    The most interesting thing is that: there are two sides of Kīambu that don't mix- across the King'eero border. They are different, those are different. So most older generations hold strongly true.
    Another thing I have observed: the big name church members feel other churches are sort of 'not right'...
    We are all sojourners in this life, equal as can be, and this life in us is not ours, at all.

    I think it is proper to allow every person involved here to heal. It is not easy to put up with a wife who smokes or abused drugs. A church going , a born again mother inlaw would feel totally lost with a daughter inlaw like her. Let's be real here! However, it is divine to forgive especially now that she has found the Lord. Thank God, that the old is gone and the new has come.embrace your faith and live for the Lord. He has better things planned for you. All the very best.

    This is very unfortunate and Am asking myself. What a coincidence,, When this woman was drinking and smoking which is very weird behavior for African lady and especially Kikuyu and to make the matter worse wife of someone. That her husband was very good to her but when she had turning point w8th positive impact, the husband turned to be so evil to her. How can he dare even to insults her in front his children and son in law. I can see you have a very great destiny and I hope when your husband will meet head-on with Christ this marriage will be elevated to another glory. I also like the words of wisdom from Wambui Mwangi. Pastor P w be strong in the Lord Jesus and preach the gospel in season and out of season. Amen

      I don't see a problem so whe a man do those things is right but when a woman do is wrong , why? So that means there's is someone who has power than others, everyone has his or her life and if you're really worry about what your spouse does you should consult them with care not violence because people go through alot to end up in that situation and if you cant you can go your own ways

    I AGREE NO WIFE SHOULD BE ASSAULTED OR BITTEN AS THERE ARE BETTER WAYS TO RESOLVE. I THANK GOD FOR TURNING PRISCILLA'S LIFE AROUND. HOWEVER, THERE IS ONE PART SHE FAILED, IF YOU ARE MARRIED YOU ARE SUBMISSIVE TO YOUR HUSBAND AND THE BIBLE SAYS SO. IF HER HUSBAND WAS NOT HAPPY OF HER BEEN AWAY FOR DAYS AND SOMETIMES WEEKS TO MINISTER,SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE WITHOUT HER HUSBANDS BLESSINGS. SHE SHOULD HAVE SERVED GOD LOCALLY AND GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO TRAVEL TO GIVE HER HUSBAND TIME TO BLEND IN TO THAT NEW DEVELOPMENT. THIS WAS A 360 DEGREES TURN AROUND THAT THE HUSBAND WAS NOT USED TO LEAVE ALONE THE IN LAWS. GOD DOES NOT HONOUR WHEN YOU DISOBEY YOUR HUSBAND. SHE CONFIRMED A TIME CAME THEY DID NOT HAVE FOOD IN THE FARM AS SHE WAS BUSY MINISTERING. SHE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF HER FAMILY FIRST BEFORE GOING TO SERVE OTHERS. THIS FAMILY WELCOMED HER VERY WELL AT THE BEGINNING AND HUSBAND ACCOMODATED HER EVEN AFTER FINDING OUT SHE SMOKED. SERIOUSLY NO AFRICAN HUSBAND WILL TAKE THAT ESPECIALLY THOSE DAYS. I THINK THE GUY LOVED HER VERY MUCH. I GUESS THERE WAS COMMUNICATION BREAK DOWN AND EVERYTHING ELSE WENT LOOSE.

    • @mwg9989
      @mwg9989 Před 2 lety

      some Christians have wrongly used these Bible verses as an excuse for husbands to mistreat their wives, the verses actually communicate the vast responsibility a husband has to care for his wife and the wife’s duty to honor her husband. Eph. 5:24 Paul does not mean that wives must endure abuse, neglect, or mistreatment of any kind by their husbands. Rather, Paul is reminding the church that a wife is under the leadership of her husband (Eph. 5:23). A Christian husband must always show his wife honor, both publicly and privately, and protect her dignity and reputation from any and all slander (1 Pet. 3:7).

    • @mwg9989
      @mwg9989 Před 2 lety

      The husband is to provide. But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (1 Tim. 5:8)
      Lets stop switching roles.

      I think he should have left her if he was unable to deal with her comings and goings. Because even when she tried to change, he became even more abusive and more of a drinker. Nobody is perfect but I don't think this lady is to blame here..at least not entirely. This guy had issues of his own, least of all poor self-esteem, addiction, plus he was a violent, abusive man. I am glad she had the strength, albeit late, to leave him amd find her peace.

    This is why I dnt believe in giving under the demands of the law bt under the grace of God coz the scriptures say in the book of malachi which is in the old TESTAMENTS that after paying tithes, God will rebuke the devourer and open the windows of heaven. In the new testament it's a done deal. The finished work of redemption. God has done it all and finished. Those who live by the law will live by them and will judged by the law6
    Those who live by faith will live by faith and will be judged by faith as the scriptures says so.. The law according to the Bible was for Jewish people not for the new creation church of Jesus christ. Failing one demand of the law is failing all since one has to fulfil all to the dot. Unfortunately, no human being could or can fulfil the demands of the law. That is why christ was given to die and fulfil the demands of the law on our behalf and fulfilled and said it's finished
    The new creation church of Jesus christ should now give unconditionally, according to one's capability and cheerfully. Paul said so. We're now not of percentages bt of any amount, in trillions, billions, millions, thousands and tens according to individuals capability. See after this lady giving according to the law still the devourer could destroy like nobody's business even more than when she didn't know about tithing. Evn when we were yet sinners christ died for us all. It's not by performances bt by faith. We should give as responsibility not as demands coz paying means demands. Also, it depends on preaching coz this days preaching is about prosperity, motivation entertainments, miracles, selling the so called anointed materials etc. The true gospel is all about christ and the risen christ alone and His finished work of redemption. This is the reason why christ was given. Miracles and casting out demons, are by the way bt not the purpose. The purpose was to reconcile humanity back to God through His Son Jesus Christ by his death burial and resurrection. This is the true gospel preached evn by the apostles of Christ and that's why they suffered rejection and persecutions to evn dying painful death for the sake of the gospel of Christ and the risen christ alone and His finished work of redemption. Bt today is all about wealth like financial services. how to succeed how God will solve problems, and how to live a better life. This is not the true gospel of Christ.

      Giving isn't wrong even tithing but don't tithe according to the law. Tithe like Abraham, he didn't do it to fulfill any law. For me, I take tithing as the way we pay taxes to our country for growth n development. Citizens are the ones who pay taxes, eg I can't go to Uganda to take my tax, why? It's not my country and am not a citizen there. Same way, it is us christians who belong to the kingdom of God. The church is what God choose to advance his kingdom and we are the citizens of that kingdom. So, just like we pay tax to build the country, we give our tithes to build God's kingdom as a principle. It's not like we are being forced, Noooo, it's cos we know who we are in the kingdom. Actually, a citizen of the kingdom can give even whatever percent, ata 20, 30 or more, inategemea na vile mtu ameamua but not obliged by any law. Cos even if you can only get 5percent, God loves a cheerful giver. What I can say about this case, this lady didn't know the word well. She didn't have to write her name when she give, that's not the word. Bible says right hand shouldn't know what left hand give. Why should you be appreciated for giving to God? Me I don't write my name, even if I give how much. That is no one's business, it's between me and God. That thank you you get when your pastor know what you have given is all the reward you ever get. One reason why people like the pastor to know what/when they give, it's so that they can be helped Incase of problem. I used to be a pcea member and a certain usher almost forced me to write my name on envelope. I asked her why n she said "if you don't write, how will the church know that you give n how will you be helped if u get a problem?". I told her I don't expect any problem n if it comes God whom I give will help me. Me I don't announce, my reward is with God not men.
