Sony makes games. Uncharted is by a Sony owned studio. Days Gone is by a Sony owned studio. God of War is by a Sony owned studio. Horizon is by a Sony owned studio. The Last Guardian is by a Sony owned studio. Spiderman is being made by Insomniac Games who isn't owned by Sony but might as well be because of their strong relationship with them through the years (Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Resistance which were all exclusives.) Same with Quantic Dream who is making Detroit. They also have a strong history with Sony (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and now Detroit)
Sony has more studios than Nintendo and Microsoft. One of their biggest ones - Sucker Punch (Sly Cooper, Infamous) wasn't even there this year so they are probably working on something big. Same as Naughty Dog who does Uncharted/Last of Us/Jak & Daxter (and did Crash Bandicoot) they weren't there this year and even though they just released Uncharted, Naughty Dog has 2 teams and is probably working on another game. The people that make Horizon also have 2 teams. Polyphony Digital is also owned by Sony and they make Gran Turismo and there is a new one coming out. Media Molecule is another owned by Sony and they make Little Big Planet/Tearaway/Dreams. San Diego Studio is also owned by Sony and they make the MLB games. Sony has a lot. Those are just off the top of my head.

I got a PS4 a few months ago, and this conference solidified that I made the right choice. So many exclusives and new IPs!

+Nizzle Prizzle Didn't one of the Microsoft execs say if you don't have a 4K TV, then you shouldn't get the Scorpio? I don't have a 4K TV, so I don't really care about the Scorpio. Sony has more games that I'm interested in. Bottom line. I've had more fun playing through the Uncharted series than I have with any other series, ever. If you prefer XBox or PC or Wii, cool. But the PS4 just personally appeals to me more than any other console

It's all live! Naughty dog played the last of us demo and Bruce was talking about he was scared that he was going to fuck up. They lower difficultly settings and I'm pretty sure they practice before hand.
The game does seem to be more open than this demo implies. There's an extended gameplay demo/trailer for this that shows the same environment and general sequence of events, but they run off to a bunch of different places to evade the zombies and show off different options. That demo also winds up on top of that silo, but that just seems to be a convenient place for them to script a dramatic ending sequence.
Confirmed for this game:
- It is an open world game.
- You can customize you weapons, motorcycle and character.
- The monsters are called "Freakers" and are not zombies since they are alive and fully conscious of what they are doing, so they are in fact infected, not zombies.
- There are different faction of both humans and Freakers throughout the game world and you can pit humans versus Freakers or humans versus humans, or Freakers versus Freakers.
Actually Eric, they were playing the games live, if you go back and watch the PSX Uncharted 4 reveal demo the developer messed up and died once, and people just cheered because it was gameplay. Also don't worry, there will be one mess up just as bad as the one you mentioned in the MS press conference, you will be glowing red while watching it.😂

@@0hkie i have been luring hordes into enemy camps and making the giant freaks called Breakers fight swarms. Even animals will fight.
@@0hkie sorry i meant they are zombies they just arent called zombies. Yes they are called freakers. The developers literally said in the rapid fire interview that this is not your typical "zombies" game. People tend to get confused cause there are different types of freakers on this game which seems to give the impression that they are not zombies. The base premise is they are zombies but the developers call them freakers, undead and everything in between
@@0hkie trust me ive played the game. I can see where youre coming from cause of the nero missions indicating that they are like wearing watches and shit while being freakers. They can call it whatever they want, add any variations and types infact alot of zombie games have done that in the past to diversify the enemy types. All im saying is they act and feel like zombies. If theyre different from zombies, they need to make them feel like they are different through gameplay etc. Now the likes of hybrids like o'brian are solely done for narrative purposes. At this stage the infected are at zombie-like phase, and until next game where we face the evolved hybrids as a normal enemy type where they make you go "Holy shit these ones legit dont act like zombies", i will look at the freakers as zombies in this game.
I personally really enjoyed the 12 separate E3 videos. I for one got really excited when I got all those video notifications on my phone. Thanks to you guys for all the content and hard work. Keep it up!

Anyway, that Uncharted 4 live demo from last year(?) was actually live. Nathan wasn't moving after the intro cutscene ended, so they had to reset the demo and watch it again. Well, either that, or they dropped playing it live after it didn't work and switched to a pre-recording.
This just shat on Dead Rising lol
Also I'm sure he played it a few times through before this so he would not fuck up.
Dont even care about dead rising, what i do want is a game like Dead State but more focused on building up a settlement with a community and diplomacy with other settlements stuff like that instead of running around collecting supplies that disapear in to air.

The people do actually play the games on screen. The reason they don't mess up is usually because they made it so the can't fail I.e infinite health, infinite ammo etc. Last year's E3 when they were onstage playing uncharted 4 they had to restart the entire demo because the controllers batteries died.
Great reactions guys. Been meaning to re-watch Sony's press conference as it's hands down the best this year imo. And ended up watching it with you guys. Hope you guys do one for Microsoft and/or Ubisoft too. =D

I have no doubt the person was actually playing the game. Not only was his fingers matching up with what the character was doing in the game when the camera showed his hands. It looked like real gameplay. He missed plenty of times, he almost got caught. It looked like real gameplay with a person playing. It was scripted of course, he likely rehearsed it several times and it doesn't look too difficult to follow that script, just run and shoot.
Glad others shared my "Oh its zombies meh....Thats alot of Zombies....thats a whollle lotta zombies this looks awesome" train of hype.
Now I am going even further back
I've been putting off getting a PS4..mainly due to lack of funds.. now the script has changed. I'm getting a PS4 just to play Days Gone.

so that gameplay was scripted or what? i mean i saw tyrone reacting to gameplay and in that did the same thing but longer, in that the guy was runing in circles and then went to the bridge, and had ammo of 750 in this one no hud
"I think it's fake." Well, you have four screens right there to scrutinize it to death after that accusation. A live demo with a live orchestra, clearly they didn't rehearse at all, right? lol =P The thought of 'god mode' and enemy AI turned off seemed like safe bets to take when looking at a demo like that. And the God of War guy doing the punch was clearly him having fun after probably many hours of rehearsals. Live demos with a live orchestra, not sure how Sony is going to pull that kind of conference off again. That was very entertaining and so much fun to watch, compared to the other conferences.

+Blazekingz skyrim remastered fam. im on console so finally we're getting mods and amazing graphics
Andrew Mells you can run skyrim on a pc with mods which doesnt even run witcher 2 on minimum and it will be just fine. And it will look better than the remaster. This coming from someone who has the game on the ps3 and my laptop. If they remastered oblivion or morrowind i would agree but syrim remaster is a joke.

Those gameplays (Days Gone and God of War ones) were indeed fake. Both of the videos were available on official Sony CZcams account when the game were announced (hidden few minutes later and again shown after the presentation of the game). It was all fake... but nice looking fake nontheless.
