This was amazing. He was in control. After putting away the sword he reassured the horse with a few pats & rubs and the horse calmed down. Very impressive.
I'm always amazed at how poorly trained these horses are. You would never see a RCMP horse behaving like that. Get some professional desensitization training already.
That was amazing horsemanship! Great job Trooper.
How calm the young guard is and he just keeps reassuring his horse the riders are truly trained to a very high standard👏👏
Great job by trooper ,stayed calm ,reassured the horse well done.❤
So glad the other horses didn't act up as well. Excellent training for horses and Troopers. 🙂 💖 💯
Well done trooper, you sorted out your horse, settled him down. Put away your sword to finally get your mount back in line. Excellent.
WOW!
What grace & discipline under pressure.
The rider's composure was admirable. I'm surprised he waited at long as he did to sheath his sword and then draw it again.

Professional (spurman) Riding instructor hence the spur on his arm 👏
Great moments, great control!
Wow, such a phenomenal rider! : )
Wow nwvwe seen that happen before. That was one unhappy horse, but that guard is an amazing horseman! Cudos.
Awesome to see!
Nicely done young man x
You can’t force a horse to do anything it doesn’t want to do. Just hang on and don’t fall off.
Horse asks 'Why am I always on the end?'
Por un momento creí que no controlaría al caballo y ocurrirĺa un accidente😅😅,por suerte resistió el guardia y lo controló 💙💙
And that’s why you will never see me on a horse 😅
What does the insignia on his right upper arm (a spur?) mean?
I googled it, and it's a Spur Equitation Instructors Qualification badge.
@@margaretshanahan9754 thank you! So that explains his skill 😉
Likely the first time that horse has been there, having a “spur man” ride it is a little bit of assurance
