- The FishLocker Boys - Bass Fishing with lures and Hauling Homemade Lobster and Crab Pots. The Fishlocker boys are out early morning for some fishing and then to haul our crab and lobster pots. Cracking morning sea fishing and family fun.

I know that you probably edit out the ummm less than spectacular father and son moments, but these videos with James always warm my heart! He's such a sweet and special boy! Another great video. Cherish theses trips out with your son as they grow up so quickly. I used to do the same with my boy when he was about the same age, great memories, he’s now 19 yrs old,no longer interested in fishing with the old man, just interested in fast cars and faster women. 😀

@@TheFishLocker My dad had a 30ft carvel fishing boat, I remember being like your son, with my dad, we were moored at Hayle, running the bar coming back in was always an adrenaline rush because if you timed it wrong there would be waves coming in over the stern. I can also remember (i was 18) catching my first conga eel 25ib'r, I was using a standard reel, my dad had tried talking me into using his multiplier but I didn't want to use anyone else's gear.. i was so chuffed ☺

Hi john and family , I have always fished and loved it, but over the last three years realised I had a serious sea fish mark on my doorstep , this being the river Mersey , and got right in to the sea fishing , I always went to Devon and Cornwall on holiday as a kid , and loved fishing light for wrasse and pollock, but I started watching your videos about six months ago and through this horrible lockdown period watched your

I hope your still making videos 15 years from now because you and Mrs. Fishlocker seem like such wonderful loving parents and I cant wait to see the young man James becomes from such good parenting. Myself being a big outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish I especially cant wait to see the fishermen James becomes because your such a great dad teaching him everything you know and your so very patient with him. I think I did a very good job with my own son teaching him but I do wish he was like 7 or 8 years old again so I could use your videos to help with my teachings. Hes 20 years old now so hes about learning his own techniques and not into learning someone else's as much as he would have been at a younger age. Maybe James will keep copies of your videos to help him in teaching his own son and daughters some day. Good luck James on a successful fishing lifestyle to enjoy with your family in the future. You listen well to your mom and dad now and do the things they say and you'll have a happy fun life

Another great video John of father and son fishing and having fun, loving the underwater footage also, next level up it is. I watched this video while training at home, one eye on the TV and other on the weights, it's actually difficult to concentrate on both haha but most enjoyable as always 👍

Those home made pots seem to be doing really well John. And also great to see James (FL Junior) doing so well with the handling of those lobsters... i think i'd have been mortified by the prospect at his tender age.

Another cracking video mate, young James getting more confident in handling what really can be dangerous fish in the future and the knowledge you give him now will ensure his safety for his future fishing life. That being said, I have a CHALLENGE for you John. I have seen fish caught on Jelly worms ( confectionary type ) used instead of expensive lures. If you're up for it, it's gonna be a memorable experience. TIP : Green ones did particularly well ! and of course another well deserved thumbs up. Thanks marra.

I've done very little sea fishing. A couple of boat trips, a few shore outings. In the harbour trying for mullet when I was a kid (never got one). I'm primarily a coarse angler. But I'd love to catch a bass one day.

POOR Fishlocker needs a strong left arm lifting fishlocker jnr up to throw the days catch back....I love watching you doing the crab pots thinking what a lucky devil you are with all the fish on your doorstep you could have had a lovely fish supper with the bass they were lovely size.....do they have to be a certain landing size yes I love watching you, you are always so informative and I have learned a lot from watching you.....if only I could get about I would have a go at foraging for fish and shellfish...thank you .......BEST WISHES DEBBIE NOT DAVID XXX.....
