFI 45 S-line Teknik (that how it's called in Canada. I think it's called prestige in the US). The car is top optioned, but the remote starter is not standard in the package
How well would this work with one child seat and stroller/other stuff for a child?
I think the child seat will be fine but the stroller will be a tight squeeze even if you fold it, a lot of trunk space will be taken up. Have you thought about the X3?
Is there a spot for the spare tire or just put it in the trunk?
Yea in the trunk you open the flap and that’s where you will find the battery of the car and also the spot where you can fit the spare if you decide to order it from the factory with a spare or if you get one seperatley
Good points!
Thank you my friend, I like the color of your 330i 👍
@@MeynMotorGroup thank you!
is this car equipped with the m spoiler? or is this the look you get with the m package
I believe the little lip spoiler came with the m sport package
@@MeynMotorGroup thanks man. love the look fo the car, all black except the grill in chrome. the back window tint is missing tho
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
👍
Is it me or is fuel economy lost in the potential unreliability of owning a 3 series
Lease only for business owners my friend
@@MeynMotorGroup I disagree. Maybe I've been lucky with my previous BMWs, but I've never had reliability issues. Granted, I never kept either beyond 100K. Beyond that, maybe, but I wouldn't know. People act like cars other than Toyota/Lexus fall apart after 50K. It's absurd TBH.
This is also true yes people think anything that’s not a Toyota will instantly grenade I agree that’s a pretty nasty misconception many got from watching years of Scotty Kilmer.
I made a dedicated video talking about Reliability and how my Master tech had two benzes with over 300k miles on it.
Maintenance costs more than a standard eco cars but if kept up with just about any car will last.
I’ve learned recently that reliability to most people means which car can they neglect the most and still run. That tends to be Toyota economy cars.
The only brand of vehicle that I’ve seen that really does break for no reason are the JLR products. I still like them tho 😅😂
Lexus is a pretty excellent bet for anyone that wants luxury with least hassle long term, which is what my friend here Michael Vuong drives.
@@MeynMotorGroup I think Scotty is just part of it. I don't watch his videos, but a lot of so-called experts expouse the same reliability nonsense. Anytime I hear someone spout that nonsense, I tune them out unless they can reference some tangible experience.
I think you're right about what reliability means to people. I don't have any first hand experience with JLR products. I've heard the stories, but I haven't done the research to see how bad, or good, their products are.
The main thing that’s causing new cars to be so disposable is this over reliance on the tech. Most automotive mechanics basically have to go to school for IT at this point.
My mastertech had to study and memorize over 2 miles of wiring in an S class or something crazy like that.
I had a new F pace and a brand spanking new Defender for a week to test. The F pace electric seats didn’t work right, also did not go into reverse once. Defender literally just shut down at a red light and something else happened I forgot.
I saw on the leasehackr forum a guy had his newly leased Defender just chilling in the dealership for 3 months waiting on various repairs. I’ve got multiple stories like that over the years about JLR.
But a new BMW or Audi 4 or 6 cylinder I think would be fine up to 100k miles with proper maintenance. Heck Toyota uses BMWs engines in the Supra since they deemed them reliable.
I think your exaggerated about the power it’s not that fast
It’s fast for what it is and for the class that it is in. I didn’t say it was fast compared to a Tesla Plaid. Everything I say is in respect to a vehicles class and what it competes with. It’s my apologies for not clarifying this during the review, I take full responsibility for this mistake.
Hits 60 in under 6.0 is plenty fast
