it’s good for the skin. vaseline (petroleum jelly) is used on burn patients. depending on the degree of the burn.

Many medications that are prescribed by a doctor for skin conditions have a petroleum base. A doctor wouldn’t prescribe them so much if they were not very safe.

In galen lab one of our professor ate a smal scoop just to prove a point you could even eat a small amount of vaseline despite the fact it is. Derived from petrolium. 😅

Well actually most are more of a paraffin base. But I get your point.

@@vkngwmn6636🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 my thoughts exactly. A dr will most definitely advocate for extremely dangerous and unsafe substances

No no no. Petrolatum (Vaseline) is one of the safest ingredients you can apply to skin. It does not contain any harmful compounds after triple purification. It doesn’t even absorb into skin. It’s been used for 100+ years with a VAST safety profile. Lastly, it’s used as a negative control in dermatology studies. It’s one of the safest and inert ingredients one can use.

But pseudoscience is so much more DRAMATIC. If a thing sounds like another thing, they must be the same 🙃

White petroleum jelly is safe, brown petrolium jelly isn't, we don't use brown petrolate.

Shea Butter is occlusive and natural

Real organic Shea butter is better for the skin health, but it can be pricey, and isn't usually sold in stores.. Petroleum ( Vaseline) is cheaper for those who cannot afford the healthiest options, but it still geothermal job done
