Riviera has 307v8, I actually would be very interested to see this on the channel, them Riviera used what we used to call a unilateral transmission, same as gm used in the olds tornado's, the way you do with your vehicles, this has potential to be a really decent car, it's in great condition for its year no doubt, Liked the vid, Staysafe

In my opinion, the Buick Riviera back in the 80's is better than any of the new junk that is made today. The driving experience, style and luxury, back then is just incomparable.

Hell yea I wanna see that old school riviara on the channel!! Always had a sweet spot for those damn buicks!! Especially the newer 95 riviaras with the 3.8 supercharger motor. But these 80s riviaras are also badass. And the fact it fired up on basically the first try! Most newer vehicles dont even do that!!!

My Uncle Jim had an 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado was grey on grey back in 1990 bought it around same time my Dad got his 86 grey on grey Chevrolet Celebrity. They were both very nice cars back then. My Dad's Celebrity had a carbureted 2.8 V6 and my Uncles had this same V8 engine as this Riviera as this car was a cousin car to what he had. He kept his in top shape. My Dad's Celebrity was also taken care of but unfortunately started rusting too. Miss my childhood years were best times!

I own one of these currently a 83 my second one. My first one was a 85 Buick Rivera last year for that body style. I want to see this car on your channel because these last forever.
Around 1983 we had a dark blue Riviera she was sweet felt like the richest kid on the block !

Growing up, a friend of mine’s mom had an ‘04 Element in that red/orange color. Had some fond memories, cool car.
That light gray 2000 Dodge Durango from a few weeks ago has the 5.2, solid motor, it’d be cool to see if it’ll run.

1984 Riviera would be interesting to bring back to life. Back in the 80’s it was the Cadillac Eldorado, Buick Riviera, then Oldsmobile Tornado.
They were all build on the same platform with front wheel drive. They were GMs top autos.
I had a 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal Brougham, 2 door with a 307ci V8, 4 bbl carb. Like driving while sitting on your living room couch.

Somebody sunk one of those in "lost lagoon", a pond in Vancouver B.C. near where I used to live.
It was stolen in the 80's and was discovered around '93 when a worker saw its roof poking through the water.
This Buick like an old Grand pa or grandma they are old buy they fight to live cars are not Just machines but they are memories save the memories thank you
