DAYCARE: Make it closer to the gyms. Where the parents would be. Make it BIG. Kids LOVE to run and play, they need the space. Make it the safest part in the building. Make it simple to get to.

I’m a little younger not by much, but I’m a ‘98 baby and I’ve been watching since 2016. Christian has influenced me so much in a positive way and even with some of my food 😂 I fell off after a while and am so refreshed to be back watching his videos and having his influence back in my life. For the day care: soft floors + padding half way up the walls, keep it attached to the main building with a designated paved area for emergency vehicles. Kids will be kids, accidents and/or emergencies will happen

As a parent and current person who accommodated kids in the work space. Most parents want to be close to where they would be. Cameras so on, more space is better. Depending on the age groups fun classes to encourage healthy living would be awesome! Keep up the great work love the content and love watching you grow into the different life stages

Man¡¡ thanks for this video, REALLY got me, the times of negativity and doubt are hard to bit, and when youre trying to change or do something new specially in business its scary. on the other hand when youre comparing yourself with someone else its because you want to get better but its reaaly easy to fall into the trap of not feel worth it. Worked at a gym in college. Worked in the daycare sometimes. Had a huge slide activity center. Was the biggest hit of the joint.
Soft flooring, auto lock doors so kids can’t escape, bathroom inside the kids room is a must, frosted windows 😀

Bro I’m from Brownsville Tx there is a gym here that offers basketball and soccer classes for kids at different times in the day and all classes have 30 to 40 kids enrolled in believe they offer two classes a day. Of course if kids are enrolled we parents enroll in the gym and workout while the kid is in the class. This would be a great idea for your gym, humble opinion. Big hug from Brownsville TX !

I’ve been following you since 2015 😊 since then I started with fitness and wanted to own a gym. I opened my own gym in 2019, not the best time obviously but I made it thru and now I’m 5 years in and still going. When I was not motivated I watched your videos to motivate me 🙌🏻😊 so thank you but to be honest i thought it would be so much easier to run a business 😄
OMG baby Alphaletes! (If they want to). Definitely give them a little more room and give them access to play sports (again if they want). I used to coach tennis for the little kids at the Boys and Girls club and they LOVED it. Definitely a good opportunity to influence the kids at a young age while their parents are working to be the best too!!
We had a megaplex in Memphis called Wimbledon Spirts Plex. It had like 4 gyms, two Olympic sized swimming pools, one indoor one outdoor, two hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms in both dressing rooms, an Olympic gymnastics stadium, 5 racquetball courts, an entire indoor tennis gym, party rooms, daycare, massage therapy spa, cafe, tanning beds, karate, dance, cheer, basketball teams and courts, and I think even soccer. They shut down in the late 2000’s. I’m not sure why because it was the best place to be. If you have something like that and can have a creative team to keep up the momentum, you can make it happen. Once you build something so big, it’s easy to feel drained. Find something to motivate you and get a team to keep up the momentum and create events that bring people in and keep the hype up.
You may also want to see someone now that you’re married and wanting kids, you may have some childhood traumas surfacing that EMDR therapy can resolve super fast.

As a newer mom that goes to the gym, I’d prefer my child in the building or closer to the gyms. Not in the parking lot. But love the idea of adding a daycare to Alphaland!
I agree with closer in the main buildings.
Your first stop is to contact the city/state to find out what you need for requirements and licensing. You must likely have to hire people that are licensed for daycare.

You could have classes in there for the kiddos to. Like an hour of Zumba or gymnastics or something fun to burn the kiddos energy while parents work out
Yeh thats a great idea. Theres plenty people there already that can do fitness classes and he already has security on the premises and cameras. I think kids would enjoy that more and it could be the same parents that go with their kids regularly so they would make friends too and get worn out.

7:46 still think there should be built in camera mounts dotted about the gym positioned by the most popular equipment and the mounts have the threads on top so you can attach your cameras straight on. Saves people carrying around tripods, them getting in the way of walkways causing hazards and can be positioned where people wont be walking in front constantly🤷🏻♂️
Suggested this back in 2022 but never got a response.
I would outsource daycare: I used to work in one for 9 years and there’s a lot of state rules and regulations you need to follow plus state health inspectors that come. Also each age group is a different ratio and make sure each daycare employee is certified in cpr and first aid;

My gym has a (supervised) “kids club” area where the children hang out and play while the parents do their workouts. It’s been part of their concept for 20+ years or so. When I was I kid I used to love being there and watch movies, paint or play with the other kids! Such a great concept🙏🏼
I don't know if you will see this or read this. I have watched you since the birth of my second daughter. That was almost 10 years ago. I was struggling as person and as trainer. I seen the grind and that inspired me to grind as well. My Faith is in Jesus Christ first. Long story short I own a successful gym here in Temple, TX called Barbell County Fitness and I own a supplement company called War Ready Performance Nutrition. My brother! Just from experience in a gym who had them. Getting your license is first. Make it clear on the time they can have in there per kid. Make a band that you have to have for the kid and parent to scan when they pick up so there’s no question that they match.

I can also tell you, how you are supposed to eat on a genetic level :) I eat for example once a day only at night, well, based on my genetics :) I can run a free Human Design Chart, if you are curious, so you get a feeling :)

The area needs to be a large area, especially with state ratios. Texas ratios say “Toddlers (12-36 months):1:6 ratio (1 teacher and 6 toddlers), maximum group size of 12. ( maximum means for one room）
Preschool (30 months-5 years): 1:10, maximum group size of 20.
Kindergarten: 1:12, maximum group size of 24.
School-age (Kindergarten-3rd grade): 1:15, maximum group size of 30 but that’s just childcare in general lol also, allergies are a big one and time you would have the daycare center open and closed.

Daycare would be a dope idea. Some fitness enthusiast that wants to visit the gym or go workout at Alphaland but can't cuz no one can watch their kids. Now they have the option to bring their child.
i used to work in a daycare and can definitely say to make it as big as you can - helps a lot especially if there are little ones trying to KO each other to give them space 😂 i’m not sure the regulations where you’re at but in Canada where i am i know you can only have a certain amount of kids in there based on square footage!

My parents have a daycare with 139 kids ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. It’s an entirely different world/business than a gym. I’m sure you know, but you’ll have to get necessary licensure to run a daycare and hire qualified staff. You’ll likely have to go through Texas’ department of education for licensing. If you’re planning on doing more than one room, a licensing agent will come out to give parameters for each room and how many kids + teachers that specific room can hold. Also, ratios of kids to teachers is extremely important - we’ve seen daycares be shut down due to this. We’re based in MD, so I am sure there are differences between us and Texas, but I’d be more than happy to give you my parents contact information to help get you started!

For the daycare, as someone who worked in a gym day care, I would definitely make a separate area for babies/toddlers in the same room, so have it half walled off or gated off somehow because older kids are hyper lol. A basketball ball area for older kids. A movie room. A game room with video games or something and definitely padded floors because they will fall! 😂
To be fair I don’t have kids yet so maybe parents would disagree for safety/security reasons, but I loved having an outdoor play area, jungle gym, etc., when I was a kid. It would be cool if the kids had an area where they could really run around and play hard. Their own mini gym.
Maybe build a bigger than necessary area for the daycare that way you can take on some full time slots which can easily pay for the extra staff. Then the extra kids coming in while their kids workout won't cost you anything while still being able to charge for the service.Takes the variability of it out.
