looking to buy a ss sc 2007 but the guy says it as a misfire in 4th and 5th gear at 2800 rmp, and he says if you dont go higher than khm your ok, could taht be a valve too ? sorry for my errors i am french.

It is possible, a burnt valve certainly seems better at higher rpm, but its would be noticeable at idle as well not just 4th and 5th gear. Sounds load related which is typically a weak ignition problem. (Coil, spark plug, wiring connection, crank trigger, ect)

If that valve does burn would that cause it to have like a smoke cloud my cobalt was running down road then lost some power when give it some gas it does a cloud of smoke I'm thinking its oil tho not coolant

No typically a burnt valve will cause a low speed misfire but generally would not cause any smoking. What color is the smoke specifically? Black, grey, white, blue? Does the smoke have a distinguishing spell?

@@ChronCrew it has a black cloud it struggles to hold idle for a second I'm almost thinking its camshaft position sensor I had that come up and a cylinder 1 misfire but when I give it a little gas it runs fine no noises or anything I'm thinking it's either that sensor or the timing is slightly off maybe????

@@drewteclaw8467 black smoke is fuel. There can be alot of reason for excessive fueling. Bad injector, faulty coolant temp or air temp sensor, faulty maf or map sensor, failed fuel pressure regulator, faulty oxygen sensor, ect.
