  • Today we have encountered a change of horses, the reason we do not know. We also have the guard's patrol. The horse that does not want to enter its gate. Many people with their cameras ready to capture the best moment. You will also see the end of the guard.

I see that the horse that had the temper tantrum just 15 minutes before the 4.00 o'clock final inspection of the day, could not be persuaded to enter the box again😅😅 I noticed that some horses respond well when taken to the stables for 5-10 minutes after their meltdowns (maybe they give them treats or carrots, etc.); others respond well on the second or third attempt to go through the gates and then back into the box. For others, nothing works, just like in this case. What's really to be appreciated is that this trooper (seen him before many times, he's very knowing of horses, probably been with the Life Guards for some time) insisted to be present at the 4.00 o'clock final inspection, all the more since the tantrum occurred so close to it. I could always swear the two troopers that show up in this video are brothers, they look so much alike🙂. The horse trailers that took those horses are probably from Hyde Park Barracks, maybe the horses are in need of some assistance (medical or other) that could not be provided on the spot, in the stables. I hope they are ok. The inspection was perfect, as always. Have a great day!💯💯

They are very anxious near the final hour of their duty

@@anamariafernandeztroxler4007 Indeed! Not just near the final hour of the day, but near the end of all the 60-minute shifts during the day, especially when they hear/see that the doors behind, open 10/8/5 minutes before the shift is over😀 Most of them become exceedingly impatient.I've seen horses that were 100% calm and nice for 50 minutes and then, had complete meltdowns after the doors behind opened, it was really shocking to watch how restless they became in 5 minutes.

Feel sorry for the guard , the usual culprits are here again . What do they get out of just staring at the guard . Police should give them five minutes and move them on they are so disrespectful .

Feel sorry for the horse. It doesn’t want to get into the box and stay still in there.

They do that when they're resting, it's not unusual, you can tell when they do that they are quite at ease and docile....whereas the other one was having a bad day...something was making him want to take flight and not be in the box...no fault of the horse...just a horse being a horse...we all have off days!! The guard done well sitting to his little rear ups with one hand control. x
