As a former owner of a full optioned 84 Riv, did both opera lights work?
My Dad spent his entire career with Alcoa and was a senior executive at the end of his career at corporate in Pittsburgh. He traveled to the Layafette Indiana plant frequently, among other plants in the US - corporate jet back and forth in one day, back home for dinner. Beautiful Riviera, brings back lots of great memories from a great American time. Dad is gone and so is America - sad all around.
What an anthonishing jewel!!!
Be still my heart. ❤️ I love the older Rivieras.
My lord what a sight to behold. What a fine example of an automobile. Respect to Bob for being a true gentleman to the first owner, a virtue almost lost these days.
Your last comment is the best comment I have seen in a while. Thank you!
I was able to see this car in person last week. If you want a brand new old stock car, this is it. I can not believe how perfect this car is. I'm sure there is nothing like this anywhere in this world. If you are a Buick lover or just love perfect classic cars this is it Good find Bob!
Hi Gary! Thanks for commenting!
I agree that more videos like this would be really cool. Getting to meet Bill was a real treat.👍😎👍
What a gorgeous looking car!
Absolutely amazing find
I live in Lafayette, who would have guessed a car like that was left in our town!
This is wonderful...to see the people behind the car...its history. I remember watching the other video of this car months ago, but somehow missed this one, and glad I found it now.
Bill is the real deal!
This is a great story, Bob
Hey Bob, what a fascinating story!!! I love these videos with a beautiful car & an original owner with interesting stories to tell!!!
I want to see the Thunderbird & hear it's story!!! Thanks for sharing this exciting video!! 👍👍🙂
I will do Thunderbird next!
@@euroasianbob9268 thanks Bob!!
I currently own my second Rivera it's a 1983. My first Rivera was a 85 and it's the last year for this body style.
Love it, really interesting insight into how you get these gems!
My Dad had a 81 Buick Riviera, I learned to drive in that car.
so clean... loved those cars beautiful.
Awesome find what a great guy he is, It’s a stunning car 🚙 and the low mileage is incredible 😍
Can’t wait to see it fully polished
That video came out first. Check it out!
Absolutely amazing beautiful
best deal ever ever.
Love that Riv. Gotta pump it a few times.. I'm 63 so I'm in the same old school club of car knowledge. Great vid Brother . You need a dually and a 2 car trailer .
Awesome!!!!
Amazing car and a awsome owner👌😎❤
Mint condition🤩
I would have loved to have this car!!!! I know I couldn't afford it though!!! I have my first car still after 22 years, a 1977 nova concours!!!! Put a new motor and rebuilt the trans!! Still driving it!!!! Love the old cars!!!!
I have a 1988 Lincoln town car I wish mine was as mint as that but our dirt road would fix that very fast😅😅😅 but my car is mostly orginal paint is now the perfect patina from sitting in the sun but the car is great just installed brand new ac car runs amazing got it at 80k miles now has 92k miles from driving 3 years.
Friend of mine bought in Canada boattail (i think what they call it) version, the design is out of this world for the age and time. Edit: watching the video the old man mentioned that too, that car is something else, i hope you find one soon!
It's sweet that he believes torsion bars are superior to coil springs.
I HAVE THE 82 rivier 27000 convertable in the uk
My first car was a 1983 Oldsmobile Toronado I miss that car
Only you could find it bob
Nice old car. I would buy it if it was a regal. Had one in high school the same color as this one but mine had maroon half vinyl top and maroon guts.
I have tons of detailing experience and some body work which could benefit someone like you unfortunately my pockets don’t match yours I wish I could work this off🙃

And When You Get Ready To Tune Up The Engines On Both Of Ur. New Barn Finds Please Remember To Use The CHAMPION SPARK PLUGS # RV15YC6
Yeah I emailed you on your website asking what the price was and you replied "Please read the description". Oooookay.
The description explains that this car has no price as it’s being sold NO RESERVE on Bring a Trailer. How else should I respond?
@@euroasianbob9268 Must be too much effort for him LOL
It's blue, i have a 1976 chevrolet same metallic blue with 2330 miles.
Blue cars somehow get saved
And On Both of Ur. New Barn Find Cars Please Remember To Check And Replace The Front OIL Seal And The 02 Upstream And Downstream Oxygen Sensor On Both Of Ur. New Rides
That makes 2 now with the 2nd having lower miles than the first. I bet you can't do that again and find a 3rd with even lower miles.
This is the trip documenting the first one. I don’t think there is another Buick in the world as nice as the one I have.
Ah, okay then. she's a beauty
And i Would Like To Recommend To Use The CHAMPION SPARK PLUGS # RV15YC6 - RV15YC6 For Ur. Engine Tune Up Work
Since you are Euro -Asian Bob, You should pronounce it Aluminium not Aloominum
How about Al lue min ium ?
@@euroasianbob9268 Yes that's the way the Dutch who discovered the stuff would pronounce it.
Crush it!
I don’t give any videos a thumbs down and I know your viewers won’t like this - but I’m urging people to not trash me for my comments. Your video is fine but you are being far too patronizing to the older gentleman. I know you might be excited about the car but you’re not even allowing him to finish some of his sentences. There’s nothing wrong with this older gentleman and you can give him a bit more respect if you wish but he doesn’t need special treatment. Let the older gentleman talk. America really hates older people and either patronizes them (which is insulting) or ignores them. I’m a car guy but also a marketing guy by trade and an adjunct business professor but at the end of the day also a “natural” born sociologist. I can’t help but see the issue; the older gentleman doesn’t need to be “handled.” I’m sure he knows 100 times more than we all do.
I totally agree.
