    I live in Assam. A lot of people are SC/ST's here. And most of them have costlier cars than me. They spend money like anything. They do everything to flaunt their richness. If those people had used a little amount of their money to upbring their communities, 7 decades would have been enough. They themselves dont help each other, why should we care about them? The dalit netas and other kinds of netas should try to unify their communities instead of asking for expanded reservations.
    Guys, 2020 should be the deadline. Its been enough!!

      Why don't you use your money to bring out your community instead and stop pretending that all that you guys have is because of merit, it was reservations for you as well and even much more than us for like 2000 years.....ok....even ......

    How will it be if there is reservation in IPL:
    - No bowler can bowl at a pace greater than 100 KMPH to a Batsman who belong to SC/ST/OBC
    - If an SC/ST/OBC batsman takes one run, it should be counted as two runs
    - Spinners should tell the SC/ST/OBC batsman where the ball will pitch and how it will turn
    - no more than 6 fielders including the WK in the ground while SC/ST/OBC batting
    - SC/ST/OBC people should be dismissed twice, not just once
    - SC/ST/OBC person should be made captain atleast 50% of the time during every match
    - Toss wont apply.
    - Man of the match...yes you got it right!!!

Job reservations means, asking for a job which you does not deserve. How can govt decides who should work in someone's private? in future these shameless political leaders may demand who should work in even in whole sale shops, home maids, drivers, etc. Giving reservations in education is accepted but I don't understand why people are not getting good marks when they study in the same college or university with OCs ..who is stopping them? If the OC and BC/SC/ST both get same marks they can give that job to backward classes.. but if u give doctor, engineer, etc jobs to 35 marks guy when guys with 90% marks are still in roads, what kind of society these politicians is going to create

I know Arnab can hear from eyes and see through ears but I appreciate his competence. Good debate. But one thing is clear, this quota system will one day break the nation and it will stop here. Therefore, it is necessary to open reservation for all on the basis of poverty and those sc/sts who have achieved the level of comfort should not be given any reservation and because them the benefits of reservations are not percolating/ penetrating the lower level. I was in Haryana and while passing through the town of Jind I saw a camp of Mahadalits sitting on dharna for reservation. On contacting they said that the upper caste dalits have usurped their share of jobs and a few families are monopolizing it.

    I give you a live example of what reservation has done till now. So, I've seen this guy who belongs to a reserved community and his family condition is well off. Both his parents have good Govt. Jobs. No less of resources, books and stuff. Still he got everything at a subsidized price and easy work. The same subsidy could have been given to a needy BPL family(can be from any, UR/SC/ST/OBC). Thanks to caste based reservation that's not happening.
    So, He got admission to the same NIT that I studied after scoring less than half the marks, I did. Next what he did was 'aayashi'. Govt used to pay a hefty stipend for being person from a reserved category and he used it to do "sutta", "roaming on bike" etc etc At the end it was the placements which was on merit not reservation. So, he got kicked out! life spoilt! :p
    Moral of the story: Give reservation to the needy i.e. poor people of the country. Who feel a daily scarce of resources. Jiske paas hai use dogey toh wo uska mazaak udayega

    The question Ms.Rajyalakshmi was asking is whether you would employ a driver on caste basis and not on merit basis. I think Netas didn't respond to it swiftly. They started arguing that reservation candidates should be given opportunity, and forward castes only enjoying opportunities...! But, look at it on vice versa view! If a forward caste driver is not good in driving, still he is giving employment? he is not forced to do so right? This is what we actually wanted. Employ them on merit basis. If a person after getting /not getting reservations in education can not be lifted to benchmark level, wherein he is not eligible for a job, there is no point in employing them.

Because they are sooo relaxed that all they need is 33% marks and will beat a 90% marks holder because they will get job under quotas. Shame on you Pavan. If a father gets a job under quota and it should be stooped right there because now it is a father s responsibility to provide opportunities to his children. So, We general are now minority in our country . We should ask for General quota . We generals are the real dalits for over 3 generations now . Its high time that India put an end to reservation system. I think reservation should be given on the basis of economic condition. Because today I see SC mostly ST people living a life of luxury. They are doing great while others are not. This has to stop. And one thing I have noticed is that people are misusing this priviledged quotas. SC/ST are meant for people who were exploited in the early days of India's integration like dalits,harijans,etc but I see people who were never exploited enjoying this quotas.

If the slum dweller is really good , he will find a way to fund his education through scholarships, sponsors etc. and would never need any support from govt. Govt has been encouraging laziness in the society through reservation quota, what it should actually be doing is provide public schools/colleges with low cost education for such low economic families and strong discrimination laws. Indians should worry more about how to sustain their economy long term (which our ancestors did for thousands of years with flexible jati system and less exploitation of mother earth) especially due to fast depletion of non renewable energy. Nothing can replace non-renewable energy fully. Obviously we cannot blindly ape the past western models of economy. With huge increase in population, there is NO place for greed anymore. If everybody leads a simple life, SC/STs wouldn't see any discrimination. We should not blindly ape one dimensional material (hedonist) philosophy (creation of zionist bankers). MG said it beautifully "This world has enough for everyone's need NOT greed"

    It's a shame that these people think people can't get into private sector without quotas just on the basis merit. That's one thing only politicians will benefit from and not poor people of India and definitely not the country. Another thing is that it's an insult to people to call them backward caste. A caste can never be backward and the person who calls a caste backward is in fact truly backward and India will be better off if such people do not get elected. I can understand people who are poor getting some kind of quotas on the basis of their financial situation as they're ones who sincerely need help. That too should be limited to education. That will truly level the playing field in the long run. These politicians who call for such quotas aren't interested in the development of India or the uplift-ment of the people who they claim to represent. I think the people should understand that and largely the people do.

Since thousands of years Brahmins deprived the sc / st / obc (Bahujans) from education, basic services, right to property.Now Brahmins and upper cast members should be deprived of education for the next 20 years. 20 years is not much compared to the year 3000. Reservation is increasing the caste issues in India. People deserving who don't get opportunity because of reservation end up having issues(hate in some cases) people from those caste because of this reason. If they are sincere then they should focus there work on education and skill development. Else there is only one conclusion to this that like most of the things in our country it is there cheap vote bank politics. I also want to highlight one personal point. I am from one of the prestigious institute of this country and If they get reservation now and then reservation for promotion in private sector then I would want to move to a fair and just opportunity country because I can see the no matter how hard a person works finally it will be my surname that will determine my success. Then don't cry of brain drain and say why good engineers/doctors don't want to work in India. Mr Politician wake up .. brain drain will be because of ur cheap vote bank politics. #DeathOfMerit #DeathOfConstitution #DeathOfDemocracy (Because this is against the ethos of constitution in its true sprite like Dr Ambedker wanted it to be) . And Mr Verma, Lalu is the pioneer of cast and corruption politics in India .. I think Nitish is in bed with wrong wolf. I am tired of speaking against Reservation . May be now we and youngsters which aspire to get into job market need to apply for jobs outside country . First the system made it difficult for general category to get in government sector now the Private sector is the next sector . I doubt will Private sector prospect in India , I guess they too will wind up their business and go out of country .

    they want reservations for next 1000 years.

  • @anandaprasadaraoappasani1923

    The people who promote Reservations are the ones whose children have got benefit from reservations. The same people do not want to give up after having moved up in society both financially and educationally. They are against economic criteria, why? All reservations should be on economic criteria and reservations should mainly for education.

      PRAKASH RAJ so if reservation is given in olympics .. do you gaurantre you guys will get medals? and first of all olympians which are considered and have trials have sc's st's in them aswell.. if general beats them he goes for olympics coz he or she is better and vice a versa

    • @axxayyn
      @axxayyn Před 7 lety +1

      What a fucking stupid analogy. And similarly, "no reservation in bollywood" so how many oscars did India get? Omg.... this is so damn lame.

    • @prakashraj7112
      @prakashraj7112 Před 7 lety

      Analogy is right but the fuck is in ur understanding of the question.
      Bollywood and Hollywood from "Budget to Technical advancement have a huge gap. So Indian cinema cant expect any Oscars and forget about even competing.
      There is huge gap between India's support and aid to its Sports and what countries like USA, Russia, China etc are doing...
      SO STATE/NATION NEED TO DO SOME ACTION TO BRING JUSTICE IN EVERY SPHERE
      There is term known as "Social injustice" and go through it and u can understand what is "Affirmative action and the need of Reservation"
      NB: Read John Rawls "Theory of Justice" to understand the need of State's action to uplift deprived class by doing Social justice.

    • @axxayyn
      @axxayyn Před 7 lety +1

      PRAKASH RAJ PRAKASH RAJ So, when there is a huge gap, what the fuck that has to do with reservations. India is not going to perform well either in Olympics or for that matter at Oscars mostly due to the aforementioned reasons by you. Now, if you want to talk about social justice, that's a different issue altogether and has nothing to do with your "ingenious" analogy.

    Reservation is a birth right but reservation in private sector is asking too much. People should be questioning the education system not fiddling with the private sector. Reservation for first 22 years is an excellent idea but asking reservation for life time is ridiculus

    but he may take a reserved seat for his son/daughter to uplift his already rich/prosperous family.
