Cooper S Killer? 250bhp & 410ft/lbs MINI COOPER SD!

- Without a doubt, the Mini Cooper SD is one of the best handling cars in our fleet, but it always lacked that extra bit of power on the straights. For a while now, we have had it in our heads that we would fabricate a custom turbo kit to really show its potential!

Our GTB2260 turbo kit is capable of ~300bhp but is limited to 250bhp and 410 ft/lbs due to the stock fuel system. It's probably easy to guess what we're upgrading next.

Thank you for this informative video. I’ve been looking for years to upgrade for a bigger turbo and couldn’t find anyone who did it successfully. This gives me the right idea. Bigger turbo, bigger port injectors, fuel lines, etc lol. I can’t wait until the minis cans finally open up to its true potential without a break. Lol

I know your a diesel company but imagine that in a petrol mini. It feels like you did barely any lag. Alot of people don't understand that it's a characteristic of the car very early torque and hardly any drop off.

Observation, lag that àir inlet pipe it must be getting realy heat soaked running that close to and above the turbo.
great video not seen a tuning video for a while could do with some more been watching the other vids would be a good video if you did some sort of tuning with the V8 scania plenty out there could be a nice little money maker for you 👍

Would this gtb2260 kit fit on a regular BMW 320d with xdrive. Would it also have 300 hp potenital on the 320d ? I think the engine is the N47 from an E91 lci.

This upgrade is also very good for 120d and 320d
The f22 118d has the same injector and pump of the mini/120d so you can put this turbo and bolt ons on without problems?

The kits won't be the same but similar, email us!
I think 118d uses different injectors from the 120d piezo and solenoid etc
Is something coming to the 125d also? Way more potential to reach, like 290hp and more torque than now right?

Hey guys have a b7 3.0TDI BKN with Borgwarner BV50 turbo with simens vdo actuator. How difficult is it to convert to garrett hella actuator or what turbo is the best upgrade for it ?

Acceleration seems very strong, good work. BMW 2260 is a lot better than Audi 2260.

Is it a common issue the Mini F56 running too hot on a stage one remap? On the dyno my revs to close to 4500rpm
Could easily be pushed too hard

@@TheEasyManCZ not to sure but I think the SD has 120d injectors so I think if you done that upgrade first then downpipe that should be no problem really.
There are a few choices, Piezo are usually bigger so more power!
