- In This video I do some acid etching on a die cast truck. I plan to etch a Terminator T-800 on top of a Hot Wheels 56 Ford Truck.

Great build! I think I like the whitewalls slightly better than the black walls. Yes also do the Combat medic the same as this.
Hobby addict: I agree
Same... white walls for me too.
Looks smart. I personally preferred the white walls. Now give me you jacket, you boots and your motorcycle!
Companies take notice. Mass produce this stat!!!!! This needs to go viral and be done for retail. A mad Max Terminator combo custom omg that would be neat. This is god level custom good.
Do a TWISTED METAL like the sweet tooth ice cream truck
This
Hell yeah!!!
He did
Ur dream came true
Splendidly done!
I think painting the air filter side red would bring a lot more life to the car!
Lovin' it! I'll be back for another theme build, maybe PREDATOR with some rubber rastas?!? GET TO THE CHOPPAAAAR
Awesome buddy that roof looks fantastic. I'd say I film about an hour of screw ups to get 5 mins of footage that looks like I know exactly what I'm doing !
I'm really impressed with how this turned out, nice job! I recently took apart my first car, a mustang from my childhood that was well loved. Thanks for the inspiration
I like it. I think the only thing 'missing', so to speak, that would really capture that movie-inspired Hotwheels look is a decal on the sides of the van saying Terminator or T-800
Didn’t know where it was going, but i love this build. Top turned out great.
"Once the paint is removed, you can see here that it looks terrible." You slay me :)
Awesome custom! I always enjoy videos from my diecast mentor who inspired me to get my own channel.
Looks amazing and yes... let's see that van down the road. 😀
Beautifully done! The Combat Medic is a good choice just sand off the ridges on top! There's a lot of nice flat areas on the sides- for graphics or etching, etc.
Just a lovely finished custom.Bravo!
Awesome! A combat medic like this would be awesome!
I really like this one. It definitely has a nostalgic feel to it.
Like it better with blackwalls.
Fascinating process, would have liked to see some etching on the sides, such as flames, etc.
Your statement at the end, "I'll be back" would have been great across the bottom of the rear doors!
Would make a nice addition to anyone's collection.
Or just LBBACK on the license plate. 😁
I love it I like the black tires better and the seats do make it pop great build...
You are really mastering your craft. Hot Wheels needs to take notice. The purple skull and red eyes was cool too. I look forward to more etching. Keep up the great work.
I think you should totally do both the van and an indiana jones car or something, as the new movie is in the works!
I thought you did pretty darn good. I'm amazed at the customizing/restoration you've done. When I was in my early teens the only way anyone could customize HWs was with the famous paint pens.
Nice! How about doing Ricky’s Sh*tmobile from The Trailer Park Boys?
Outstanding build
I get the feeling that this sort of idea could be implemented into a Mad Max style build. On the topic of swapping wheels, I have found that wedging a flat bladed screwdriver or even a hobby knife in between the tabs holding the wheel can allow you to pry them apart and remove the axles to install new ones. At the same time this method allows for the tabs to be folded back down to hold the axles in place. As you said though, their really just there for manufacturing purposes, but this method may come in handy for someone.
I liked the flames with chrome 🔥
Amazing transformation!
This car enthusiast gets me rock hard every time
Kinda sad this channel is growing so big. It used to be my little secret but I do love that you’re gaining more support! Fantastic build as always! 😄
As always skillfully edited, designed and entertaining ♥️
That looks incredible
The laser etch roof is a great idea and looks fantastic ! People that bitch about not having the equipment to laser etch or zinc plate are often not even building cars ! LOL
Building is a process, for every car I build I get ideas for 2 or 3 new builds and I learn something new every day.
I appreciate your work and look forward to seeing more ! 🍻
Cool build, looks really fiddly especially considering the scale of the car
This terminator movie is going to be amazing, I think. The car is amazing too, lol.
Wow, you really should make an engraved lowrider with this method.
Other people might be better painters, but no doubt you do the best customs on youtube.
Very cool. Far better than just a restoration because there is some.mystery as to what the end product will be.
Awesome project.. Yes do the medic van!! Wooooo
My knee-jerk response was, "Nooooo! He painted the white walls!" But after looking at it, it has no other white parts and the black seems to fit the dark esthetic better. Very cool build!
Thanks!! I did not paint them... I just turn the tires around to expose the other side. It still has whitewalls on it... you just cant see them unless you look from the bottom.
Everything you make is so awesome! I watch all of your videos. A couple of years ago you got me into this hobby! Keep them coming!
It looks good. I like the white walls better then the all black tires. The Combat Medic vehicle sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing this.
Quality finish. I really like this custom version.
I like the white walls better, red headlights would look great and I'm not a fan of the gold. Awesome car though and I really enjoy watching your videos.
AWESOME build it looks so amazing!
I really do like it a lot, looks great it's not out there and flashy it's just a real nice job, great work
Awesome job. Definitely should have kept the white walls though. Looked amazing. Still looks amazing either way
That's pretty sick!!!
I know what you were going for with the super clean look, but I feel a disconnect between the weathered look of the etching and the clean look of the rest of the car.
I feel like bullet holes and scratches on the body would help tie in the etching on the roof. Just a thought.
Also, LEDs for the eyes would be killer. Seems like the van would have plenty of room to house the electronics.
Why don't you edge a angry rubber duck (from the movie) on the sides of this same model.
Too bad that the flame-stickers didn't work they looked amazing.
Very cool, loved the terminator movies, awesome build, I guess you could use a semi trailer (18 wheeler) but thats just an idea, 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
Love those old Fords I buy them every chance I get. Love this one. Great job as always.
Great build. Black walls look just fine. I would paint the floor boards black also.....my 2 cents..
Awesome end result, I like the white walls most too.
I could see this being achieved easily enough using some simple etching tools too, the metals these are made from are quite soft, you could simply draw the picture by hand using a fine sharpie and then go over it with an etching tool and hammer.
There's a lot of potential in this when I think about it, you could add definition to designs over the car or create lines where there were none before.
Awesome! I like the black walls better. Please do the van!
Masterpiece of a custom
WoW! This is so cool!!! Awesome job!
Would it be possible for us to get some uncut footage of you working on these projects? I find that watching you work is incredibly therapeutic.

Oooh, I would so buy this from you. I've been watching the Terminator series these past few days, since I'm a Arnold and Terminator fan. Would be nice to have the first terminator, on a hot wheels, in my collection. Thanks for the vid.
Beautifully done
It is a little hard to read to me but I really like the idea of this. I also like the white wall wheels on this truck. I think this method will produce some really cool projects in the future.
Looks good! You should add a water slide decal on the vehicle, maybe a sign that says something like “Terminator racing team”....
Paint the headlights or the headlight rings red, match the eyes👍
Some small LED's for eys would have looked cool too .
That's pretty damn cool. Good stuff.
Absolutely stunning!
I dig it, nice tag line at the end
That looks sick! Nice job!
Nice build ,yes it would be nice to see it on the combat medic but other than that it came out nice
I love the Vallejo Metal Color line!
Laser engraver 🤔 it looks fantastic 👍
That looks AWESOME! Great custom!!
AWSOME !
I like it! I'm more partial to whitewalls, myself, but the blackwalls look fine, too.
Well, wow! 1st, I didn't know that home laser engravers existed. Must get one of those! And 2nd, wow! That is one cool project you did there! Nice work!
Great job on the Terminator car
It would be cool if you do that kind of etching the back of a van or truck like this where the rear windows would be his eyes. Just a thought.
Absolutely incredible!!! You are easily the best at these Customs and Restorations. Amazing work and I could watch these everyday. As always, looking forward to the next video.
this. is. amazing! wow
terminator would look good across the back doors
I saw that casting and thought that it would make a great rat rod but yours turned out amazing
Coole Idee mit dem Lasern sieht Klasse aus
I like the whitewalls better than the black walls
Hot wheels plz give this man his own line even a trial run?
I think I liked the process of getting to the final result better than what it ended up looking like but overall a great video!
WOW amazing results love your style of choice only thing missing it’s a metal base to give it a more metal killer machine look !! Either way it’s Bad ass I give it 2 thumbs Up 😅👍🏼👍🏼
Awsome. Love the detail and not just settling for so so. Also love the black wall tires looks more sinister and more evil great work. Thanks for taking the time to do such great work
Great build! I just love seeing the process of things like this! If I had to recommend another casting for this, it'd be the '55 Chevy Panel. It's a fairly large casting and has plenty of room on the roof. I was literally just messing around with one earlier.
You made a Terminator!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
For me, the blackwalls make it look more like a dragster; Whitewalls make it look more like a cruiser/roadster. I prefer the whitewalls slightly more myself, but the blackwalls definitely make it look mean.
I kinda think their might be a little too much detail in the face? It's an awesome effect, but it's a little hard to tell what's going on. Might just be because I can't see it in person )
Great job as always my man!!
Great custom, but you should have laser etched the Cyberdyne logo on the sides
I have this car and i love oryginal version, but your custom i cool too! Good work! 😍
looks pretty cool 😎👍 i would probably cut out the eyes and let the yellow windscreen be the eyes rather than painting them red
Such a nice build! Love it! I think if you painted the filter media on the engine it would add a nice detail on an already amazing custom.
Yay!!
Looks amazing mate.
Nice job! I love the top.
Great to see another exemplary custom baremetalhw
Holy Cr@p!.... Another first. You are the bar.
Great idea! Loved the whitewalls tho.
Man this is so freaking sick, I love it man. I gotta try this. I love it man
I got inspired the other week and did a classic mojorette which was fun as it has suspension.
