Hi! I own one of this Y Glide....Almost 90 %original.... I changed de fork, and the rear brake... it was one of 3 which were send to Argentina. I still proudly ride it....😂
Just picked up large framed one for $65 in decent shape.. Same color..like the unique raised trek logo on sides make you think it was something very special when it came out. Just needs tires and grips..I want to like it so gonna give it a chance. Very light.
Sounds great and what a bargain! I’d recommend getting a short seat post if it’s a little too large a frame for you as lowering it too far can sometimes hit the rear shock if you go over a bump
I had a Y22 with slight upgrades back then, it wasn't my favorite riding bike but it was getting a ton of looks, after it I got a very ugly 2000 Marin alpine trail which was way more capable downhill, I traded the Y22 for skis... A pair of Volant iirc

I've got a 98 Y glide deluxe, just recovered it from a theft, currently taking a break from rebuilding to watch your video!
Oh awesome ! Thanks for watching and good luck in the rebuild and sorry to hear of the theft
Great job!
Thanks !
I have the same exact bike, working on getting it trail worthy again.
Go for it ! These are great bikes to keep riding

Rear triangle looks the same as a Gary Fisher Joshua
Yes very similar
Not similar but same. Gary Fisher Joshua level Betty if to be exact.
a friend of mine got a nos orginal of this one, stored inside, warm. totally orginal, ridden 1km max, just like new. is 150 euro is that expensive ??
That sounds like a proper bargain to me ! What do you mean by nos ?
@@newforestexplorerNew Old Stock, since it was just ridden 1km from shop. it seems like brand new.
@@johnsmith-zv1lo Well they were £1200 new when I bought mine so that’s a real steal at that price - nice one !
Looks like my y3. Just maybe better parts. Like forks.
Де можна купити Trek Y33? Їх більше не виробляють?

Its not original anymore. I have the same bike but with all the original parts
I don’t actually say it’s all original, some parts are that I point out. Thanks for watching
