    Great amplifier! Since my youth, the sound of Vox amplifiers has captivated me with its sound. And at the moment, I am the owner of the amplifier of this manufacturer, though it’s not completely a tube amplifier, but a simulator, with a lamp in the preamplifier - Vox VT100X, before that was VT40X, but I wanted a more serious speaker, and bought VT100X, and now I use the fortieth for a drum machine, then I will present my daughter’s birthday 😃. The lamp in the preamplifier is really felt, but still somewhere inside, the voice says - why didn’t you take the full tube 🤣 ?! But, in principle, I am pleased with him and he quite suits me. Thanks, Jonathan, for the great review !!! Everything, as always at the highest level !!! 👍👍👍🙏🤝👋

    Always love your videos Jon! And missed this video when it premiered but looking at reveiws for this Vox AC10c1 Amp recently and your video popped up! You definitely coached out some nice tones from this Vox. I am considering on picking one up from my project studio just to have a variety of amp sounds for live recordings versus amp sims. I figure having a Fender, Marshall and Vox flavor in-house is always a good thing to do. Thanks for the video. Keep on rocking my man! Be safe and blessed!

    Morning Jon going over some of your past videos, such a classy amp looks wonderful, it really has all you need, I own a VOX VTX 20 with a Preamp Tube great amp but I normally have it on the AC30 model, I am not insane to put an AC30 in my apartment I would be needing a place to live after, but the 10 is interesting, the hard part is finding a starter tube amp , maybe 10 watt tube wise would be just too much, the other amp which I have mentioned to you is the Blackstar HT 5 I like the recording capabilities, I wish I could have them all but I my girlfriend says Jon is professional musician you're not going to say the rest, have to keep clean here, lolol brilliant video's as always Jon God Bless ,

    I have two of these and split the signal with a pedal. I can ping pong back and forth, kind of cool. What is amazing to me is the volume. I can barely crack the volume in my 10 by12 studio. One amps reverb has a habit of not working, but that’s the hotter unit.
    As the volume goes up in either amp it doesn’t really get a whole lot louder, but more responsive

    @DenisAhmet Před 4 lety

    The first thing i noticed when you played it clean, it had the sound of the Beatles; I believe they mostly played through Vox gear. I've been tempted to buy a Tube AMP for home use, but I'm so happy with my Boss Katana 50. The only other thing that would put me off a tube AMP is the volume, on the Katana I can play at half a Watt, and believe me its more than loud enough for home use. I've actually got an ART GOLD tube pre-amp I bought many years ago that has two 12AX7 tubes in it, I've been too lazy to plug it into the Katana - I'm gonna try it now, I've got a good feeling it's gonna sound awesome. Thanks for the Demo Jonathan, it's much appreciated. Stay safe and take care!!

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  Před 4 lety +1

      Thank you Denis!! Tell me how it goes with that ART Gold..Stay Safe!🤓

    • @DenisAhmet
      @DenisAhmet Před 4 lety

      Jonathan Koh I’ve now tried putting the ART MPA GOLD TUBE PRE AMP through my Katana and it has definitely warmed up the tone. I think I’ve got the settings pretty dam close to sounding great, clean. The one thing I have not tried is to push the tubes, I know even at the ultimate clean setting it has boosted the output a lot too. So yeah it works, I now have a sort of tube AMP 😎. I would really need to compare with a dedicated Tube AMP to hear how good it is, but it’s fine for me just playing at home. It would good to know how other people have tried this method. I think you can buy pedal like tube pre’s that do the same, mine is like a rack mount unit.

    Hi Jonathan, thanks for demo and review. Being a fan of Vox AC tones, playing an AC15HW1, I do recognize the Vox tones in this AC10. Yes Vox watts are really LOUD , haha, using mine home at 25% volume and 25% gain on Top Boost channel. The gain control at full on this AC10 is not reaching the famous top boost tones. And of course 10in speaker and smaller cabinet miss some lows. About your guitar, I too have few dings and chips on my strat, but still very far from the Rory Gallagher strat 😁

I am really close to pulling a trigger and get either this on the AC15C1 ... I know that AC15 is heavy but has normal channel as well which is really good for pedals and I am a pedal user for my main tone. But AC10 certainly suits my home studion better ... still the price is not too far away and AC15C1 is just mmmmm :)
